But why run a dentist office if you don't have basic equipment? They automatically opted to pull his tooth (alongside a root canal) yet when I took his to another establishment, they questioned why that would even be an option. They said that was very unprofessional and morally not right for the life of his tooth. I'm just sharing my personal experience.... If you want a dentist with proper equipment and experience, I wouldn't recommend this place and neither did my new dentist... who suggested that this be looked into further. Val looked over my X-rays and deemed 1 - 1.5 hours to be appropriate for the 3 teeth. My appointment on 9/16/25 took over 2 hours to complete. It was the most rough dental experience of my life. It felt like Dr. Rodriguez and the dental assistant, Sarah, were trying to rip my jaws apart at times. Parts of the appointment truly felt inhumane. Towards the end of the appointment a tool was dropped on my neck. The tool was sharp. Both Dr. Rodriguez and Sarah apologized twice. I was absolutely terrified. Imagine being a patient, laying in a chair for over two hours, and tools being dropped on you. I was encouraged my another dentist to let Dr. Rodriguez know that the experience was rough. She said, if you don't tell him, he doesn't know. So, I emailed Dr. Rodriguez and his response was to remove me as a patient. I had 2 more treatments scheduled, and he refused to complete the treatment.

I was not an established patient yet, but immediately I felt very welcomed in there, very cared for, and I was very pleased to hear everyone being so respectful to one another. It seems like a joyful office to work in. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I would've known about holistic dentistry sooner rather than later, but at least I'm here now. I had a silver amalgam removal done safely using the smart protocol, and both the hygienist and dentist walked through every step several times to make sure that I was comfortable. I can safely say that this is the only time I've EVER been comfortable at a dentist. Even though it's still no fun getting your teeth drilled, trusting the hands you're in is important. After receiving my Explanation of Benefits (EOB), I confirmed directly with my insurance company that they also paid the office for the procedure. For months, I called and left messages regarding my refund, but received zero response. Over the past two weeks, my calls have finally been answered, but I am continuously brushed off. I keep being told that they need to "audit" my account before issuing my refund, even though providing an itemized patient ledger showing the credit balance should be simple. Back in July of 2020 I was told by my dentist I had a cracked tooth. Because I am the very nervous…read moreand anxious type who hates even the thought of what most people consider to be small and non-evasive medical procedures, I told my dentist I needed to get a second opinion. That's when by boss told me about Dr. Lorenzana. Dr. Lorenzana was able to get me in very quickly. When he assessed my cracked tooth, he noticed that this was much more than just a cracked tooth. The cracked tooth had evolved to an infection which had torn thought the tissue and bone all the way to the edge of the nasal cavity. Apparently, my tooth had been cracked for several years. Although I never experienced any pain of any kind this infection had been showing up in my higher than normal white blood cell count blood work from my general practitioner for the past 4 to 5 years. In addition to the high blood cell counts I was always prone to sinus infections which is why my general practitioner always dismissed the results as my body just trying to fight off an on-coming infection. After learning all this Dr. Lorenzana recommended the dental extraction be performed as soon as possible. My experience with Dr. Lorenzana was great. I was sedated and do not remember a thing! The follow ups to check the healing progress were quick and on time. After the cracked tooth was extracted, I went back to the general practitioner and had my blood drawn again. Sure, enough the white blood cell count is back to normal range and I feel like I have more energy. I never right reviews. However, in this case the benefits of the dental care Dr. Lorenzana provided extended into improvements in my overall health from more energy, few to no sinus infections, and overall improvement in allergy symptoms. I am in the process of getting my implant and am confident this part of my treatment plan will be just as non-traumatic as the extraction. Dr. Lorenzana has such a personable, kind, and patient bedside manner to deal with individuals such as myself (very nervous and anxious) that I felt its worth sharing my experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a Periodontist.
