I've been hearing great things about the gorgeous jewelry here for awhile and it was an absolute treat to check it out during an event night celebrating all things Canada at Vacancy Hall. Faves of mine included the gorgeous caged pendants - quartz is my absolute fave! Also loved the gold and silver feather necklaces. Tons of really fun rings including one that looked just like the snake from from the latest T. Swizzle video. I'm pretty certain my daughter will be begging for that one next time we pop in. What I like about this place is how they manage to display so many rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings and even headbands into such a small space without being overly cluttered. They have separated each collection and even have a bargain corner with a sample sale. To be honest, the prices surprised me... in a good way! There are a lot of things to see and be tempted to buy. In general there are a lot delicate and breakable items in this store. If you bring young kids in here, or even accident prone adults, I would advise being extra careful. I find there is enough space to maneuver around items. At the front of the store they've got some pretty cute items for fairy gardens. They have quite a selection of miniature figurines such as fairies or miniature gnomes. Where the cashiers are at the front, there are different colours and kinds of mala necklaces, under a display case. They also have a wide selection of Buddha figurines as well as other religious deities throughout the store. The have different sizes of figurines too. One wall has various dream catchers on display. The far side of the store has an impressive selection of different kinds of incense, incense holders, candles and essential oils. They also have various Himalayan salt lamps. A large portion, I'd say about half of the store is full of New Age types of books and CDs. But in between and on top of the shelves there are more items to see. At the very back they have a wonderful display of various gem stones, crystals and beautiful jewelry. This is my favourite part of the store. You can learn a lot about what the stones mean. Overall, I think this is an awesome store to check out! There's a lot to see and lots of tempting things to buy. If you want to find a unique gift for someone, this could be the place you'll find it.
