After scheduling an independent prepurchase inspection received the dealership's initial with an additional "Reconditioning" fee of $1987. When challenged, "the manager approved" a reduction of $500 for this "standard" fee. I let the vehicle go. Salesperson continued to ping my email with pressure that another sale might be pending, so I rereviewed the website and noted that Orlando Preowned advertises in general an on the specific vehicle "Zero Junk Fees & Zero Dealer Fees: The price you see is the price you get". While I'm no lawyer, this infers to me that the price on the vehicle landing page is the sale price I should expect. When confronted with this insight (with the GM copied), the salesperson dug their heels in again, reiterating this was a "standard" fee. The GMs response was to cut/paste the salespersons email as a reply without addition. Now I'm not a dumb consumer, and clearly certinly not as bright as the employees of this company, but " The price you see is the price you get" does mean something to the most of us, and I don't' think it aligns with Orlando Preowned's point of view. This was his first major purchase, and we were assured by the dealership that the truck was in mint condition, fully inspected, and had no issues. However, shortly after the purchase, the truck developed serious transmission problems. It ultimately required a full transmission replacement. Thankfully, we did purchase a warranty, but even that has turned into another issue. The warranty company is not covering the full cost, and the dealership has refused to step in and cover the remaining balance. Their reasoning was that the repair shop was charging too much--but that leaves us stuck paying for a major repair on a vehicle that should not have had these issues in the first place. To make matters worse, even some of the dealership employees have told us that this situation isn't right and that the cost should have been covered. However, the owner has refused to take responsibility or pay the remaining balance. The truck has now been sitting in the shop for over a month, completely undrivable. I do want to mention that Jay, our salesman, was great to work with. Unfortunately, beyond that, I cannot say anything positive about this dealership. We feel like we were sold a lemon, and the dealership is not standing behind the vehicle they sold us. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying from Orlando Preowned to think twice.

And while I loved the car I was concerned about the price. The gentleman I was placed with for Sales was the most high pressure, rude, and dismissive person I have met. From the outset he was bound and determined to sell me this car at the exact price. I freely admit I have not so great credit, however if someone tells you from the outset, A) I have less then desirable credit, B) This is exactly how much I have to put down and C) Here are payments I know I can afford. How do you come back to them with numbers that require 3x the down payment amount and 200$ more then they said they could pay? I was baffled. I stood firm and then the wanting to get a co-signer push started. I was at the dealership with my girlfriend and over and over and over he wanted her to sign, even making her feel guilty for not offering. It was ludicrous! I even asked about a used car at a lower price point and I was told point blank it would be harder to finance a used car versus a new one. And he went for the co-signer angle for the 3rd time after being told a FIRM no. At that point I had enough. We left the dealership, and went to DriveTime on West Colonial. With in 2 hours I had a 2017 Kia soul, with a rearview camera (the only thing I really wanted), and payments in my budget, keys in hand. I am sure other Kia dealerships may be nice, but please at all cost avoid this one.

Since it ran perfect, those few flaws didn't bother me. Unfortunately, due to income loss, I had to return the car to them. I expected to pay no more than $2,000.00 to them after they auctioned the car since I only kept the car but a few months. They finance company, BridgeCrest, came back saying I owed them $12,000.00. No Way! Since I didn't agree to pay that large amount, they contacted my insurance company and "claimed" that I caused the dent in the bumper. Same dent from when I initially purchased the vehicle. Here's the real catch. They made this claim 8 months AFTER I voluntarily returned the car to them. If this claim was true, should they not have made this claim upon inspection of the vehicle when I personally returned it? They're just scammers.

I got a tentative offer prior to coming in on both which 1 sold at that price but the other went down $500 when I got there citing a minor accident on the report which they new about prior to coming in as they ran the carfax report to make the tentative offer. However, we talked them up a bit and they threw in a tank of gas for our current vehicle. The buying experience didn't go as well for 2 reasons 1) very low inventory so not much to pick from 2) the truck I did find had dealer add-ons such as running boards, paint protection and nitro in the tires(?). They wouldn't move on removing these items so that ended the deal for me. My understanding is this dealer try's to work with folks with any income level to get you the vehicle you need. Didn't work out for my but maybe you'll have better luck. 3 stars is the best and worst I can give.

I would give AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial in Orlando zero stars if I could…read more I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership because it was advertised and sold as an AutoNation Certified vehicle with a 90-day/4,000-mile Certified warranty. I also purchased AutoNation's extended warranty because I believed AutoNation stood behind the vehicles it sells. Almost immediately after buying the Jeep, it began having intermittent starting issues. We mentioned concerns about how it drove, but we were assured everything was fine. Then, only about a month after purchase, the Jeep completely lost all electrical power while I was driving, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road at night. It had to be towed. The diagnosis was that the Jeep's primary control module (the vehicle's computer or "brain") had failed. This wasn't a flat tire or normal maintenance item--it was a major electrical failure on a vehicle that had just been sold as "Certified." What disappointed me even more was the response from the selling dealership. When I called AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial hoping they would stand behind the vehicle they had certified, I was essentially told they weren't going to do anything and wished "good luck." What's the point of paying extra for a Certified vehicle if the dealer refuses to take responsibility when a serious problem appears almost immediately after the sale? I expected AutoNation to stand behind its Certified program. Instead, I was left stranded, bounced between dealerships, dealing with delays, confusion over warranty coverage, and a complete lack of concern from the dealership that sold me the vehicle. I hope AutoNation Corporate steps in and makes this right, because my experience with AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial has completely destroyed my confidence in both the dealership and the AutoNation Certified program.

The sales staff was rude and hostile, they do not care about false advertising. They stopped answering my questions on the phone and went silent for over 5 minutes wasting my time.
