I was feeling bereft of fresh healthy plant-based cuisine, so I was quite pumped when my friends were amendable to trying out Gaia's. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and (I think it was) tomato soup - they were both very delightful. They most definitely tasted healthy, if you know what I mean, which my body was craving at the moment. I wish the sandwich had been less bready with more filling, but I nearly always find myself wishing that! The soup was good, nothing absolutely stunning, but it was fresh and flavorful. My two friends seem to enjoy their selections as well. It was thankfully a pleasant day so we sat outside in the patio and helped ourselves to the watering station outside. This place definitely has a small cafe feel and service was prompt and pleasant.

I showed her the sign and she act as if she couldn't read it. She still charged me 5.75 for the chai and an extra .75 because I asked for coconut milk. I didn't fuss again ... so I asked for a receipt. The receipt machine didn't print it out and she act as if she didn't know how to get it to work. I told her nevermind. I got the chai and can honestly say it's the worst chai I ever had. It had no tase at all. It almost tasted as if it was straight tumeric with no flavor. I didn't have the energy to complain again so I decided to take it home and make it better. I will not go here again. I haven't tasted the Acai bowl yet but I hope it's good. The chai was the worst!
