Since my wife and son have recently had great results and experiences at Ivy Rehab in Malvern, I decided to go there, I live 1 1/2 miles away in Malvern. I am very pleased with the results so far. After 4 weeks of therapy my pain has been lessened and I am building muscle strength in my core. My therapist, Lindsay Jones, has developed a program specifically for me and also massages the exact spots that are very sensitive and gently works the kinks out and stretches my spine to finish off the session. I go 3 times/week and look forward to each session. They are really helping me lessen my pain and rebuilding muscles that have suffered from decades of disuse.

The staffs are wonderful and caring. They taught us different exercises to do at home. Locations is easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the back. They are, by far, the most thorough and beneficial physical therapy I have ever had. In the past, with other pt, I wasn't really feeling it and never continued. With Andrew and Brian, I couldn't wait for my next appt to see how much progress I was making. Andrew rehabbed my broken ankle to near 100%. I now have a script for core and other muscles that have weakened from lack of use due to the ankle injury. I know I will be well cared for and everything I say will be heard and taken seriously. After a warm up on the stationary bike, I casually said I had a headache. I was surprised when Andrew asked me why I had a headache. For some reason I said, "I don't know... high blood pressure?" I didn't have a high blood pressure diagnosis at that point so I don't know why I said that. Andrew put a BP cuff on me and sure enough my blood pressure was very high. I am now under my doctor's care and monitoring my blood pressure regularly.

The Media office referred me to the Glen Mills office and I was nervous to be honest because I was personally comfortable at the Media location and knew all of the therapists there and had a good relationship. I was able to get an appointment right away and was scheduled to see Greg the Clinic Director. From my initial appointment to my current appointments Greg is always with me during my sessions and always making sure that I'm performing my exercises correctly. If you ever have a question as to why you're doing something or how to better what you have been doing, he's always with instruction and help. He's incredibly personable and intelligent and I feel extremely confident in my health with him. Rae at the front desk is amazing and already has your schedule done for you so you don't have to worry about making sure to get into your time slot. Matthew is also great and is always ready to greet you! I would absolutely recommend this company and location - they truly care about their clients and use all available resources in order to get you back to tip top shape.

Once you are done you leave without any manipulation of the muscles in injured area. No measurement of progress. Records of prior apts seem sketchy as the next apt feels like the first one. Can you please explain to me why…read morewhen I gave the rehab a score of two it said the survey was no longer available, and yet when I pretended to start over and put in a nine, the survey automatically showed up? I decided to try once again, and this time rated the facility of three and again the next page said the survey is no longer available. Clearly they are only allowing people with positive scores to complete the survey? I feel it is very important that I complete the survey due to my current circumstance. On my last visit, I had a feeling something was not right and therefore did not schedule any subsequent visits. The next morning when I woke up, I had a pain in my knee that I have never had. Actually, I've never had knee pain in 25 years!! We went on a cruise next week and then knee pain did not subside at all! It definitely affected our week :(. When we came home, the knee pain continued, and I was hoping that with time it would be OK. I finally went to the Rothman urgent care yesterday since it was not healing on its own. After seeing the swelling, the doctor said that it had to be drained which he did. I asked him if the amount of fluid would be considered a lot, average or minimal. He kind of chuckled and answered it was a lot of fluid with emphasis on the words a lot! The doctor then began to examine my knee and said that it is a meniscus tear. I had to go back to the doctor at Rothman Institute three days later to have the knee drained again, and I am now on crutches and in a brace with a diagnosis of stress fracture in my tibia and a complex meniscus tear. I did reach out to Ivy rehab with this information and they have not bothered to answer my email. Because I have MS and my activities and exercise are already limited, there is really no other explanation for any of this except PT.

Jeff gives one on one time with you. The atmosphere is pleasant, the facility sparkling clean. Jeff's physical therapy and his prescribed exercise program got me back after both hip surgeries, and prevented knee surgery. Ton, who manages the front desk, greets you with a warm smile every time you walk in. He is always so helpful and pleasant.
