From the moment we stepped through the door, it was evident that this was not just a daycare, but a loving and nurturing environment for children. We have been with Ms. Risa for over a year and my kids have learned so much and have had great interactions with the other kids. She is diligent on working with the older kids on their school work. She was a teacher before taking on running a day care which shows. What sets this daycare apart is the genuine affection and attention Ms. Risa showers upon each child. It's heartwarming to see the bond she's formed with my little ones, providing not just care, but also emotional support and encouragement. My children have flourished under Ms. Risa's guidance, and I am forever grateful for the positive impact she's had on our family.

They do the cutest crafts; and my daughter has learned so much. Risa is really good with communicating any concerns or questions, and even sends pictures. I know every morning, when I drop my daughter off, that she is in good hands. She tells me all the time that she wants to see her friends and "my Risa". I knew as soon as we walked through her front door two years ago, that this was it.

I came across this daycare pure by accident. My son was supposed to go to another daycare but it…read morefell through at the very last minute. So I had to find a daycare in one week. I went through 13 daycares! And Daycare of the Stars was the last one that I visited (luckily). The very first thing that really hit me when I got inside the house was how clean, bright and neatly organized the place was, and it smelled soooo fresh. It looked exactly like a daycare was supposed to look. When I talked to Moshi I got a good feeling about her, she seemed very organized, she knows what she is doing and she's taking it very seriously. No matter how many kids you have and how many times you have done it, taking your child to a daycare for the first time is always nerve racking. When I picked my son up on the first day, he was very happy. On the next day he was happy as well to go back. Moshi works really hard to take care of the kids, to teach them things, read books, and etc. My son learns something new every day, and he loves books. Moshi sends an email at the end of the day, everyday, it's like a report about how long your child napped, what the breakfast/lunch/dinner was, how many soiled diapers. She sends pictures and short videos from time to time which is nice too, I don't feel completely bad of missing things with my little one. I feel very happy that my son goes to this daycare. I know my son is in good hands and very well taken care of. I highly recommend this daycare!

She sends us pictures and videos throughout the day, which is also great! She cooks delicious food for the kids and her house is always spotlessly clean. When the weather permits, she takes the kids out to the backyard to play, and she keeps the yard very clean as well. Anyone looking for a daycare I would recommend you take them here. I have family that could watch our son for us, but seeing how happy my son is when he's here makes us so happy. Thank you, Moshi, we are so happy we found your daycare!

Both of my girls attended this preschool, and I cannot say enough great things about our experience here. The teachers are incredibly sweet, caring and committed to their students' early development. Their dedication to teaching is clear - when my oldest daughter started Kindergarten, her teacher specifically noted how academically and socially advanced she was, directly crediting how well her preschool had prepared her. As a parent, there is no greater feeling than being able to drop your kids off every morning with complete peace of mind. I never had to worry because I knew my girls were in the best of hands, being loved, supported and receiving a fantastic early education. Thank you, Sunshine House Oakley, for giving my daughters such a wonderful foundation!

They truly take the time to understand each child individually and support them through every stage--from the toddler years through becoming more expressive and independent. As a first time, single, working Mom the thought of a stranger caring for my baby is terrifying, but unfortunately necessary. Michelle is so warm and friendly and honestly she feels like family. After about a week my daughter warmed up to her and loves attending. With a strenuous commute Michelle's hours are early and convenient; the facility is always extremely neat and clean, not allot of traffic in and out, and she keeps the kids entertained with fun educational interactive activities. Her communication is great, she always responds to any questions or concerns I have promptly & she even sends me pictures throughout the day to help with my separation anxiety. Lol She's helping with potty training and winging my little on off her passy. It brings me so much peace and comfort knowing my baby is in good hands with Michelle. I've tried other facilities with more kids and I feel like she was always sick, I would pick her up with a runny crusty nose, soiled diaper and crazy hair all of the time. With Michelle it seems like there is more structure, my child is always well kept and she is learning allot. She can almost sing her ABC's all by herself at 22 months!

The director hadn't told her, because it's a "private matter" and "not her business". Our family is not a secret. * came home today with two Father's Day crafts. This is very disappointing, as I thought we made it clear that she does not have a father, and instead has two moms.  It seems like it would have been a simple change to write/print Mama instead of dad on the inside/outside of the card, and at the bottom of the tool chest, and the graphic could have been left off.  If no one knew what name to use, Mom would have worked, or you could have asked us.  This especially bothers me because when our older child went to a religious preschool, they still ensured that they used the correct name on these types of items.  This is not only an issue because she has two moms. What would be done if the child had a single mother by choice, or if their father had passed away?
