Something's Rotten in the State of Depew! I cant say enough about Rotten Jack's Creep Shack. They have all sorts of scary stuff in there. I took the kids' in there once and hid around the corner. One cried after I threw a severed heead at her, but she stopped once I yelled at her to stop. Religious people should probably avoid it because it can be unsettling, but I love it! They also have some sexy costumes in there, like a sexy nurse, a sexy nun, and a sexy cop. But most of them are bloody, like a bloody nurse, a bloody nun and a bloody hooker. (You thought I was gonna say, cop, didnt you?) I thought the guy working there was nice and not rotten at all. Maybe he wasnt Jack? Pros: all sort of cool scary things! Rotten Jack's is a very unique store. I became aware of them through their commercials shown during Off Beat Cinema. This is not simply a Halloween store. They carry a lot of stuff for the horror enthusiast. People always ask me where I found my Fright Night tee shirt. Rotten Jack's offers an extensive collection of horror tees. If you like an obscure horror movie, Rotten Jack's is the place to go. You'll probably be able to find merchandise for it. You can even find MacFarlane's Movie Maniacs or their Classic Horror Exclusive Action Figures. You can look for Evil Dead toys or Donnnie Darko merchandise. They also have a lot for the Nightmare Before Christmas. Oh - and scary teddy bears. You can always browse their website online before you go. I ordered a Holloween prop online from RottenJack, and I have no idea when I will I ever see it, or IF I will ever see it. First off, they did not send me an email with an order number or anything in which I can track the item, and there is no record of my order on their site, even when I log back into my account. They did make sure to take my money out of my account however. Still, no item has ever arrived at my house. I tried emailing them, but the emails don't go through...Their account appears to not be set up. I tried calling the phone number they provide on the website, but the mailbox is full, and no one ever picks up. It doesn't even ring. Worse still, there isn't a standard phone message to let you know that you reached a real business, there is just this guy talking to a girl in the room about how the phone has flashing lights when you shake it? For a second, I actually thought that maybe someone picked up the phone, I started saying " Hello! Hello! is anybody there?" but no luck, the robotic disembodied female phone machine voice just pops on and tells you that their mailbox is full and can not take any messages. So basically you have a company that takes your money, but does not provide any record of your order, or an email letting you know that your order has in fact been placed. Then they give you a contact number and email account, neither of which reaches an actual person. In conclusion, I have paid over $40 not just for nothing, but for the dissapointment of never getting my item or knowing if I will ever get it....I find this so completely lame and sketchy that I think I might have to get a whole new bank card just to protect myself....If they can take your money and not send you anything, I am sure stealing from you in other ways is not beneath them. First I must say THANK YOU to Paul A. for his review on Rotten Jack's Creep Shack on 12/29/2010 if not for Paul's review WARNING I would also had been SCAMMED by Rotten Jack's the reason being is that from the year 2010 from when Paul A. had called Rotten Jacks an got a female & male voice talking about shaking their phone and also that there is still no available space to leave a message and now it is 8 YEARS LATER!!!!!!!!! and nothing has changed should tell EVERBODY who comes in CONTACT with Rotten Jack's ONLINE STAY AWAY they are FRAUDLENT!!!!!! I found out myself just by calling the number that is posted on YELP before I was going to place an order that Rotten Jack's is not SMART & HONEST BUSINESS so I would lastly say too ROTTEN JACK'S CREEPER SHACK which the first word of your business name perfectly states what you really are DESERVES NO STAR RATINGS...
