He is a very good Doctor very efficient, he does not waste your time but, he is never rushed with patients. He tells you like it is and he is not afraid to change medications that other Drs (specialists) have prescribed for your well being . He uses his keen Medical knowledge and the knowledge of the patient to determine this it seems. He has displayed great incite when issues arise as far as health and Insurance coverages, drug interactions, and the handling and filing( His office) of all the tons of red tape paperwork that are sometimes needed. On one office visit I had a medical emergency and all I remember is him being cool as a cucumber knowing EXACTLY what to do when a few of the nurses seem to be in a panic of sorts . GREAT DOCTOR!

My son is prone to the influenza, and has had it consistently since he turned 4. In fact, Dr. Bearss was the one that prescribed him Tamiflu all those times. His response when I brought that up was, "There are zero cases of the flu." ZERO. A "medical professional" said, with total confidence, that there are ZERO people with influenza this year. Mind you, there's over 144,000 residents here. But nobody has the flu right now. His tone reeked with annoyance that I dared to question him. I no longer trust Bearss. He has betrayed his Hippocratic oath to the medical field. Part of that oath is to do no harm. He ignored my sick child, showing that oath means absolutely nothing. A doctor needs to look at patients! Misdiagnosis IS HARMFUL. He was completely unwilling, dismissing him and brushing him off. After 3 or 4 phone calls with the Novant office I was finally able to get my son both a flu and strep test from the car - again, nobody has yet to actually look at my son, believing he is simply a walking plague. I received a phone call from the nurse an hour later, and would you believe that I have the only resident in all of Rowan County to have the influenza. How special for my child! I also hope that Bearss sends me flowers for doing his medical job for him...I didn't even need a degree! I truly feel bad for all of his current patients that have been misdiagnosed from his "professionalism," therefore not receiving proper treatment, simply because he's too entitled to actually care. My son didn't need a phone call; he needed a DOCTOR. This experience was both exhausting and infuriating, and he lost both my son and my husband as patients.

While on vacation I checked in with a relatively small case of cellulitis. I will be checking out with an unaggressively treated case of cellulitis, dysentery, and possibly a MERSA to boot. While all hospital organizations are notoriously apathetic and obsessed with the smell of their own red tape, Novant Health is a stand out of incompetence and lip service. I did have the fortune of a kind nurse who at least SEEMED to be compassionate to my pleas for help once their antibiotics had ravaged my system of all natural Flora and beneficial bacteria. Still my hydration, comfort, and piece of mind were of no consequence to the organization whatsoever. The physician on call in the hospital was perfectly happy to let me check out at 330am to walk to the nearest 7-11 where medical help was more accessible and less fussy. I would suggest if you're in the vicinity of Salisbury NC don't get sick or injured. And if you do, seek treatment in Atlanta, Nashville, or Jacksonville instead. Given the lowly state of the education system in NC, I shouldn't have really expected to be treated by anyone who wasn't concerned about the remote possibility that a trannie might have used the bathroom right before them or that they might catch your contagious homosexuality by breathing the same air you do while performing routine activities like taking your blood pressure. Common sense and compassion are completely absent from the Novant Health System. Pray you get sick above the Mason Dixon line or somewhere in Florida. Patient care is not a priority here.

I ask him "are you positive?" He assured me that was all I needed. When I went back 10 days later as he told me to. He said, "you know, if you had been a professional athlete, I would have done surgery." What I use my wrist/hand for should have nothing to do with it. His job is to do his best to fix it. I walked out. I spent a full year, in pain and unable to use my left wrist/hand. I spent tons of my own money doing PT, seeing other surgeons that told me that I actually needed 2 surgeries, but it was too late. None of them would touch it. Then after nerve tests, I found out I had nerve damage in 3 different areas and needed surgery to fix that. After nearly 2 yrs, I found Dr. Chadderdon with OC who saved my arm. Ginn should not have a license at all, let alone claim to be a hand/wrist Dr.

Waited over 3 hours for my daughter's work physical and drug test and they were still advising patients walking in that the wait would be over 4 hours. It would be helpful to have enough medical staff available to handle the amount of patients that are seen since they do not take appointments.
