Terrible service is an understatement. They drilled a hole through my shower membrane, causing a leak through the second story of my home. Had to tear out the marble to find the leak... leasing back to their drill hole while installing the glass. Owner refuses to pay for the replacement tile and refused to reinstall the glass upon repair. THANKFULLY round tree glass WILLITS cleaned up Ukiah's MESS!!! Very impressed with the craftmanship and skill Clint brought to install our beautiful new windows. The downstairs windows were destroyed and desperately needed attention. We went with white vinyl and I have to say, it is such an incredible transformation! From the outdated and dreary aluminum windows we once had before, to energy efficient, durable, new windows that glide effortlessly and just make the room pop. I remodel and flip houses for a living and have NEVER had such an atrocious experience. They installed shower glass in three of my bathrooms and after a couple months we noticed water leaking through the bottom floor of my house. They penetrated the water membrane and didn't use silicone to fill the hole of the screw. After having all contractors back to inspect the job before demoing it to find the cause of the water leaking, it was proven to be where his screw was. He became rude and non-responsive and has yet to come back to install the glass. The other contractors stood by their work and redid their entire job to re-waterproof it and tile it, in preparation of glass installation...I wouldn't have Round Tree UKIAH back in any of my homes as far as I could throw them!!! I now have to open a small claims against them simply for the replacement cost of the MARBLE and Round Tree Glass Willits came to clean up their job. What a joke! read more

So I called Roundtree glass April 5th and spoke with a very pleasant person who asked me to send over my warranty details for windshield replacement. I assumed someone would acknowledge that they received my email. I waited for a response and never got one. So after about a week and a half I call and again spoke with a very pleasant female who told me that her boss was busy but would call me back. No one has ever called me back. I called again and was put on hold for over 4 minutes. I hung up and scheduled with Reliable Glass out of Santa Rosa!! They've got me scheduled for service and made me feel important. Not sure why Roundtree didn't want my business. But I guess if you don't mind waiting for a call back someone just might call you back eventually. I just can't wait any longer. It's been almost 2 months of waiting and several phone calls. I won't recommend anyone I know to go here. Just saying. Good work or not customer service is really important from where I come from! read more

We had a bunch of work done on our house; three sliding doors and six windows were replaced. The guys were quick, professional, and very pleasant to be around. Though I had to call back to follow up on an estimate request (not sure if the secretary forgot, or what?), all my other dealings with this company were pleasant. The guys came out to measure our window to be replaced, and were happy to take some extra measurements for another possible project while they were here. One guy was apparently in training, but his co-worker carefully watched his work and made sure all was done correctly. Received a follow-up call to schedule the installation and the installer came right on time -- if not early! Within a half-hour, we had a new pane replacing a foggy one. He was friendly and upbeat. The price, while not a steal, was reasonable, and we were happy to pay for local, friendly service. I'll let you know if the window pane falls out or anything, but it seems like he did professional work! read more

I recently needed a car window replaced and I had zero problems with Round Tree. They gave me an estimate that was reasonable, and the repair was done well, on time, and within the estimate. They called more than once to make sure I got the message that it was ready to be picked up. Hopefully I won't need car windows replaced in the future, if I do I would go back to Round Tree. read more

My experience has been with their Willits office. Used leftovers on the job they bid for us. Called them in to fix a binding sill, they tried to drill a hole through the sill to anchor into the slab, except there was a hydraulic closer under the sill. Ooops, they covered up the work and left. We found their mess a month later when the door stopped working. I'm now a believer! Ukiah has a pretty lousy reputation for quality service, especially when it comes to anything automotive. Late one morning, when I called Round Tree Glass to have the back window of my Prius replaced, I was told that they would have a window sent to them overnight, and that they could install it the next day. The price they quoted was very reasonable. Sure enough, they did a beautiful job, my car was ready when they said it would be, and the price included the tax. It's sad when a company makes you so angry at them because they do not care about customer service. No returned phone calls, no tracking of info, screwing up the books, etc. If you enjoy no call backs for months at a time this is the place for windows. Was also told that the bookkeeper said I owed money from two years ago which my credit card proved was false. Customer service is basically non-existent but if they are your only go-to place, then go for it. Technicians are fine - when they show up. They can get old windows out and new windows in just fine. But apparently if you don't live in Ukiah or have thousands of dollars of work for them, prepare to be frustrated and gear up for being aggressively pro-active, call repeatedly, repeat the request/order numerous times because they don't track things, keep having to call when they don't let you know when they are coming, and you are still unlikely to get someone helpful and responsive. Still no response - I had to call day before and 3 calls day of just to find out when they are coming to measure. I'm guessing they won;t show and I have to start all over again. read more
