They come each week and do a quick and great job mowing and cleaing up wherever needed. At the end of the summer, the guys even helped move my parents patio furniture down to the basement for the winter for them. I wanted an all-in-one service that would add topsoil, level it out, kill the weeds with something ecofriendly (not Roundup), fertilize, seed it and add straw and compost. After striking out with various lawn services that wouldn't do all I wanted, couldn't accommodate me in their schedule or couldn't deliver on their promises, I found Teed & Brown. I couldn't ask for a better experience! After a personal visit from the owner, Peter Brown, a professional team arrived a week later with several trucks and systematically took care of everything--spraying for weeds without using 2,4D, fertilizing, breaking up the compacted earth with a Harley rake, bringing in a dump truck of topsoil, leveling the lawn, scattering grass seed, straw and compost. Two weeks later they came back with more weed killer and fertilizer and overseeded the bare spots. After watering every day for a month my lawn looks amazing! Thank you Harold Barnes for a huge job well done!…read more Our story: We bought our house over a year ago and it's taken us time to get organized with all of its projects so we can put it back to its original condition so it's maintained. We contacted Harold in August to come over to our house for an over view of our stone back patio that needed re-grouted along with the outside fire place and our drive way stone wall need re grouted/repair. We also talked to him about getting our drive way sealed and pavers put down in a new patio area on our property. He was able to get back to us right a way on an estimate of the whole job. Please note this is a huge job that would take several weeks. We were able to get schedule for the month of Sept and it was all complete (the drive way sealed last as they exited last). We feel Harold's cost was reasonable. He took the time to show us issues that required repair. He answered any questions we had and concerns. His team was friendly, always on time and finished a job well done. Most of all, they respected our home as if it were theirs. They took the time to clean up after themselves every day and even in the end they made sure everything (patio furniture and trash in the can) was put right back into place. That means a lot to us because we love our home here in Stamford CT! What a pleasure having them over 6 days a week for several straight weeks. Everything went smooth and it was a job well done!
