Good atmosphere, kind of retro. Salami-cheese-toast was like homemade, very tasty. Good tee (in the teapot). Music is not too loud, so it's possible to talk to those who you come with. Nice host. Really nice cozy place. read more

Bunca doesn't have wifi, but they do have a lovely sitting area in the back that wasn't too crowded when I was there. I got a flat white here and it came in one of the most beautiful cups I have ever seen. It kind of made my day (that and the great taste of the coffee). My only complaint about this place is its lack of wifi. I understand why cafes often do this, but as a person who works from cafes, it is difficult for me to settle in and visit cafes without wifi frequently. In an area like WBP though, it is probably best to not offer wifi as they can keep business and seats turning over more frequently. Nevertheless, I will be back here often every time I am in the area. They take pride in their coffee and customer service and places like this are not easy to come by.

Tried scrambled eggs with tomato and was surprised at how red they came out - it doesn't look great but it tasted good. They have two kinds of pasta too, if you're running the marathon tomorrow ; ) but skip the organic, therefore supposedly better, Gorilla Tea - not that great. It would've been nice if they'd had brown sugar for the tea instead of white, and if they would've offered milk with it instead of having to chase someone down for it; but this is just nitpicking and if I lived here I'd probably go back again. Nice colorful local art on the walls!!

So is it as it says on the tin.... The Place To Be!?…read more Well I would not 100% agree with that, but it is a pretty good place to spend an hour or two. If your in Frankfurt and fancy glass of vino or a quick pint then I reckon this should be on your list. It's got a total Berlin bar vibe to it. Very laid back and quirky looking with a mish mash of chairs and decor. It's almost got a relaxed Caribbean feel too it in my opinion. Run down shabby chic. The bar dude was friendly and helpful. The drinks were cheap as chips and they seemed to do food, (big bowls of soup appeared) but I did not try it. Good "hipster" bar, totally different from the traditional huge German beer halls in every way possible. You should check it out for sure. The Riesling was very good if you fancy a glass of white wine.
