I do go when it's a little quieter as my girl does like to play but can be reactive and dominate. There unfortunately, isn't a lot of availability and cost of private ones. She is more reactive on leash than without. It does have a little yard of agility equipment-- do be careful and look for sharp edges as some of it is left over wood and scrap metal. A lot of it is also kinda high. But my girl likes the smaller hoops and the tunnel. A-frame is too steep and high.

A separate park for smaller dogs - mowed, fenced and benches to relax in - tress for shade, it's an ideal spot. The larger dog off-leash area is also fenced, and connected to the small dog space so they can still see eachother and greet through the chainlink. There is 2-3x the room to run around for the larger dogs, but we ended up taking our beagles to the small-dog area so we could work on recall training without distraction of the other dogs making us run so far to get them back ;-) It was windy and the weather was spotty, but it was still a busy place with folks & dogs coming and going while we were there. Do bring some mosquito spray and a hat. Definitely a great spot to locate it right outside of an RV park, and near the main road. When in the area, we'll be back to visit.

Such a quiet spot on the weekend when we visited! Marsh birds, and only one other couple and their dogs, although there were 4 vehicles... The park was quite clean and well picked up, although we always pick up trash etc when we go to a park and try to leave it cleaner than when we came. Only picked up 4 petrified poops, and a small trash bag of plastics and cigarette butts. Smoking in dry grass?! Come on folks. And you brought it in, you carry out your butts?! The walking areas are grassed, mowed & level, although it is a marshland, so there are some areas subject to mud, soft spots etc. Lots of variety of grasses, low shrubs and reefs/water for the pups to sniff and explore. It is not very treed, so if sun is your nemesis, wear a hat if it's sunny out. A nice loop, in a little valley, but it was a calm day so can't say if the wind gets going. It is fenced on 3 sides, but not designed as an off leash park, definitely not secure. There are garbage bins, benches, picnic tables and a poop bag dispenser sponsored by Bone & Biscuit at the parking area, but nothing around the far side of the pond, so be prepared. There are no human toilet facilities, (at least in April 2021 when we visited), again, be prepared. Look forward to visiting next time we are in the area.

They have 2 sections: the main section and the small dogs section. When we attended most dogs were in the main section but there was one or two dogs in the small dog area. It is nice to have that because sometimes bringing a small dog to a dog park can be quite stressful for their owners. The added sense of safety is a nice thing to have. Both sections have some dog agility equipment but the main section has more stuff and larger pieces. It isn't a huge park but it is a great neighbourhood amenity for those people in the area. Once this neighbourhood is built out it will be interesting to see how popular the park is.

The pond with its low banks allow the dogs to jump in and cool off or chase their favourite toy or a stick. There are plenty of garbage bins and poop bag stations, no excuse to pick up after your dog. Fresh air, benches, big area, friendly people. We love it and look forward to be coming here often. There is plenty of parking available. The dog park is located at 54310 - RR231, just off of Pointe Aux Pins Road and adjacent to the Dow Centennial Fields.

Fully fenced with a double gated entry, it's a great open grassy space with a section of trees and shrubs. The walking area is mowed, with a row of light posts down the centre of the park. Lots of benches around the perimeter and it's fairly level landscape make it accessible. There is no paved path IN the off-leash area though, so if you have wheels you will need to come when it's dry and firm. Outside the park is an extensive network of wide asphalt paths for walking and wheeling. Bone & Biscuit sponsors this park and there is lighting as well as several dog bag dispensers at locations near each entrance to the park if you forget yours. I always need an extra or two to pick up the stray poops and some garbage to pick up we find while in the park. Busy park - lots of folks, families and dogs but didn't feel at all crowded. The pup had a great run playing with the other dogs. A great stop for us when we are in the area.

There is a porta-potty for the human waste at the parking area. The parking lot is one-way traffic. Depending on the time you arrive, it can be full. Please plan accordingly. LEASH YOUR DOGS before you open the car door!! in the parking lot! We had a close encounter with an owner of two Yorkies and a Rottweiler all running loose. The Rottweiler was almost hit twice by running like a loon in the moving cars.

This is the largest spray park I've ever been too. There are always a lot of people there, but it hasn't been over crowded. Everything is clean and well taken care of as well. The parking lot is large and is very accommodating. There is a dry park just passed the spray park as well for kids to go play in while they are there as well. A definite must if you live in spruce grove or even the west side of Edmonton.
