I had made arrangements with ROW adventures for rafting the Lochsa River on my way home from Yellowstone. My Reservations was made about 4 months early and as you know things always changes. I had to contact Lisa several times about making changes to my reservations which she did so with any issue, however when I was in Yellowstone we ended up with some car problems and I had to call Lisa again to ask if I could change my reservation one more time because there was no way I was going to make the current reservation. She was so nice and handle everything for me and I was able to make the rafting trip which for me was my main thing I wanted to do on my vacation. The morning I woke up for my ROW adventure-3 of us got ready and when we arrived did not realize that we were 1.5 hours early ( did not realize the time change). So we decided that we would eat at there restaraunt for breakfast only to find out that there was not a menu and they served breakfast only for the guest that stayed at the lodge. The staff was so nice and did allow us to have breakfast which was very good and we were so thankful. The rafting trip was the best of all. It was not a disappointment and it was the best river I have ever been on. I highly recommend ROW ADVENTURES and I will plan on using them again. Jason our guide was wonderful and he made my boyfriend who was a nervous first timer love the trip ( now we will have more great times on the rivers in the states). I did not meet one person who was not great, helpful, understanding and fun. Thanks again for a wonderful time and understanding with the reservation changes. We went whitewater rafting today in Spokane, WA & despite some rough waters, we really enjoyed our trip! We were beyond satisfied with our AMAZING guides, Kaitlin & Taylor! They are a fantastic, experienced, pleasant, knowledgeable team! Our particular raft guide was Kaitlin! We LOVED her personal, upbeat personality! She was also extremely confident and experienced! This was my first time whitewater rafting, and I was a little weary of the trip! However, Kaitlin was extremely attentive to everyone! Her beginning safety talk and "paddling 101" were super simple and easy to follow! During the trip we hit some rough waters, and a few people were tossed into the rapids! I happened to be one of them, and Kaitlin remained EXTREMELY calm during the entire ordeal. She quickly helped me back into the raft, while maintaining complete control of the remaining crew and others in the water (telling them when & how to paddle, etc.). We were extremely impressed with how she handled the situation, and trip events. She displayed the utmost maturity coupled with confident leadership during the entire trip! She is a great asset to the ROW Adventures team, and I wouldn't hesitate riding in her raft again! Kudos to Kaitlin! Have you ever had one of those days when words just don't do it justice? When everything goes so well that it's hard to believe, let alone explain? Well, we had one of those days on this rafting adventure - it was AMAZING! We did a day trip on the Clark Fork River - paddle - 7 of us in a raft (4 adults - 3 kids). We were greeted by a VERY friendly guide (his name was Mo) and were made to feel right at home. The guides were pleasant - well spoken - very patient - extremely friendly - knowledgable - and MADE OUR TRIP! The river was warm - the rapids were great - the kids loved it (they especially loved our guide - Elliot - who was full of fun facts and information about the area). Lunch was delicious and very well put together, and the scenery was breathtaking! We were able to do some cliff jumping (thanks to Jake - the guide with extreme patience & who can talk anyone off a cliff) and had the opportunity to spend a great deal of time in the water, which was fantastic considering it was such a hot day. Anyway - I am rambling and I am still not doing this company justice. You MUST try it - and if you are lucky - you will have Jake, Elliot and Mo guide you down the river! Visited July 2013 read more

Kudos to Row for running a great rafting trip on the Clark Fork. Good web site and attentive courteous help over the phone during the inquiry stage. Would have done more trips but ran out of time and the Spokane River wasn't running in mid-August. Anyway, the level 2 & 3 rapids were perfect - enough of an adrenalin rush but not so scary that you could not enjoy yourself worrying about "swimming". It was the most perfect day for weather - August 20 - sunny and warm and the cool waves of water felt great. I loved the meeting place in Superior - the big meadow and casual atmosphere but the company is professional and means business with a thorough orientation on safety and how to row and use the paddle. The food during the lunch break on the "beach" was great - lots of veggies and dips and finger food and deli items. Lots of drinks. And best of all the staff was young and energetic, knowledgeable and patient. I would highly recommend this company and this particular trip for all ages. read more

My friends and I did the Raft for the Cure on 7-27 on the Clark Fork. What an amazing experience from beginning to end. We had so much fun & our guide Ashley was totally awesome. She was so knowledgable about the river & was genuinely kind. The lunch was yummy and the rose petal ceremony was very touching and a reminder of what the trip was all about. Everyone on the staff was so wonderful especially Mo who greeted us when we pulled up in our car even though we were an hour early. The bus driver Matt was also very friendly. This was my first time rafting and I loved every minute of it! Everyone on the staff was very helpful & happy. We could tell they all love their job. ROW and their staff went above & beyond our expectations. I highly recommend them ! read more

What a great adventure! My group and I (about seven in total) had so much fun! I am very glad that we were all about to go and it was something we'll never forget. We were guided by Petrese. He was very expierenced and also full of all sorts of local knowledge and history. He made sure we all worked together as a team and shouted out row commands with authority! Petrese rocked it in the Devil's Toenail! The guides did a great overview of raft safety at the beginning. We took a moment or two to get comfortable on the water and practice the commands. Before too long we were ready to wage splash battles with the other boats and take on some rapids! I highly recommend this day trip (took about four hours total) to anyone! An outstanding group of people providing a wonderful service! You know someone does a great job when you thank someone you've given money. They were very professional and safety oriented. The process flow was smooth, from the registration to meeting all the way to the return. It was the first time for me and my wife to raft the Spokane river and the scenery was amazing! Our guide, Jeanie, did a terrific job pointing out interesting aspects of the landscape, provided fun historic information, and was really on top of the situation when we went through the rapids. We had a great time, mostly because ROW makes sure you know exactly what to wear and how the day is going to proceed. We felt like we were in the hands of a world class organization! read more

First time whitewater rafting and it was awesome. Took the day trip down Clark fork in superior, MT. It was a gorgeous day with knowledgeable, attentive, safe, and entertaining guides. Rachel was our guide for the day and she was just so nice and very familiar with the river. Lunch was delicious- a deli style sandwich setup with everything and more. Lots of apps, including artichoke dip smoked oysters, crackers, homemade salsa, fruit, nutella, veggies, hummus, cream cheese red peppers dip, and cookies to finish it off. Stopped at fish creek and threw rose petals in remembrance/ respect to breast cancer survivors for the breast cancer awareness paddle. I would definitely book another trip with ROW again! Great trip on the Clark Fork with Ashley as lead and Moe as our guide. Our kids, 7 and 9, paddled the whole trip in the bow and had an absolute blast, as did we. The river flow was just right to have good speed in the smooth sections and nice sized crashing waves in the rapids - perfect for a first trip for the kids. Crew were well organized, informative folks, who seem to enjoy their jobs and share their love of the outdoors in a really genuine way. Rafting with Row Adventures on the Lochsa was a blast! We had a great meal the night before at the River Dance lodge. The guides were skilled, knowledgeable and fun. The meal on the river was delcious. It's amazing the outfit could provide such a varied and healthy lunch with dessert of course. We experienced 25 rapids on a 20 mile portion and it was such an adrenaline rush. They allowed our large group to pay individually or in small groups to meet our needs. Elliot, Audrey, Ashley, Petras and the other nice guy driving the bus were fantastic representatives for this company; friendly, engaging, and charismatic personalities. This was my Christmas gift to a family member and friends and happened to be our first adventure on the water and this company was a wise choice. We had a pleasant time. Learned a lot. Taylor was our guide and he obviously is well trained, not only at running the boat safely, but also at invoking pleasant conversation among all the passengers. The river was kind of tame, only because of our timing in planning, so it was just a gentle couple of hours of fresh air, swimming, learning some things. Wow! What a fun group of staff Row had for our rafting trip. This was our first rafting on any kind of rapids and the experience was great. Our guides had so much personality, and were full of humor and just fun all the way from our bus ride to being in the rafts having water fights. Our teenage son said this was the best. We kayaked on the Spokane river last Wednesday. Will was our guide and Theresa was our driver. They were great. Me and my grandson had never kayaked before but Will was a great teacher neither of us capsized. He was very knowledgeable and was very engaging he had a lot to talk about and asked us a lot of questions. Theresa asked a lot of questions and was at the pick up site when we arrived after the trip. I would highly recommend ROW Adventure Center. read more

It was our first time raafting. Our family had a fantastic time with our guides, Rachel and Landon. We took our small (40lb) 6 year old grandson and he had a blast. The guides paid special attention to him and alleviated our fears for his safety. The lunch was better than some restaurants I've been to, and the cold soda/beer at the end of our ride was a nice touch. Also, the rock jumping was a nice surprise that we didn't expect. read more

Great afternoon with the family! This was the first white water rafting for our 8 & 11 year old sons - - they LOVED every second. Our guide, Tom, was friendly, informative, GREAT with the kids & a lot of fun. From start to finish, the ROW crew was professional, courteous & FUN!! The RAC in Spokane has the best rafting trips on the Spokane River. I've lived in Spokane nearly my whole life and who knew we had a great rafting river running through the city. You put in under the Falls downtown and take out after Riverside State Park. Great guides, fun atmosphere and a few fantastic class III rapids through the Bowl and Pitcher and the Devil's Toenail! read more
