The lady on the phone talked to me while I was meandering around the area in my truck on a dark road. Thank goodness!! She was so accommodating! For example: the number of nights I wanted to stay. Minimum is two nights. I was allowed to stay one. After I was assigned to one cabin, she allowed me to stay in a different cabin. Pulling up to park at my assigned cabin my headlights showed 3 deer!! Another times, I saw them from the balcony, several more deer. In fact, they seemed within an arm's reach. The balcony was clean with a covered table, hot tub and a means to charcoal meats. The grill utensils hung along the guard rails. Once inside, it appeared very clean. Every possible amenity was available (except robes or q-tips). Fireplace, cut wood, lighter, microwave, fold out couch, mini fridge, window unit, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, table and 2 chairs, tv, wifi, ceiling fan, towels (request extra if using the hot tub), shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Of course, a large cozy bed! The hot tub is small. My best guess would be that they can accommodate 4 small bodies max. Great jets and very hot water! The showers are so clean and sparkly! The shampoo, conditioner and body soap hang on the wall. All have a very mild scent. It was a perfect get away for me.

Needless to say, this experience did NOT start off well. Even worse, the room smelled awful, as if it hadn't been cleaned very well or as if housekeeping was covering up the smells of a previous customer who used the room as their own personal smoking or vaping den. As a guest I was appalled by her behavior. I think if shes the face of a hotel she definitely needs to be restrained in hospitality. She refused to acknowledge our presence. Or speak to us. Non smoking guests will be charged 250 dollars for smoking in a non smoking room even if they didn't ever smoke. If guests ask to speak to the people above the manager you won't be able to. She won't allow it. Some rooms are not getting clean bedding everyday after guests check out. The pool and hot tub are broken and would appear to be a permanent break. Get used to marijuana smell from one of the employees. He thinks he can use it whenever and wherever he wants.

They definitely aren't all as good as this one. It's a tad outdated, and it still has rooms with doors to the outside, which I hate. And they stink because people smoke right outside them. But the other rooms are all fine. Especially the king suite! Those are very nice. The best part about this location is the full hot breakfast and the cookies they put out! Bacon, ham, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles! It's really nice. Staff have always been super nice to me too. I'll stay here many more times to come.
