Doctor Accord has always taken time to build a relationship with our children and stresses the importance of oral hygiene in a fun and relaxed environment. It is obvious that she could take twice as many patients during the day but chooses not to to provide a higher standard of care. We have always had an exceptional experience with all of the staff at her practice. On top of that her place is beautifully done in the theme of the derby and Louisville! Looking at the other reviews makes me wonder about how absurd people are - if people can't keep track of their own appointments and get charged that is their own fault - it is clearly disclosed. If people don't realize that a doctor can run behind and there is the occasional wait then what kind of rushed care are they expecting? Dr. Accord recently spent additional time with a new member of our family carefully explaining to him all aspects of his dental care and reduced his stress about his visit. I'm sure this made her run a little behind, but I appreciate the standard of care and that we weren't rushed. The ladies in the front saved is big bucks when they called another practice and got scans sent over so new xrays didn't have to be ordered! This time and effort was not unnoticed!

I called and cancelled and was charged for cancellation of a surgery appointment. It's been over a year since this incident and my daughter (now almost 6) is traumatized. I am appalled at the positive reviews when our experience was borderline abusive. I feel like I failed my daughter this day and I am ashamed I didn't step in and stop the doctor from forcing my terrified daughter down and they tried to sedate her.

However, he knows about my son's reticence at the dentist and wants to avoid making him feel more scared. So instead he suggested we engage in watchful waiting of the cavity to give my son more time to become comfortable. I can't express how at ease Dr. Dotsey makes me feel. His obvious concern not only for my son's teeth, but also for his feelings and comfort level is a credit to both him and the practice. We've been patients for 2+ years and will be for quite a while longer.

I was able to easily get an appointment when I called. And then I was called back without much wait on the day of my visit. Dr. Moldoveanu was quick and efficient when cleaning my teeth and gave me great recommendations on some new mouthwash to try. I also enjoyed talking to him about his kids and my own during the visit. When we walked in, the receptionist, Regina, immediately greeted us and got us settled in. The waiting room had an aquarium and plenty of books to read to keep my kid occupied. The dental hygienist, Reeshaw, did an AMAZING job with my kid. She explained everything she was about to do before she did it so there were no surprises. She told me that since this is the first visit, the goal is to leave with a positive experience for my kid. They were able to do x rays and a full cleaning with no issues or episodes! I cannot express enough how well Reeshaw was with my child. She was patient, gentle and kind. After the cleaning, Dr. Haska came in. She also explained what she was going to do before she did it. My kid never seemed upset or surprised with what they were doing because of how well they explained the process and showed the instruments before using them. Dr. Haska did a great job explaining any concerning areas for my child and a treatment plan for it. It was about a forty minute drive for us to get there but I'll do it every time if it means my child will be getting the exceptional care like he did!

First I feel like I was misinformed regarding which option to choose for the extraction. Having laughing gas or nitros for your child is NOT equivalent to being "put to sleep". They will say you have an option but for an extraction there should really be NO option using Nitros. My daughter's experience was terrible! She screamed and seemed to feel everything. I was told it's because the tooth was not loose yet which is a bunch of BS. I am livid!!! The experience traumatized me as a spectator so I can't imagine what my 7 year old is feeling.

As someone who had braces early in life, probably too early, my teeth have changed since the removal of my braces due to breaking and then losing my permanent retainer as well as the late arrival of wisdom teeth with subsequent shifting. My dental insurance finally removed the age restriction for orthodontia and I jumped at the opportunity to be evaluated by a handful of places around town to gauge my estimated length of treatment as well as treatment cost. After being evaluated by 2 other places I decided to look for someone who specialized in orthodontia vs a general practitioner. I found their office information through the Invisalign website and scheduled an appointment after seeing they had iTeo scanning - goodbye nasty impressions! I arrived to my appointment, walked upstairs and noticed something different....there were significantly more adults than kids in the waiting room, there wasn't obnoxious cartoons blaring in the background, and the overall feel was welcoming/warm but professional. My other experiences did not bode as well since I was the adult in a kid world with bright neon furniture and plastic orthodontia toys/decor surrounding me. I noticed there was a check in screen asking for fingerprint/name so I created my account and signed in. The screen prompted me to brush my teeth and have as seat (smart on the docs part, I can't imagine what they see). During this check-in process the staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. The asked if I had brushed my teeth and if not showed me where the "station" was located. They provide floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste and mouth rinse so that if you are coming from work/school you can get the most out of your appointment by having a clean work surface - very much appreciated but I came prepared with squeaky clean teeth. I was taken back to a room, before my appointment time, asked what my concerns were, preference on braces type, general questions regarding treatments as well as previous work I had performed. From there X-rays and numerous photos were taken with and without my mouth open - super attractive BTW lol. I was taken back to the room and greeted by Dr. Goldberg. He reviewed my scans/pictures and then held a frank discussion of what could and could not be done with Invisalign, treatment time lines as well as general tips for when I return to my dentist (i.e. dental dams needing to be used with silver fillings as well as leaving them in until they NEED to be replaced). I truly appreciated the time he took to address my concerns as well as his detailed plan to correct the shifting that occurred. The other selling point he mentioned was that they (the office) realize people don't have time for appointments weekly/biweekly so they actually send you home with 8-12 weeks work of trays to replace weekly so that your treatment stays on course with minimal time off from work which is a huge bonus. I cannot stress enough how nice and engaging the employees are here. It shows how much they love working in that environment and with one another. I mentioned this to both the assistant and the doctor as it was a wee bit eerie, other offices should take note! I will definitely be getting my work done here once my waiting period is over for the treatment convenience, competitive pricing with significantly better equipment than other locations, the cleanliness of the location and of course the courteous employees!
