We stayed a weekend in one of the cabins, 2 adults & 3 teens. The property and cabins are beautiful…read moreand very well kept. The cabins must be close to new, they're just as pictured online. Two king beds in the loft were comfortable and the loft didn't get too hot during the 100 degree temps. We wished the downstairs bedroom also had a king, but the queen was comfortable. We loved that the bathroom had a door between the shower and toilet/sink area. With 5 people, the bathroom was in high demand at times and being able to shower while someone else used the sink was helpful. We brought our boat and used the slip provided with the cabin. It's not covered and you can't get to it by foot. It was a great dock though, we hung out there one evening before heading back up to the cabin. We purchased our stay from a silent auction package at a fundraiser. I did notice the prices online, seemed a bit steep but the cabin was worth it and we'd definitely stay there again.

Before we made reservations, we call asked about how the vacuum truck works. Was told just call and…read morethey will be there. The truck is available Monday through Friday, 9-12 am. We made reservations for 2 weeks, starting on a Monday. We decided to arrive on Sunday, they said that would be fine. Arrived at park Sunday afternoon, spot we chose has about 5' rise in 40ft, impossible to get any camper level. About 75% of the park is impossible to get any camper level. Called resort, they moved us with no problems. Because we were the only ones in the whole park. Oh by they way, being we arrived a day earlier than our reservation, they charged us $53.00 for the daily rate, instead of the $40.00 rate for the 2 week stay, because the have to treat it as a new reservation. As soon as we pulled on sight was told the we should be able to last a week or so before needing vacuum truck. So much for full hook ups. We asked on Sunday if we could be pumped on Friday, no problem. Was told on Wednesday that they would be there on Friday morning. At 12:40 pm we called to ask about being pumped, was told he will be there in a bit just waiting on the weather. At 4pm was sent a text asking for us to wait til Saturday. We never responded. We hooked up and was headed to dump station when we got a call asking if it was alright to get to us tomorrow. They knew that we were upset with them, we set there all day waiting on them, with no communication telling us that they never had any intention of getting to us. No one at the park said another word to us for the rest of our stay. We left 5 days early to go to a park down the road that had full hook ups and was treated respectfully. We can see why we were the only ones in the park. We were being treated like we were in the wrong. Never felt so uncomfortable camping.

Getting ready to check out and head to Woolaroc. Best stay…read morein an Inn, hotel, B&B EVER! I think the one best word to describe it is "Relaxed". Beautiful large room, beautiful property, great breakfast. The most comfortable mattress we have slept on away from home. Debby was very attentive and easy going. Amazing spot to stay while in Tulsa. It's secluded and quiet and a great price point for quality…read moreand location. A nice employee named Hayley (sp) was there during our stay and she was very helpful. We checked in earlier than we planned to due to arriving in Tulsa earlier than expected from OKC. She was apologetic about not having a cheese plate or fudge ready. I didn't even know these things existed with the room, so apology accepted! Haha. She took us on a tour of the inn and did a great job of both detailing the history/current status and the amenities we had access to. Not too much later, she brought us the aforementioned cheese and fudge. Score! She also took care to note food allergies since they serve breakfast. I have none but my boyfriend is allergic to the Earth, so that's nice. We stayed in the Sage while we were there (Thursday night and Friday night, so two different prices). It's the only room that's not directly inside of the inn, so that was neat. It almost felt like a little cabin! It's attached but the entrance to it is outside while the other rooms are inside. It's a nice simple room. The bed is comfortable but I wouldn't rave about it. The only small downside is that this room doesn't have its own thermostat because it shares one with the Willow, the room it's attached to. Hayley set it for us to a very cool temp since it was hot out. It kept the room very cold. But we were also out adventuring most of the time. If we weren't, then we would just burrow under the blankets in bed. So no big deal, but I'm sure there are more picky people out there. Every morning, breakfast is served in the dining room at 9am. It feels a little awkward almost since the inn is so small and the breakfast is guests only. They're cooking just for you! The first morning, it was only us there. There was fruit, pancakes, and a plate of bacon/sausage/eggs. It was good stuff. Oddly good bacon. Second morning there was fruit, waffles, and breakfast potatoes/fritatas/bacon. The second was definitely the best. My boyfriend hates eggs; they did something to his family, I think. So they double downed on his bacon. Lucky dog. But the fritatas were great, so his loss. Random notes: - The TVs have a lot of channels but the TVs are tiny; maybe that's a hint to spend time with your travel partner. - ^ Speaking of which, the second floor has a drawer of toiletries that includes toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner/soap, deodorant, and *ahem* condoms ~an assortment~. Some other stuff, too. - The gated exit you use during the day is closed at some point in the evening. You'll drive out the entrance and return through the entrance using the code on your room key during later outings.
