I found the products were clearly labelled with the type of beads, size of beads and prices. The store was well organized. I didn't have any difficulty finding what I was looking for. However, I did go around the store a few times to make sure I saw most things at least once. This store is jam packed! They have all the supplies you need to make beaded jewellery. For example, they sell different kinds of string, glue, jewellery findings and tools for jewellery making. They also have a random selection of costume jewellery, socks, purses, wallets, embroidery, sage, essential oils, books and so much more! This store had larger selection of beads than what you would find at a big box craft store. I found the prices pretty reasonable. I will definitely be back here when I need more supplies!

Beadmaking is not just for hippies anymore. This store is huge on the inside and features several rooms of charms, strings of beads made from different materials like glass or stone, ribbons and strings with clasps already attached (just add charms), and even a small selection of wallets, purses, and pre-made jewelry. The charms and pendants are incredible. There is a huge selection of religious ones for Christians and Buddhists, ones for sports, ones made from fimo clay, and even ones from Swarovski crystal. Many are from the Shag Wear designer line. I bemoaned the lack of Stars of David, but otherwise had to exert a great deal of self control. I got one horizontal fimo charm, a string of beads that look different than anything I own, and a bag of jump loops (used to connect pendants to a necklace). The prices are much lower than any other bead store I have visited and the selection is better. I am inspired and will be back.

Represented nations include Kenya, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, and Peru. Everything is exquisite, in a way that only handmade talent can create. All the items are labelled with where they were made, so you know what bit of culture you're taking home with you. They currently have some amazing items out for the holiday season now, from ornaments to hand-carved nativity scenes. It'd be cool to have a tree covered in ornaments that represented different cultures from around the world. While some pieces are a bit more than elsewhere, keep in mind that these are handmade and fair trade. I found the prices on some of the items to be lower than in regular Christian bookstores, particularly some items of jewelry, and the clerk was non-intrusive and let everyone in the store browse in peace. I believe those who work here (some of them, anyways) are volunteers, but I could be wrong. If you are Catholic and looking for inspirational gifts and items for home and worship, this is definitely a jam-packed little store that makes maximum use of a small space.

I went to their designated call button for online orders, repeatedly pressed the button, allowing time in between each press for a staff member to come from somewhere in the store. I see a staff member organizing shelves, I approach them and ask if they can help me that I'm there to pick up an order and nobody has come to help me. They said I haven't received a call and the I don't need to be rude to them. I paused for a moment confused, and then stated that I'm not being rude. To which point the staff member stated I was being rude and that they were only matching my rude energy. I said I wanted to speak with a different staff member so I didn't have to deal with them. The staff member then replied that too bad, they were the only person available, and maybe I shouldn't be so rude next time and that the call button isn't working and they work in customer service and know how people are. I responded by stating that I work in customer service too and know how to treat people and it wasn't my problem the call button wasn't working, I followed their process to collect my online order, it is not my problem their process is broken. The sales person then asked for my last name, I gave it to them. I had my order open on my phone with the bar code ready to be scanned, the sales person then stated they needed my order number and proceeded to grab my phone out of my hand without asking. As they entered the order number the sales person stated that maybe next time I could just go to the till and have somebody help me there. I said the reason I didn't go there is because they were busy helping other customers and I didn't want to be rude. As they walked away to get my books, I said I was going to leave a bad review and they responded with maybe I shouldn't be so rude next time. I have never experienced such rudeness in a customer service person and then be gaslight by the staff member in trying to make me out to be the bad guy simply because I was expressing frustration in a process. I never once raised my voice, swore or name called. I was simply trying to express my frustration. As someone who has spent their entire career in customer service and take pride and joy in customer service, I find it disappointing that this was the go to response from a customer service person. There is enough ugliness in the world, empathy and kindness when someone is expressing frustration about a process, goes a long way.

I am a fan of this book store…read more I am old school and buy books to read. I just have a thing about holding a book and reading it vs online or on a tablet. They have more than just books. They've got games, toys, and tonnes of other items to browse. There's also a Starbucks if you want to buy and coffee and book and sit and read for a bit. My niece and I checked it out for her spring break as they had a week of kids activities. It was super cool... and I learned about new toys that are on the market that I was in the dark about. The event started off with an employee reading a book t all of the kids before they went to the different stations. The different stations for the kids were coloring, play games, and having an interactive experience. Indigo head office also provided grab bags for the first 50 kids or so through the door and we were lucky enough to show up on time and my niece got one. She was tickled pink and went home super happy. Book readers exist lol, we walk amongst everyone else... we need bookstores!! Shop local and save yourself shipping and just buy off the shelf
