There is a bowl of candy at the door with a guest book full of positive comments . Books, board games, bottle openers, a KEURIG, any toiletry you may have forgotten - including a lint roller, is at your fingertips. There are restaurants, bars, and water activities all around this location in walking distance. When I am in the area again I will definitely be staying here. You should too.

We sat outside in the afternoon to enjoy some mid September sun in the chairs that were available. This is a very old house with high ceilings and big spacious rooms, which makes up for the tiny bathroom. There is a very nice gift shop maybe 1/2 mile down the road (Vickie's) and we were able to do some shopping and have a great lunch in Cornish about 1/2 hour drive away. Limerick is a very friendly little town and the B&B is a great place to unwind.

It isn't super close to Old Port, but it's about a 20-25 minute walk, even faster if you have a car or bike. Our host, David, was so gracious and kind. He gave us all kinds of tips on where to eat, what to see, and which neighborhoods to check out. And the breakfast options. Holy moly. These are some of the things David made: lobster souffle; turkey bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast puff pastry; raspberry custard; pancakes with wild blueberry compote; lobster home fries. Honestly, some of our best meals in Portland were eaten right in this very B&B. He even puts snacks in the second floor lounge area (there's also tea and chips) every day, and on an especially hot day he put out a pitcher of pink lemonade. It seems like almost all the cooking and cleaning is done by him. I'm not sure how he manages it and yet everything is flawless, but there you go. Reserve your room early because it was booked solid the whole time we were there. Totally worth it.

The owners Leila and Anthony are truly the kindest and most hospitable people I have ever met. From the second we walked into the Inn it truly felt like we were right at home. The Inn itself is beautiful, quaint, charming and very clean. Our room was super cozy and the bed was SO comfortable (I will definitely miss it). The water pressure in the shower was great, which is hard to come by sometimes. The grounds are manicured and so comfortable. I spent hours on the hammock and in the rocking chairs reading and relaxing. What really blew me away was the breakfast and the treats. Anthony preps all the food and is a breakfast and pastries GENIUS. First night we were there they had snickerdoodle whoopee pies with a maple cream cheese filling (individually wrapped to be extra safe and clean) and I may or may not have taken a couple more with me to enjoy later in the evening... The location of the Inn is PERFECT. You are walking distance to Long Lake and a few little shops and minutes away from Lake Sebago. Amy & Robert are very welcoming, the farm is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, filling, and prepared on a flexible schedule.
