I have been dealing with Sean at Arts auto for over a year now, and just have to share this hidden…read moregem in Deerfield. The shop is kind of out of my way, but it's definitely worth the trip. First off Sean is the mechanic you will deal with. I called him Art for months. Art is his Father who retired before I started going there. And secondly, don't be afraid of Sean. He is a giant, with long hair and tattoos, and I was hesitant in dealing with him at first. But he is a gentle giant, and very knowledgeable with today's complex systems in our vehicles. He takes the time to explain the problems and solutions your car is having, and is very fair in his pricing. My daughters car needed alot of repairs, and we were strapped for money. Sean worked it out so we could give him enough money to cover the bulk of parts and let us pay the remaining balance in installments. He really helped us out when we needed it. I could go on and on. The only downsides to this place is the road it's on. It's a private road and not well maintained. And Sean is often busy, and may not be able to get you in immediately, but if you can wait, it's worth it, trust me. 5 star service from a great small family business !
