They told me the day they supposedly called and that they left a voicemail and confirmed the phone number. They had the right number but there was no calls even beyond that date, voicemails, texts or emails about rescheduling. I had to take off work to go to said appointment plus my gas money and time. There was no accountability or apologies on their end at all. Just a general attitude of "of well", we can get you in tomorrow. I've had this appointment since my last cleaning 6 months ago, so how does one decide who gets rescheduled? Also, this is the second time something like this has happened in the last 3-4 years I've been going here. Do NOT recommend if your time is of any value to you!

I move very often, mostly to larger cities, and currently reside outside of Philadelphia. A few months ago I went to a new dentist for the first time near my home in Pennsylvania and was given the news that I had 16 cavities, needed a root canal performed and needed a tooth extracted, a bill which totaled over $10,000.00 after insurance payments!! I was shocked at this news, and most definitely did not believe it, since of course, I've only had two cavities in my entire life when seeing Dr. York, but yet, it had been a few years since I had seen a dentist, but still this seemed excessive and I wasn't sure what to believe and didn't know if this was just a gimmick for the dentist to receive more dollars in his pocket. I made an appointment to see Dr. York on a visit to see family in Ohio to get his opinion, and long story short, I did have cavities, but only five, and no root canal, no extractions. So only around $158.00 after insurance payment out of my pocket!! Dr. York is an amazing doctor. He has a well established business. He doesn't have to "fake" cavity fillings to make more money because he does well and is honest and that is why I go to him even though I live far away!! I'll arrange my appointments to correspond with family visits from here on out!

Was a patient here for the last 3 or 4 years. I was recently dropped as a patient to cover up a…read moremistake made by one of the secretaries that cased a delay in my care. I have never missed an appointment or not paid my bills. Plus, I have great insurance. I have been needing crowns since March, and after I saw the endodonstist, Dr. Eve's failed to follow up with me. They said to wait a month for pre-auth from my insurance. I called them 6 weeks later only to be told they hadn't submitted the pre-auth. I got justifiably angry over the phone, but the person I talked to said I cursed at her. I did not. She had poor conflict resolution skills and only escalated the conversation with an angry patient. She never apologized either. Remember, this was their mistake that delayed my patient care. Meanwhile, the secretary made the false accusation against me that got me dropped as a patient. Dr. Eves refused to talk with me and I never got to tell my side of the story. Gutless! Dropping a patient when they need your care is the most heartless thing a doctor can do. Avoid this dentist!!! There are many other great, caring dentists in the area without all the drama or lack of compassionate care.

They kept you well informed of whatever work you needed and always obtained your permission first if you needed work that you didn't initially come in for (I mention this because I've heard stories of/personally experienced dental work where permission was not first obtained).
