I have been here at least 5 times in the last 4 years. I think I first stumbled upon it right…read morebefore the whole Covid mess started. During Covid they provided excellent to go service including the option of having a beer to drink outside while you were waiting for your food to be prepared. They used to have a "spicy" pretty cat that sat at the bar. I haven't seen him/her the last few visits. I hope it's still alive and hope it's had a nail trim. I've only had their schnitzels and I keep meaning to try their fish and chips or club sandwich but I just love their schnitzel so much I can't help but order it every time. They have at least 12 different variations starting with your meat choice being pork or chicken and then all the different sauces or toppings. Standard schnitzel dinner comes with a nice side salad & fries. You have the option of upgrading your fries to mashed potatoes, baked potato, potato salad, sweet potatoes or rosti. I greatly prefer mashed potatoes with my schnitzel. Every single server I have encountered here has been professional & lovely. Dining inside on colder days is cozy. Some of the tables are a little close together though. There's also a good amount of outdoor seating available. If I had to complain about anything I would say they should restrict smokers from sitting near the front door. They might have well have been sitting inside the restaurant smoking.

When in Germany. Drink German beer. Enjoying some sips in this wonderful establishment. Chill…read morewhiskey bar vibe.

We came to this location in the early summer for German food and German beer. Because the weather…read morewas nice, they were primarily seating people outside. We sat in the shadow of the cathedral. The food was sufficiently German, on par with German food I've had elsewhere. Lots of meat, lots of mushrooms. The beer was Paulaner; we tried other flavors of this typical beer. It seemed like most of the other customers were also tourists, so they're probably used to international visitors at this location. Come here when you're in Frankfurt for a typical beer garden experience.

Rather than stare into the abyss of Gate Z-97, I did what any reasonable adult would do: I escaped on a train into town. Best decision of the trip. This place was an absolute oasis. Staff was warm, friendly, and spoke English (thank you, global civilization). Beer was exactly as advertised -- cold, honest, and doing the Lord's work. Food was excellent and arrived faster than my flight did. The place was immaculately clean, which I noticed immediately because that's what we do now. Even the bathrooms downstairs were spotless -- a bold move and one they pulled off flawlessly. If you're stuck in Frankfurt with a long layover, don't panic. Get on the train. Come here. Have a beer. Eat well. Remember why traveling used to be fun before airlines ruined it. Highly recommend. Would delay my flight again (not really, but you get the idea).
