I want to be very honest with our feedback for the benefit of moms/dads that would come across this…read moreYelp page as we also relied on reviews when we were looking for a daycare 8 months ago. Teacher Sheila runs this place and she is truly exceptional. She's very organized, patient and attentive. You could also tell that she is compliant to the state regulations and makes sure her staff is vetted, which puts our minds at ease. They all seem to be very nurturing and genuinely care about the kids' individual needs. When my daughter was new, they gave her enough time until she was fully adjusted to their structure. When we had a baby back in November and my toddler started acting out --- they were extra patient with her, held her when she cried until she was back to her normal bubbly self. When another kid was acting out and accidentally scratched our daughter's face, she informed us immediately and provided the necessary care for our daughter. The facility is always clean with appropriate safety measures. They do a lot of engaging, age-appropriate activities for the kids, with time indoors (storytime, crats, etc) and outdoors too (outside play) when the weather permits. Teacher Sheila maintains good communication with the parents, consistently providing updates and sending pictures around afternoon. When I pick up my daughter, she seems to be always happy, showing us whatever art work they did for the day. Meals and learning materials are all provided for, that truly makes it convenient for us busy parents. This is my child's second daycare and we feel that our child is getting high quality care from Teacher Sheila, Ms. Faye and Ms. Susan. The only con I could think of, and this is very minor, is there is a bit of a wait time when parents ring the door to pick up the kids. I hope they will let the parents in first before prepping the kids so we don't have to wait outside in the cold or the hot summer sun :) Overall, we have a very positive experience and we highly recommend this daycare. I would give them 10 stars if we could.

Ms. Sheila along with Ms. Susan and Ms. Faye were so wonderful not only to my little boy Atlas but to all the kids that were under their care. Ms. Sheila's communication is excellent and the bond that she and Atlas developed is unremarkable. This was Atlas's first time in daycare and we thought he would hate it but he LOVED it. With Ms. Sheila's attentive care and lessons that she shared with Atlas and the kids, he would also share it with us at home. To Ms. Sheila, Atlas always brings up his memories with you and always tells us that you're his favorite teacher! Thank you so much again!

I love all the family events. I also enjoy the teachers and director Ms. Abi. My daughter is now starting the PreK class room which I am excited to see how much more she learns. I would recommend this school to anyone but especially if you want teachers who are passionate and patient.

My 2-year-old previously attended Kiddie Academy, and unfortunately our experience was deeply…read moredisappointing and emotionally distressing. From the beginning, I received daily phone calls about my child's behavior. Instead of partnering with us or offering constructive support, the communication felt negative, with my child repeatedly being labeled as "bad." At just 2 years old, this was extremely concerning. What ultimately crossed the line was when the center contacted my child's father and informed us that our child was not welcome to return due to his behavior, without attempting a collaborative plan or meaningful intervention. To make matters worse, my child once came home with a chipped front tooth. When I asked what had happened, I was told they would get back to me. The response I eventually received was simply that "he falls a lot," with no incident report or clear explanation. As a parent, this was unacceptable. After leaving Kiddie Academy, we enrolled our child elsewhere, where he immediately began thriving. That center provided exactly what he needed patience, structure, and understanding and even recommended a smaller childcare setting, which made a world of difference. This confirmed that the issue was not my child, but the environment. I cannot fully express the emotional toll this placement took on me as a mother. I struggled to focus at work and was constantly worried about my child's well-being while he was in their care. I strongly encourage parents to ask detailed questions about how behavioral concerns and injuries are handled, and how communication with families is prioritized, before enrolling their children here. If i could rate no starts i would.

Absolutely Exceptional - More Than Just a School…read more Year after year, this Montessori school continues to amaze our family. It is rare to find a place that balances rigorous academic excellence with such a genuine focus on character development and respect. We have watched our youngest (now 4) blossom here over the last two years. The growth in his education level is nothing short of outstanding--he is learning concepts I wouldn't have expected at his age, yet he is doing it with joy and curiosity. But beyond the academics, what impresses me most is the school's commitment to constantly bringing in new activities and enhancing the learning environment. They never settle; they are always finding ways to be better. A few amazing days of the year for you and the family: All the Holidays - The school ensures we celebrate holidays from across all cultures and life. Fathers' Night: An amazing way to connect their children with their fathers. One of the best moments I look forward to every year. I Mother Tea Time: Another amazing experience for the children to spend some quality academic and fun time with their moms. This standard of excellence isn't limited to just one teacher; it is consistent across the board. Every staff member, at every level, cares deeply about these children. If you are looking for a place that will truly invest in your child's future, this is it. We couldn't be happier.

Would give more stars if I could!…read more My son has been going to Kiddie Academy since 2020, and we've had a wonderful experience. One of the biggest reasons is the excellent learning curriculum, the care and attentiveness of the teachers and staff, and the fact that both my kids love going there, learn so much, and truly enjoy their time. We always feel that they're safe and well cared for. My son is especially fond of Miss Alina -- she's been so kind, caring, and supportive throughout his time there. When it was time for him to leave for kindergarten, he was genuinely sad because Miss Alina was his favorite. Kiddie Academy has been a consistent, nurturing place for my family, and I'm so grateful for the amazing staff who make it feel like a second home. Highly recommend!

My son used to attend another daycare in Mountain View, which we all absolutely loved, but we had…read moreto leave due to relocating. He started at Kiddie Academy Brentwood when he turned four and attended for about five months. His teacher was Ms. Alaina. Pros * You need your own login to enter the school. * All food is provided (though it's not exactly "free," considering we were paying almost $100 a day). * At drop-off, all the teachers would always say good morning to my son. I honestly wished one of those teachers had been his teacher. * My son loved playing with his friends and formed very close bonds with a few of the kids. * He learned how to write most letters and started learning addition. Cons * My son often seemed sad in the mornings when I helped him put his shoes on. He asked for "only easy shoes" because during nap time, they take their shoes off, and Ms. Alaina would refuse to help him put them back on. My son words were "Ms. Alaina said to put them on myself and doesn't want to help me". What parent would have enjoyed listening to that? So then I asked him more questions about this and he said his friend would help him put his shoes on. This made me want to cry because how sweet of his friend to try to help. From there on out, my son only took "easy shoes" (shoes with no shoelaces). Another time, I picked him up and his shoelaces were completely untied. He was literally dragging his feet. I asked the teacher to help him next time, and she said she hadn't noticed. It's hard to believe a child dragging his feet could go unnoticed. * They have a parent app, but the teacher wouldn't update it until the end of the day, which defeated the purpose of wanting updates while I was away at work. * Ms. Alaina had Trump stickers all over her water bottle. (I guess this might be a pro for Trump supporters.) Regardless of political affiliation, a teacher should never display political messaging in the classroom. One time, my son saw a picture of Trump and said with excitement, "It's the guy from school." Why are they talking about Trump at school? * At pick-up, Ms. Alaina never gave me updates on how my son's day went. His previous school always did, so maybe it's just not standard practice here? * One time I picked him up and he had red all over his face. I panicked, thinking it was a nosebleed, but Ms. Alaina said it was frosting from cupcakes they had during snack time. Snack time is at 3pm and I picked him up at 5pm, you would've thought between those two hours she could've told him to go wipe his face. It's literally common sense to wipe a child's messy face. * The classroom had a 1:12 teacher-to-student ratio. For the amount of money parents are paying, I feel that the school could have added another teacher. I guess that helps explain why Ms. Alaina wasn't as attentive as I had hoped. * Again, Ms. Alaina being a Trump supporter. Imagine supporting a president who has openly discussed dismantling parts of the education system while working as a teacher? Make it make sense. Overall, these are the reasons why I feel this school deserves only two stars. Maybe it would have been more if my son's teacher had been kinder and more nurturing.
