I was in a hurry and needed a reasonably priced fishing pole, and I needed it set up for me. Boy did he come through for me. He showed me the perfect fishing pole for my use and budget, he also attached the sinker and hook and showed me exactly what I needed to purchase, took total 15 minutes and I was on the dock on St. Helena Island casting my line. I wish I would have gotten this young man's name; he was amazing beyond words can say. Now that is customer service!

We found the selection and prices exceptional and plan to visit again when we come back through Beaufort. We found a beautiful brass lamp that has two brass egrets mounted on a cherry wood base. The price was exceptional but we had just arrived and did not want carry it around with us or back to the car. We decided to risk it and hope no one purchased it before we got back from the on-going airshow and festival. On our return we we thrilled to see that it was still there and brought it to the counter for purchase. The owner who check us out was really nice, when we related our story about the lamp and said they would have been happy to put it behind the counter for us as several of their customers had already done. They then told us how they decide they needed something more to do after retiring and decided to open Bay Street Treasures! We had a great experience and highly recommend this shop!

The SECOND one had the exact same problem in the same places. On the 7th they brought us the THIRD one. It looked like a roller coaster. We requested a refund. My friend found a great handbag. I believe some of the items are vintage or repurposed. I love that. Visitors to Beaufort should definitely shop at the lovely local boutique. Locals should make this a go to spot for beautiful additions to their home or wardrobe.
