Used to be an avid customer. The delivery was typically 45 minutes to 2 hours. It was sometimes worth the wait for an okay pizza. They recently burned my pizza. To make matters worse, the manager treated me like dirt for their mistake. I called about 20 minutes before closing and asked if I could place an order, Shorty, the manager, said it was late but after a quick though he agreed. I placed an order for two pizzas. I arrived in ten minutes as I live about a mile from them. The manager, Shorty, was very nice and processed my order which was ready in about 5 minutes. This is key: he did not present the pizzas to me. Normally when picking up, they present the pizza to you in order to make sure nothing is wrong before you walk out of the store with them. I arrived home 5 minutes later to open two pizzas singed on top and bottom, basically inedible. I promptly called and Shorty said "I'm sorry. I can give you store credit because we cant make any more right now, but I can give you a credit for next time". I agreed since it didn't look like I had much of a choice. Forward to today. I tried to make good on the store credit (refund). I called and spoke to Rebecca and told her I had a credit and wanted to place an order. I gave her my order along with the coupons applicable by their coupon mailer. She completed my order and said the pizzas would be ready in 15 minutes. I show up in 10 minutes and spoke to someone unfamiliar with store credit so he referred me to Rebecca. She was kind and tried to compute the order but was unable to because I had coupons. She went and got the manager, Nestor. He did not acknowledge me but went straight to see what she was doing. He looked up and told me "you can't use the coupons with the credit". I told him it didn't make sense as this was a refund on my money in the form of store credit. I gave him the analogy of going to Target with a store credit and they (Target) not allowing you to buy anything on sale, only full priced items. He quickly dismissed it by saying that the credit was by manager and that it wasn't the same. I told him the credit is because you burned my pizzas last time and this was a refund for them. I had paid 44.04 and the credit was 45.00. It wasn't as if I was getting a larger credit than what I paid. He became confrontational. "We wouldn't give you burned pizzas!" he said dismissingly. I explained the previous situation in which he replied "well that guy would've been fired". Long story longer... "I cant do it, plus you're getting a deal already with the credit" he kept repeating. I kept repeating how it wasn't a deal since it is a refund, not a gift. My pizzas had been sitting on the counter for 5 minutes already and a large amount of customers where waiting for someone to attend them whilst Nestor and Rebecca were on this. Rebecca tried to appease me by telling me that I would still have a 10.00 dollar credit since my order I placed wasn't as much or the same as the last time, but I was basically paying full price for two pizzas while holding two coupons in my hand. I told the manager I would not be coming back and he said "that's fine" in a very nonchalant fashion. The pizzas are usually better than the other chains nearby, but after this confrontation, I'd rather eat Little Ceaser's 5 buck box pizza. This location has slowly been withering and I thought it was the prices for a long time, it turns out the management is to blame and maybe the reason why there's a new one almost monthly. Their slogan "Life is stressful, getting a Round Table pizza shouldn't be" is ironic to say the least. read more

I love Round Table Pizza but this place maybe not so much. My husband and I went in and had the Family Night Buffet which was very reasonably priced especially for how much their pizzas are individually. We each tried the buffet and we each got a drink and it was only $19.95. So the reason for three stars is because the place was not that clean and there were so many flies in the restaurant it was crazy. As for the buffet, the pizza seemed a little old, there was not that much of a selection. As far as Pizza goes I think they only offered three or four different pizzas. They offered one type of green salad and Parmesan or cinnamon breadsticks and that was it. I feel like for it being a buffet they should have had more of a selection like desert or wings or pasta or something I wouldn't really call it a buffet at all. read more

Wish I could comment on the quality of the pizza but it wouldn't be accurate as the pizza was cold by the time it was delivered. I ordered a pizza for delivery hoping to eat a delicious hot meal. An hour passed before I decided to call and inquire about the status of the delivery. They said the pizza should have been delivered by now and I decided I did not want a cold pizza so I asked for a refund which they denied me. So now I have no pizza and I'm out 30 bucks! Only go here if you want to pay twice as much as any other pizza joint in the area for a below average pie and the privilege of being lied to and treated like crap. Ordered a large Wombo Combo over the phone for carryout. It was 26 dollars, to start, way too expensive. When I brought it home I find that they didn't even put on all the toppings it is supposed to have and was kind of gooey and undercooked in the middle. When I called to complain about the toppings they said, "We were out of those toppings, so they wouldn't have been able to put them on". Well then why didn't you let me know when I ordered or picked up the pizza so I could have made a substitution or gotten something different? Anyways, I ask the manager for half off of my next pizza pie and he doesn't want to do ANYTHING FOR ME. After a bit of polite and persistent convincing he finally agrees to half off my next pie. When I order that pizza and go to pick it up 2 weeks later I am told by Shannon (very rude and ugly person) that they have no record of me being issued any sort of credit/discount, although they had my order on record. RIDICULOUS. They refuse to honor the discount towards the pizza because I couldn't correctly name the manager I spoke to 2 weeks ago despite a record of the order. We have been eating at Round Table for over 20 years. This is by far, the best pizza we ever had. We had an large Ulti-meat with a pan crust. The meat combination was perfect and the crust even better. Everyone at the table raved about the crust! The manager was friendly and concerned. They are definitely trying to turn this place around and will always make sure that the guests are taken care of. They have the dinner buffet on Tuesday nights from 5pm-8pm and its 8.99. I'm giving this Round Table 2 stars purely because of the jerk manager I encountered today. We live close to this restaurant and are regular customers, have been for years. We've always had a positive experience. The employees have always been super nice, and have wonderful customer service skills. They truly go far and beyond to please the customers. The place is clean and inviting. So, none of this matters if the manager is not able to treat the customers with the same respect and accommodation. A lot of the time I like to use the "Family Feast" coupon. You get a large specialty pizza and a regular medium pizza. Well, we just like the mini pepperonis, and that's it, no other toppings. The employees always accommodate us graciously. They put the Ultimate Meat pizza in the system and then just leave off all the toppings except for the mini pepperonis. Tonight I had the misfortune of having the douchbag manager who absolutely refused to do that and pretended like it was impossible. He said I could "pick off the toppings if I don't like them". Lol! Wow! He even lied and claimed there wasn't a meat specialty pizza. I left and took my business to Mama Carpinos. Better pizza anyway. They just lost a loyal customer. read more

I just have to say I had an amazing experience at round table pizza!! I was celebrating my sons birthday back in August and had a huge party. The customer service that I received from Luna was exemplary!! She took our order and had our food out super quick despite the fact that we had such a large party! Then what really stood out to me, was that she checked on us and engaged with my family. We didn't feel like just another group but rather like she personally wanted to make sure our party had a great time! Round table is highly blessed to have an employee like Luna! I got a pan crust gourmet veggie pizza with marinara sauce instead of the creamy one listed and I thought it was great. I ordered a pizza online from the Apple Valley Round Table pizza. When I arrived I waited almost 10 minutes to get service. Meanwhile three employees were in the back talking, and they each looked at me and ignored me. Eventually someone by the name of Joel came out, and he was rude and disrespectful. He did ask me to check the quality of the pizza, which I found to be poorly made. I ordered toppings on half the pizza, and only about a third actually had toppings. I had given a nice tip when I paid online, but after the service and poor quality food I asked for it back. Joel said he was just going to cancel the order instead, and took the pizza and put it on the back counter. Eventually I got my food back, and was told to call the next day to talk to Dorothy and ask for my tip back. He then said: "I hope you have the 'expletive' day you deserve.
