1st time visitors. Visited Saturday afternoon in July. Not terribly busy and plenty of parking. Greeted promptly by a friendly hostess. Ordered an apple and wife a DP. Waitress was talkative and polite. She pointed out the Beaver Balls and recommended we try them. We had the cheese and jalapeños and they arrived Nicely cooked and lava hot. The ranch was delicious and creamy. The Balls were tasty, spicy and very good if not a little pricey at 9 for 10 bucks. Our entrees consisted of a beautiful cooked chicken fry smothered in creamy gravy with fries and okra. Wife had catfish, which was very good. In fact the entire meal was worthy of 4 stars. I can cook a pretty good chicken fry and my fish ain't bad either but you knocked both out of the park. My wife commented on the homemade Cole slaw, that it was delicious. We were on an anniversary trip in Eureka Springs and we chose you because we had never been there and had wanted to. Thanks for everything you do to make customers feel welcome and appreciated. Went to there tavern this afternoon for brunch/lunch because nothing else was open and I'm seriously so happy that what we wanted was closed. The bartender was super on top of things, and his drinks were delicious. He also was such a big help with things to do around the area since everything seemed to be closed and it was a gross day outside. I ordered the loaded chicken nuggets and literally can not put into words with how delicious they were. They came with approximately 8 chicken nuggets and they were covered in cheese and bacon. Great karaoke crowd this evening. Service was some of the worst I have experienced in my life. I counted 22 people in the karaoke area. Zero at the bar. I had to go and buy my drinks at the empty bar area. Amanda seemed to be disturbed because I had to go order drinks. The crowd was so disappointed with her service. I spent a good chunk of change in that bar this evening. I had to empty my ash tray twice. She could sing karaoke, but not be attentive to her customers. Very disappointed. We weren't the first to leave. Day was goIng very well with the other merchants being appreciative of your business. Obviously this place does enough business they don't need tourists business. This was the only place open for dinner that didn't have a wait. The bar was a little smoky, something I'm not used to anymore. High top tables were a bit small for four people to sit and eat at. I got the BLT and swapped my regular tomatoes for the fried green variety. I recommend making the swap! Food was fine. The food was a bit overpriced for the portions. I visited here on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It's a small hole in the wall bar, but don't judge a book by its cover! The wait for our food was a little longer than I expected in this type of place but when we got our food, it was WELL worth the wait! I ordered potato skins & they were the best I've ever had! Not sure what cheeses they used on top but it was different & so delicious! (& I've had potato skins almost everywhere!) the bacon on top was REAL, CRISPY, thick cut bacon! At noon, 25 bikers came in. At 12:20 2 of us went in and ordered the shrimp po boy and another sandwich. Over 1 hour later, the kitchen FINALLY sent out a hoagie with 4 burnt shrimp... Waitress was friendly and apologetic but kitchen service was horrible. If 25 people can shut your business down at noon then you need to rethink everything. read more
