I had them review my existing site to tell me where it rated in searches at the time. They had a hard time finding it at all! I had a few pages designed and they met me half way with an extremely affordable option. They linked my site up with social media sources and with the search engines. The whole site flows so much better since they reworked it. I like that I was able to make the aesthetic design choices that are so important to me while trusting them to link it all together. You can see what they set up for me a couple of years ago here: www.nativerootdesigns.com I still have them update the site once or twice a year. They are both very professional and easy going. Ron McCabe and Everbearing Services LLC are one of the worst companies I have ever had the…read moredispleasure of working with. My company hired Ron to manage our Google ad campaign(s) and employed him for just over 1 year. In that time, his work produced zero new clients. After we fired Ron and Everbearing Services, we hired a competent company (Anvil Media) and had immediate results. Ron then added insult to injury when he refused to refund any of the funds that he had been paid (but for which he had provided significantly substandard services). He also refused to release and transfer our website, web hosting account and email services account. Ron then demanded additional money or he would "shut down" our website. Shortly thereafter we filed suit in Multnomah County Circuit Court against Everbearing Services for breach of contract, misrepresentation, injunctive relief and conversion (otherwise known as civil theft). The lawsuit was then resolved. Based upon my experience with Ron and Everbearing Services, I recommend taking your business elsewhere. Again, this was one of the singular worst experiences I've ever had and I strongly recommend staying away from this company and Ron if you value your money, your business and your sanity.

I hired The Portland Company 3 years ago to help me move my domain and then build a functional…read moree-commerce for my boutique. Although the owner is extremely creative and did build a good looking web site, it was never functional or without error. The errors were everything from pictures overlapping, typing that was not in order or for on the screen to boxes that were just not functioning. It was also extremely difficult because as the domain owner, I was not allowed to access all the things with my own site and had to depend on this company to do certain things. The most recent example (and the reason for finally writing a review) is how I took my own domain and built a beautiful and total functional e-commerce myself on Shopify last March but I've been charged $42 every month from Bluehost still. When I reached out to The Portland Company and asked that they please cancel my Bluehost account that they set up, I was literally told to do it myself or I'd be charged as it is "out of scope". The Portland Company set up that account under their own name, emails and passwords. I've had a open ticket to fight this with Bluehost now for 4 months. This is the most perfect example of how my entire relationship with The Portland Company has been. Everything that should be a easy fix is dragged out to be the most difficult situation. They will argue, deny, lie and blame shift any responsibility even when the facts are right there. The marketing department at the mall where my business is located wouldn't even work with Spencer because of his confusing, unprofessional and incomplete work. The marketing team at my mall actually gave me a list of other media companies to use instead.

I L.O.V.E. my new website! Not only does it LOOK amazing, but within a day I had my first contact form completed and received 4 leads in about a week (I think I got 4 forms completed in 2 years from my old site). I even booked a new client today! Having a new website is fun, but having a GOOD website is important and having a GREAT website, like I got, makes it worth every penny! The team at Northwest Media Collective each has a role. I had a designer, a developer, a coder all working on it, but most importantly I had an AWESOME Project Manager!!! Katie is the perfect liaison between their team and me (the client with no real understanding of how websites are made). I had a weekly review on the progress and excellent communication in between. My branding is important to me (all the way down to the specific color hue) and Katie was able to communicate that so that I got everything I wanted/expected from the design. There were very few bugs to work out the week prior to the launch and I haven't found any mistakes or issues with the site at all. They are hosting it. They can do SEO. They can even handle my social media posts for me (not doing it yet, but probably soon). If you're considering a new website, don't waste time and money trying to do it yourself or finding some kid that knows how to make a website cheap, call Northwest Media Collective. The investment in a great site should result in a worthwhile return! Mine already has!
