With his lot of experience, he showed me past work similar to my goals, which made it the best consultation I've had. He reassured me regarding his techniques and fast recovery, all of which turned out to be true. I felt so comfortable that I booked my appointment right away and had the surgery the following week. I am now post-surgery and my breasts look like me, but better. I highly recommend him, along with his staff, especially Kari who was very nice, and the anesthesiologist who was also great. My pain was 4/10 when I first got home, but after taking my medicine, it stayed at a 0. Having zero pain was amazing, and although I have extreme soreness, he was definitely soft with me. I've attached a before and after photo from one day after surgery. If you are looking for a doctor you can trust who truly cares about what you need, I definitely recommend him.

But much worse than the cosmetic disappointment is that I lost 100% hearing and developed severe tinnitus in one ear immediately following the procedure. Dr. Kotis never even met with me when I tried to arrange follow up meetings to discuss these concerns. He was always coincidentally sick or out of town at the time of each appointment, and instead had his associates meet with me, who of course insisted my problems were totally unrelated to his surgery. Obviously something went horribly wrong, but he would never admit or accept any responsibility.

Dr Kotis seems nice but the office staff stops you from connecting with him. He also does not return calls. They said I did not show up for appointments which was not true. I cancelled with them and went to a different surgeon but again Ms. rude Lydia would not take no for an answer.

They are so nice, down to earth and did a great job making me feel comfortable. The first day I called to set up a consultation time they were nice enough to facetime me for my first meeting because I am in Ohio. They explained everything to me and even showed me all kinds of before and afters. I feel like he really listened to me and my husband and what we both wanted out of this surgery. One reviewer said they didn't think the staff was very friendly- I felt like the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I know that 2 of the girls were new so maybe Dr. Kotis made a change. But I have no complaints about anyone we worked with during our time here. The day of surgery Christina was nice enough to make me a little baggie of goodies. My surgery was pretty easy, recovery was decent (I'm 3 weeks and 2 days out and feel pretty good and my boobs look awesome). They gave us great recommendations for while we were in town and he even came to us for my post op appointment! My only complaint is that when you text him he isn't the best at answering. I feel like hes probably just so busy he doesn't have time. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and I will absolutely be going back!

We are fully satisfied with the surgical results and only wish we had it done sooner. So, if we are completely satisfied with the surgical results, why the lower score? My score reflects weighted results two surgeries and nine office visits. SCORES: Surgery (5), PT (4), and doctor office scheduling (1). I understand IBJI asking patients to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment. It implies IBJI values punctuality with expectation of seeing patients promptly at their scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, they seem to only value their own time with little regard for having patients wait needlessly well beyond their scheduled appointment. Respect should be bidirectional. Patients are expected to respect the doctor's time and be punctual. Unfortunately, this office seems to have little respect for patients or concern for the inconvenience and wasted time they inflict upon patients with the office failure to honor appointment schedules.

The physical therapy department at this facility on Salt Creek Lane in Arlington Heights is outstanding. Every single therapist I came in contact with did an outstanding job. I quickly discovered that if you listen to them and do the work you will get results. The Physical Therapists were all attentive and always made sure I did the exercises correctly which is very important. When i leave at the end of my appointment I always feel like I have done something which is a great feeling. I love this place because I get results and I appreciate being pain free after being in pain for so long. Thanks a million to Dr Kachar and the staff at IBJI Physical and Occupational Therapy. Your work does make a difference!
