Several people recommended this place but I was not a huge fan. A busy bar in the middle of the town, but was loud and people can smoke inside so I found that to be very unpleasant, not to mention you leave smelling like an ashtray. read more

Zero Stars, do not recommend. Took an hour to get appetizers. Servers were rude when we asked for water refills. Okra order was doubled without asking and then was charged double. They tried to charge us for waters. We didn't leave a very good tip because of the service. Ate lunch at The Rowdy Beaver with out-of-town visitors today. The food was awesome. We had the shrimp po boy, the pork sliders, the phily steak burger and onion rings all around. We all really enjoyed it and we left stuffed. The service was friendly and prompt. While many reviews noted that this bar is smoker-friendly and have dinged them for that in their ratings, my view is, you know what it is and if it bothers you, go elsewhere. read more

Swung in for a drink and bite to eat while shopping. Super friendly bartender (blonde lady) who took care of us right away. Ordered southwest rolls. VERY good, couldn't eat them all. Stopped in for dinner and drinks. It's a chill little place. The drinks were good (weak but good). The food was on point! Everybody in our group loved their food, especially the onion rings! For me in a 5 star bar. Right in down town, have food and allows smoking. Some folks don't like smoking but in this section of town, I think it is great that one can enjoy a beer and a smoke at the same time. Great karaoke crowd this evening. Service was some of the worst I have experienced in my life. I counted 22 people in the karaoke area. Zero at the bar. I had to go and buy my drinks at the empty bar area. Amanda seemed to be disturbed because I had to go order drinks. The crowd was so disappointed with her service. I spent a good chunk of change in that bar this evening. I had to empty my ash tray twice. She could sing karaoke, but not be attentive to her customers. Very disappointed. We weren't the first to leave. Day was goIng very well with the other merchants being appreciative of your business. Obviously this place does enough business they don't need tourists business. After 6 in the evening on a Sunday the town slows down. Lots of shops and restaurants close down. We decided to try this place out. Yes it smelled like cigarettes. But it IS a bar. We ordered burgers and a few drinks. The burgers were pretty dang big. It was fun listening to the people at the bar. Apparently they'd been drinking for awhile. It was entertaining. We stopped in Sat afternoon. I wasn't feeling well. My husband had a few beers and the waitress was very sweet and attentive to both of us. Some really nice strangers from Illinois sat down at our table and they ordered food, some tacos and a salad and it looked amazing. There was a band, which was very good. This was the only place open for dinner that didn't have a wait. The bar was a little smoky, something I'm not used to anymore. High top tables were a bit small for four people to sit and eat at. during our mini vacation to Eureka Springs, we stopped in here while out shopping around the many stores and to rest our feet from the walking. however nothing spectacular is behind the door, its just a mediocre kind of bar, if there really was more to the place I didn't see it.. I visited here on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It's a small hole in the wall bar, but don't judge a book by its cover! They had a guy playing guitar & singing, a little loud for me on a Sunday afternoon but everyone seemed to be enjoying him. With that said, I expected typical bar food, nothing special. WRONG! The wait for our food was a little longer than I expected in this type of place but when we got our food, it was WELL worth the wait! I ordered potato skins & they were the best I've ever had! Not sure what cheeses they used on top but it was different & so delicious! (& I've had potato skins almost everywhere!) the bacon on top was REAL, CRISPY, thick cut bacon! My adult son ordered the Pizza burger & was also very impressed!! The menu has a lot to choose from! Staff was friendly! Yes, it is a smoking establishment but we both smoke so we weren't bothered! At noon, 25 bikers came in. At 12:20 2 of us went in and ordered the shrimp po boy and another sandwich. Over 1 hour later, the kitchen FINALLY sent out a hoagie with 4 burnt shrimp... Waitress was friendly and apologetic but kitchen service was horrible. If 25 people can shut your business down at noon then you need to rethink everything. read more
