He is a very good Doctor very efficient, he does not waste your time but, he is never rushed with patients. He tells you like it is and he is not afraid to change medications that other Drs (specialists) have prescribed for your well being . He uses his keen Medical knowledge and the knowledge of the patient to determine this it seems. He has displayed great incite when issues arise as far as health and Insurance coverages, drug interactions, and the handling and filing( His office) of all the tons of red tape paperwork that are sometimes needed. On one office visit I had a medical emergency and all I remember is him being cool as a cucumber knowing EXACTLY what to do when a few of the nurses seem to be in a panic of sorts . GREAT DOCTOR!

My son is prone to the influenza, and has had it consistently since he turned 4. In fact, Dr. Bearss was the one that prescribed him Tamiflu all those times. His response when I brought that up was, "There are zero cases of the flu." ZERO. A "medical professional" said, with total confidence, that there are ZERO people with influenza this year. Mind you, there's over 144,000 residents here. But nobody has the flu right now. His tone reeked with annoyance that I dared to question him. I no longer trust Bearss. He has betrayed his Hippocratic oath to the medical field. Part of that oath is to do no harm. He ignored my sick child, showing that oath means absolutely nothing. A doctor needs to look at patients! Misdiagnosis IS HARMFUL. He was completely unwilling, dismissing him and brushing him off. After 3 or 4 phone calls with the Novant office I was finally able to get my son both a flu and strep test from the car - again, nobody has yet to actually look at my son, believing he is simply a walking plague. I received a phone call from the nurse an hour later, and would you believe that I have the only resident in all of Rowan County to have the influenza. How special for my child! I also hope that Bearss sends me flowers for doing his medical job for him...I didn't even need a degree! I truly feel bad for all of his current patients that have been misdiagnosed from his "professionalism," therefore not receiving proper treatment, simply because he's too entitled to actually care. My son didn't need a phone call; he needed a DOCTOR. This experience was both exhausting and infuriating, and he lost both my son and my husband as patients.

While on vacation I checked in with a relatively small case of cellulitis. I will be checking out with an unaggressively treated case of cellulitis, dysentery, and possibly a MERSA to boot. While all hospital organizations are notoriously apathetic and obsessed with the smell of their own red tape, Novant Health is a stand out of incompetence and lip service. I did have the fortune of a kind nurse who at least SEEMED to be compassionate to my pleas for help once their antibiotics had ravaged my system of all natural Flora and beneficial bacteria. Still my hydration, comfort, and piece of mind were of no consequence to the organization whatsoever. The physician on call in the hospital was perfectly happy to let me check out at 330am to walk to the nearest 7-11 where medical help was more accessible and less fussy. I would suggest if you're in the vicinity of Salisbury NC don't get sick or injured. And if you do, seek treatment in Atlanta, Nashville, or Jacksonville instead. Given the lowly state of the education system in NC, I shouldn't have really expected to be treated by anyone who wasn't concerned about the remote possibility that a trannie might have used the bathroom right before them or that they might catch your contagious homosexuality by breathing the same air you do while performing routine activities like taking your blood pressure. Common sense and compassion are completely absent from the Novant Health System. Pray you get sick above the Mason Dixon line or somewhere in Florida. Patient care is not a priority here.

I ask him "are you positive?" He assured me that was all I needed. When I went back 10 days later as he told me to. He said, "you know, if you had been a professional athlete, I would have done surgery." What I use my wrist/hand for should have nothing to do with it. His job is to do his best to fix it. I walked out. I spent a full year, in pain and unable to use my left wrist/hand. I spent tons of my own money doing PT, seeing other surgeons that told me that I actually needed 2 surgeries, but it was too late. None of them would touch it. Then after nerve tests, I found out I had nerve damage in 3 different areas and needed surgery to fix that. After nearly 2 yrs, I found Dr. Chadderdon with OC who saved my arm. Ginn should not have a license at all, let alone claim to be a hand/wrist Dr.

She checked us in officially 35 minutes after our booked time slot. Our position was put further behind . There should be an explanation on line explaining that even though you book a time it's not an appointment time . We could have planned for a different tike frame when we had more time to wait ! We have always used this facility for physical and minor needs and never been treated like this and have never had this problem of not being seen in a timely fashion . The workers roll their eyes after patients check in and seem very unhappy to be employed .

Dr Kiran Jagarlamundi is so compassionate and understanding. He had spent so much time with me helping me with ulcerative colitis. When we lived in Greensboro I couldn't get any help beyond a mixed diagnosis. This level of care is something I have never seen!! He saw me for the first time on a Friday and the following Monday I had an colonoscopy and was diagnosed correctly!!! Starting with parking, that is really great and easy to get to, takes 5 min to get to the ER They immediately put me in the ICU from the emergency check in. From the entry to my discharge I felt really looked after, almost pampered and they really made sure I was taken care of well. The level of personal care, the amount they check on you is more like the old days of a gone by area. The nurses were outstanding in the cardiology, making you feel almost like being at home. Really positive attitudes, lots of laughter and a happy environment. That speaks volumes for the facility and the employment there. Also helpful my cardiologist works there some days and saw me the day after I checked in. The team that performed surgery on me was incredible, funny but to the point and gladly all fears of a blockage were put to rest in 20 min. Amazing, just local anesthesia you feel absolutely noting! Should you need stents, highly recommend the team there, I actually watched the whole procedure on the monitors above my head. Way cool were surgery is today. Discharge was speedy and easy, so was the follow up. Overall I been there 5 times (1 with my daughter and one with a grandchild) and all my experiences were really positive and only the check in nurses can be a little grouchy at times....... But with the stress level they are exposed, I understand, my better half is a nurse so is my daughter so I have a good inside of the industry. Only can recommend the facility, small but with a really great level of service and attention to care for you as a patient. Been with Novant now for 4 years and really can only say positive things about the company as a hole.

When my 80 year old mother was first taken to novant health Rowan Medical center, She had the best…read moreteam, but she was in rehab, due to the niceness and professionalism of the team, I had nothing but good things to say about Rowan Medical center, The rehabilitation facility is amazing with amazing people. The hospital on the other hand, is HORRIBLE. My mother was there for a week, Not once was she bathed, not once was her bed changed, she activated her call light at 10pm to ask for something to help her sleep, they didn't come in til after 12:00 am and then told her they don't do meds after 12 midnight. The food was horrible, a couple of the doctors were horrible and rude, I am her son, Also her POA, and I was not updated or kept in the loop at all, when we were at the rehabilitation center, they called me daily to keep me updated, but the hospital? Not once. I had to message them on MyChart. Next time it's back to Baptist hospital or Forsyth
