We decided to try this restaurant for the first time with our family. Parking was easy and conveniently located right in front, which was a great start. The hostess was friendly, and the green room where we were seated was very nice--warm, inviting, and comfortable. My husband ordered the pesto pasta and truly enjoyed it. I ordered the salmon and, since I am gluten-free, requested a gluten-free pasta substitute. Unfortunately, the pasta was very watery and lacked flavor. The salmon itself was dry and could have been much better with a simple lemon caper sauce. The carrot served with the dish was cold, which took away from the overall experience--I would have enjoyed it much more if it had been served hot. Our daughter ordered pizza and she liked it. Overall, while there were some positives, the price felt quite high for the quality of the food we received, which made us question if we would return. read more

Because it being a local restaurant I wanted to give it another try. The first wasn't great. This time it was double bad. Bartender didn't know how to make 3 of 3 drinks ordered. My main chicken dish Farfalle. Was horrible. The chicken was diced up so small, that it was dry with zero flavor , I felt it was left over and microwaved ...did I mention DRY. Pesto was bland, zero flavor. And for a in house chef , why isn't the pasta fresh ? And menu is little options and exactly the same as a year go. Oh and being a coat , it's freezing in there. We were excited to try this place and highly disappointed. Food took over an hour and was either burnt, underdone, or had sat in the warmer for an hour. Had a lovely dinner with my wife this evening. The margarita pizza I had was delicious. Perfectly prepared. I ate the entire pizza myself... my wife enjoyed the burger. Kudos to the chef on my pizza. Ambiance: 4 Warm and inviting, but a little confused due to the general architecture, I think. Food: 4 Some solid dishes, some hit and miss. Room for growth. Service: 4.25 On point. Efficient. Friendly. Not perfectly informed. First of all, I am just so grateful that this place is here and thankful they have opened. They've only been open about a month, and I can attest they deserve lots of good reviews and attention. I would like to offer some creative critique. We arrived at our reservation time on a Friday night at 7:45 at the slightly awkward main entrance. No one greeted us at first and then did not acknowledge that we had a reservation (apparently, we didn't need one). An awkward flashback to the previous ownership. The interior is decorated in a lovely fashion, far better than before, and we sat at what I thought was the best-looking table in the house. The hostess quickly informed us of the specials and informed us that there were some GF options. The congenial server came by right away for some drink orders but wasn't so sure about the GF options. The Cosmo w/Grey Goose was an excellent throwback treat. My wife's Italian Margarita Blanco was very good. Unfortunately, on her second one, they forgot to make it with Blanco. The Mussels, advertised as coming with Chickpeas and tomato broth, were nothing of the sort. Rather, they seemed to come with a thick tomato and pinto bean sauce--no broth. We had to literally pick them up and scoop the mussels out of the shell. I can appreciate some innovation, but this was not it. This was another flashback. The Baby Kale Caesar was very good. My wife's Bolognese special with GF Penne (substituted after all) was exceptionally good in flavor, but the pasta was disappointingly overcooked. Someone needs to learn finesse with GF pasta. My NY Strip was a surprisingly generous portion, perfectly cooked with beautiful baby potatoes and an amazing charred scallion salsa. Not something I would normally order, but happy I did. The house-made Panna Cotta was superb! Flawless. I want to come back just for this. The after-dinner drink selection not so much, but they will grow. The worst part: At 9:30 (they advertise closing at 10), as we are finishing our Panna Cotta, they bust out the OVERPOWERING PineSol cleaner to mop their floors (another flashback). The scent is overwhelming, and my wife buries her face in her glass of Amaretto. I don't understand this. Please be aware of this and change this habit. Wait until people are gone and/or use a mild diluted bleach. It's not a gas station. Overall, we LOVE this place and wish it all the success it deserves. We were happy to find Rosanna's Table, looking for a little more upscale experience. The staff was friendly and kind though not particularly knowledgeable. It took awhile to receive our drinks and the restaurant was not particularly busy. There were three of us and we all ordered different salads: my mom the House Salad that looked wonderful and she said was very good; my husband, the Kale Caesar, which was excellent; I had the Beet Salad, which was the all-around winner! our entrées were different also. Mom ordered the salmon which was perfectly cooked but underseasoned; my husband ordered the rigatoni Bolognese, which was excellent, but had far too much rigatoni; I came out the winner again with the pork ribeye, perfectly cooked and seasoned! We were disappointed to see a 3% service fee added for fluctuating costs...this seems very sly and we see No reason why it cannot be in the menu prices, especially since paper menus are used and they could be reprinted as needed. Altogether, we look forward to visiting again when we are back in town! read more

Beautiful restaurant but the food was egregious. My grandfather's meatball was like cement, my boyfriend's burger was the size of a half dollar and the fries were bad, and eating my calamari was like chewing gum. Rossana's Table - Caledonia, Michigan Well... It's far to say what could have been a deliviouus meal wasn't anything special. I was going out with my mother and I, wanting to get out and have a nice, early dinner. We came to the small establishment with high hopes. And yet, we had to wait a full hour before our appetizer came out. We sat down, they seated us at a nice window table with cute fairy lights. It was a beautiful establishment with lots of pretty paintings and a beautiful atmosphere. The bossa nova pop song covers were smooth and a wonderful atmosphere boost -- let's just say the view was pretty while I waited, well, other than locals walking around giving me and my mother dirty looks via the window. I ordered a Cherry Coke instead of Dr. Pepper because they had Coke products, it was a beautiful sweet. My mom wanted moscato, but unfortunately, they were out. She tried a red wine, but she claimed it was vinegary. Gratefully there was no cost to her tasting, the server was kind to us given how long they made us wait. She got a ginger ale instead, which she also claimed was good compared to most fountain drinks. I didn't have my phone on me, only a book and a couple of sticky notes to write down my thoughts. I read my book while waiting for our food. We had ordered a Calamari appetizer to share, she ordered the salmon & risotto, and I ordered the Funghi pizza because the mushrooms sounded very appetizing. She was looking to later try their cookies, but given how long it ended up taking, we were in no mood to stay much longer. We had arrived at the place at 6:30ish. We were often approached about how the food would be out very soon, but when an hour had passed, we were getting a little antsy, hangry if you must. I could tell the workers were embarrassed about how slow their kitchens were working, but to be graceful, it wasn't their fault the chefs were behind on their work. We got served our appetizer at 7:30; I thought it was wild they actually still came out. When we tasted it, it had a soft breadcrumby flavor to it. Some of the Calamari stuck to one another, so it was evident they couldn't defrost it. I only noticed this later. The outside breading kept falling off, and the insides were impossibly chewy. I feel that the chefs at the Italian restaurant didn't know how to cook it. At maximum, it deserves a three, and I can be quite generous on my ratings. Although we asked for our appetizer to be brought out a bit before our food, the food came nearly a minute after it arrived. I saw my Funghi Pizza and had high hopes as it had a nice aroma. I picked the slice with the most mushrooms as I noticed the others were lacking. It tasted wonderful, the first few bites of mushrooms mixed with the creamy mix of gruyere and mozzarella... to feel the truffle oil rapidly trickling down my arm. I had to wipe it up quickly to not get it on my book or annotation supplies, I realized how badly soaked the pizza was in truffle oil. I forgave the pizza for its incident, and I tried another slice, which felt like I was just eating caramelized-onions pizza. There were barely any mushrooms on the pizza. It felt less like Funghi and more like a cheesy grease pit for dinner. My mother called for some lemon for the Calamari, but it did almost nothing to help aide its flavor, demoting it from a previous 3.5 I'd given it to a 3. I'd give the Funghi Pizza a 2. You could barely call that a "Funghi" pizza. My mother ordered the salmon and risotto. She first took some of the risotto to try, but she said it wasn't too great, not elaborating much more on it. She only likes a certain risotto that her friend makes, but she claims that compared to other risottos she's tried, this was the most bearable, other than her friend's. She tasted the salmon, didn't quite like it, tried it with lemon. It did absolutely nothing to aid the dish, and as she claimed, it was still super dry and tasted too fishy, which is important to a salmon dish. Salmon should not taste like a stinky fish straight off the boat, rather, it should be armly cooked, buttery, and on the wetter side. All during my wait, I was told the food would be out in minutes, but minutes turned to an hour so I'm not exactly pleased. She said the salmon would get a 0 if she could, but I don't give zeros so it gets a .5 star. We tried getting marinara sauce for the calamari, and the first girl said they didn't have it, but she'd find a red sauce. She forgot our order. We had to get another girl to bring us some, but it was evident it was just heated up in the kitchen. I heard the people around me had similar reactions, complaining about their 6 o'clock reservations lingering to this late at night to get food. Their excuse was that the kitchen was backed up. 6 of us ate at this restaurant on Saturday, July 12, 2025. We ordered individual pizzas that are priced at $15 and were mostly crust, very little toppings and over cooked! The calamari and crostini was good. Overall our service was non-existent. This my 3rd time as a customer at this restaurant and very disappointed at this last visit. Service was good and the food was too, Rigatoni was decent but the fettuccine (with added chicken) was delicious. The pricing was a little much for what you got though. It would have been nice to have the option to add a side salad. Plus bread on the side was additional cost for not much bread. read more

I could not be happier that this charming place has opened on Main St in Caledonia. The reboot of the interior space long occupied by another restaurant is smart, stylish, and yet not overdone. My husband and I have been hoping for a regular weekend spot, and this looks like it may be the one. At our first visit, we had the meatballs on polenta as an appetizer (gluten free!), the kale Ceasar salad, which were both fresh and yummy, but the star was the Funghi pizza, light, fluffy and crispy scratch crust with gorgeous wild mushrooms. We are looking forward to going back! The atmosphere is very nice. Our server, Tara, did a great job. Even though it was busy, we received our food quickly. My husband had the pork ribeye and it was fantastic. I had the farfalle which had chicken, amazing mushrooms and pesto. Mine just needed some salt which was an easy fix. The house salad was super good - pickled onions added a nice layer to the lettuce, tomatoes and fresh Parmesan. The dressing is made in house. It is a balsamic vinaigrette and I told my husband that if they bottle it I will be purchasing some and he agreed. The only problem with the salad is that we only ordered one to share!
