We stopped here for a quick bite and it was alright. We tried to keep our expectations low but we still left feeling underwhelmed. But it wasn't for lack of effort! The staff was super friendly and attentive. I don't know...maybe smoothie places just don't do it for me anymore? For a quick, affordable, and semi-healthy option, I'd try Tropical Smoothie Cafe again. read more

After hiking nearby, my son wanted a smoothie. I'm never one to turn down a treat, so we hit the map and found the closest place-which happened to be Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Upon entering, we were cheerfully welcomed in and helped with our order. The nice young man behind the counter offered a suggestion when we were contemplating our options. The drinks didn't take long at all and were brought out to our table. The flavor was good, although I thought they were a bit heavy on the ice and less on the actual fruit. For about $20 (including a tip), I felt that we didn't really get a good value. There are not various sizes, just one size which is rather large. But the service was friendly and quick, and if you're not too picky about a high-quality smoothie, this will get the job done. read more

Rudest restaurant in the city. I stood at the counter for several minutes. They kept walking past. Nobody said a word until I addressed them. Got my order eventually. By "got" I mean she set it on the counter in front of me and walked away. I will definitely not go back read more

So we are a 5 times a week visitor to TS. A bit expensive but its what it is. And its a great smoothie. However.. i have been getting the wrap... i understand it's not very big but... this? This is crazy bad (small) maybe $1 wrap. But definitely not what they charge. So if you're on a diet and don't need food, this is the way to go. Sad can you address this TS? read more

i come here in the mornings before i start work sometimes. today when i pulled up to order the girl was very rude and said "ok order." usually this time in the morning i get a smoothie and a wrap. i ordered my smoothie, then as i was ordering my wrap, she cut me off and said "yeah. we don't do food this early." I thought that was very odd because i've come earlier and they've made my food. then as i pulled to the window, she gave me my smoothie and shut the window. she was very rude and obviously didn't want to be working today and didn't want to make my food. read more

Premade low quality for the price food. My smoothie bowl base was frozen solid and toppings were not fresh.

Paying too much $$$ for just a bunch of ice!! ZERO stars! We ordered five smoothies, 2 Sunrise Sunset, Bahama Mama, Paradise Point, and a Mango Madness. We watched them making them and they are 80% ICE!! They all tasted bland and watered down. We were all totally disappointed! We had purchased the same exact smoothies a year ago, and they weren't watered down. They have definitely changed and added more ice! We also got the açai bowl, it was the smallest quantity of açaí you could ever get for the $10 price tag!!! It's so small and tiny!! We arrived 10 minutes before the main cafe closed. The employees were NOT happy to see us! In fact one lady just kept glaring at us!! Not friendly or helpful!! At exactly 9 PM, we were told that they were closed and had us move to the outdoor seating. Outside was chilly and breezy, and we regretted getting smoothies. The table outside are disgusting, and we had food and shakes that we didn't want to put on top of the table! This is not the place to get smoothies! There are much better places that make higher quality smoothies! I highly recommend going somewhere else!!! read more

Ordered on Yelp and items were ready before I arrived (yay!) Island Green Detox and added flax seed. Super yummy and healthy. The ginger is strong so if you are not a ginger person, skip this one. Chicken pesto flatbread was flavorful, lots of chicken. Service with a smile and she called me by my name. read more

I ordered a green dream smoothie from the drive thru and they got my order wrong. Instead I was given an oatmeal bowl. Not what I ordered and not at all what I wanted but it was too late to go back by the time I noticed so I was stuck with it. I am not a fan of cold oatmeal and I really just wanted a green smoothie bowl. read more

Today my wife picked up a Baja chicken salad bowl for me. It was around 1 p.m. on a Saturday. The bowl (see photo) had very little chicken and what it did have was dried out and/or overcooked. I've eaten here at least 5-6 times, and there is a pattern of slow service and intermittent quality. You can read the several reviews that talk about unusual wait times...even when there aren't a lot of people there. I get the sense that they don't have their process down pat and that they are often understaffed. I wouldn't go back based on the food we got today. read more

The smoothies were great. However, probably the worst customer service ive ever experienced. When i walked in they were not very busy and yet i stood at the counter to have my order taken for quite a while, all the employees (all teen girls btw) were clearly ignoring me while i stood waiting, 2 of them even gave angry glares at me. Then another customer arrived for a pickup behind me, after a moment, an employee comes over and sees me, ignores me entirely and starts talking to the person behind me about their order, afterwards goes back to what she was doing beforehand! After another moment right as im about to leave without being helped one asks if i need anything in a very rude way. Also as i was waiting for my order the employees were clearly making it obvious they were upset, they seemed very petty. read more

I have heard so many amazing things about this place and was so disappointed. The good: it's not just a smoothie place! I was surprised to see sandwiches and other food on the menu. They also had some unique flavors I don't typically see at a smoothie place like kiwi. The not-so-good: the smoothies had a lot of ice with a little flavor. It seemed to be mostly ice plus flavoring which was not my favorite. I was hoping for something more healthy and less sugary. I also didn't like that they only had one size of smoothies. Maybe you can order different sizes but it wasn't listed. Plus the ones we got were $5.99 so it just seemed pricey for a lot of ice and sugary flavors. read more

Called in for takeout and the employee was refreshingly polite and helpful. She had my food ready in about 5 minutes when I went to pick it up and they were both in a good mood for it being pretty early in the morning. The triple berry oat smoothie is delicious! Also, they have vegetarian and vegan meat options which is awesome. Great service great food read more

I typically like this place. However today when I went in I got a little worried about how sanitary this location may be. An employee not on the clock came in and went behind the counter to make her own food. I don't believe she washed her hands, her very long hair was down and she kept touching it as she was making her food/smoothie items. Maybe just a fluke incident, but having worked in the food industry for 12 years I'd suggest some more training for the employees. read more

I am disappointed, Tropical Smoothie... I never really write bad reviews due to finding that positivity spreads a more beautiful way, but after so many times of the inconsistent behavior and lack of caring to include the necessary ingredients I am actually paying for... I just don't see how else to get through to this company (besides not returning again). I have always LOVED the Southwest Omelette Wrap. Like I ate it EVERYDAY when I was pregnant kind of love.. You know what I'm talking about? It's A breakfast item served ALL DAY packed with some fiber, some protein and a whole lot of deliciousness..... UNTIL NOW. Ingredients of said wrap: Eggs, Spinach, Chicken, Tomato, and Chipotle Mayo wrapped in a tortilla. What was in my wrap for lunch today? Minimal Eggs, virtually no chicken, more tomatoes than I should eat in a lifetime, CILANTRO instead of spinach and NO CHIPOTLE MAYO -- IM ALLERGIC TO CILANTRO!!!! No big deal though, right? Just cant feel my face or throat. Needless to say, I work far out in Ivins and had to throw out my wrap and settle for a flavorless smoothie because the Avocolada recipe has dwindled to an awkward flavored water that is no longer enjoyable. read more

Honestly the sweetest people!! I came in with my friends and didn't have Apple Pay, and one of the ladies working gave me a free smoothie cause she didn't want me to be left out! And the place is so clean! These guys literally made my whole week! P.s. to the lady that made my smoothie sorry for asking you to marry me. It was just sooooo good, I guess I got a little excited! Keep doing what you guys do, we need more people like you! read more

I love the chicken chipotle here and my smoothies are always pretty good but I do have to say every time I am at this location they are super slow yet act like the place is jammed pack I don't think there is any effort on customer service just get rid of the customer as quickly as possible without a hello or have a good day and maybe that's the kids these days which is a bummer. This morning the kid said to me when I asked for the energizer add in "ughh I don't think we have that" okay I said can I do the matcha powder then? "I don't know if we have that either?" You have been open since 7 am you think you would know what is 86d for the day. read more

I order the SuperGreen Cesar chicken Bowl. It came with iceberg lettuce and no kale spinach or romaine lettuce. When I told the waitress/ girl Who brought our food out she said she would be back and after a few minutes she brought out a small bag of spinach and Romain lettuce. I then went and spoke to the Manager Amber after talking to her they rushed to remake the salad but I told her I would just like a refund and so she said okay. She crumbled up my receipt and sad it would go back on my card... then I informed her I payed cash. She refunded me but I was so shocked How they handled everything. I and my family are never going back and the lettuce They brought out to me was horrible looking . I didn't even take one bite. read more

This is an update to my last review. I decided to give this location another try, and I must say it was impressive. Complete turn around from my last visit. The manager was very friendly and helpful to me, and everything he suggested was just great. The workers( I think there were maybe 4 people working) were all friendly and smiling as they rushed around getting things accomplished. There were several other customers inside, and quite a few cars in their drive-thru, but I still felt they took the time to make my order just how I requested it. I watched one girl bouncing around helping multiple other workers, and still smiling when she looked over at the customers as they walked in. I've been to other food places, and there are almost always at least twice as many people working as this place, but this place, even understaffed, was knocking it out yesterday. I left with an appreciation for the staff and their fast paced work ethic. And I will be sure to visit again when they're less busy, since I felt bad that I added to what looked like a busy day for them. Amazing food, and the cranberry smoothie the manager suggested was just crazy good! read more

Today I ordered lunch online for pickup at 12 for lunch. We got there about 12:05 and it was not ready which would not be a huge deal but we waited for 10 minutes until we got our smoothies. we waited 15 minutes and my co worker got up to see if they had started our food. The woman at the front counter was very unprofessional and probably should not be in customer service. The current staff seems to not care and not be up to tropical smoothie standards read more

Sat in the drive through for an hour with only 2 cars in front of me... makes me real pukie waiting that long for one single smoothie

One of my favorite things to get here is the Baja chicken wrap with apple kale slaw. This time when I went the rice was cold and crunchylike it had just been taken out of a freezer bag, the chicken and beans were cold, the cheese was not melty... My newest discovery! Love the Detox smoothie. It appears no processed sugars used which I appreciate compared to other smoothie places. Detox has kale and spinach. Don't worry about enjoying a green smoothie. The other juices included in the recipe give it a sweet flavor. read more

I went through the drive-thru today for the first time and was surprised to see the girl at the pick-up window was not wearing a face mask. I absolutely love this place, I don't know if 'addicted' is the right word, but it sure is close!! I've gotten a smoothie almost every single day this summer, and last summer as well. The Bahama Mama is my personal favorite smoothie, but you really can't go wrong. The food is also extremely good. All of the wraps are great, and the flatbreads are my favorite. They are a little slow when they get rushed, but they are human, so what can you do? Sitting inside is always nice and cool, making it even more enjoyable!! Whether it's: breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, before the gym, after the gym. It's perfect any time of the day, I recommend this amazing place to everyone!!! read more

Went here since it was close by and new, figured what the heck. Placed a big order that included 2 wraps with BEYOND MEAT CHICKEN. Not only did they charge me for both wraps an additional fee, one had no chicken whatsoever the other had real meat. So normally i would only get a smoothie, but today the breakfast wrap sounded good. I had the All American wrap. i was thinking this would be great but it was a tiny 5 inch wrap.
