Of course, I first scoured any deal websites for Wine Limousine tours, but I'm glad I didn't get any hits on Groupon. I was able to pull up Ventura County Limousine and did some more research on the Wine Tasting packages they had to offer. I couldn't be any happier that I went that route. Booking the whole thing, was quick and painless. Too top it all off, our driver Ted was so accommodating, and made sure we were taken care of. I'm not sure if its because we're out-of-towners, but Ted made the day! He always had a positive attitude and he gauged the casual conversation really well. It's definitely an art to make sure you're engaging with your passengers without being overbearing. Look, I've taken short 2 hour limo rides from SF to Treasure Island up here, and sometimes they can't even get it right. I gotta give Ventura County Limousine its props for definitely exceeding my expectations.

We live out of the area and needed a pickup at a friend's home. Next, we needed to be at the airport by 3:45 AM for a 5:45 AM flight. We were traveling for 3 weeks and then needed to be picked up at LAX at the end of our trip. I'm the kind of person who worries about every detail, so I was afraid something, anything could go wrong. So, how was the service? Nothing went wrong! It was great! Mina was so friendly, timely, and even provided extras like snacks, water, and sodas. From the first pickup in the middle of the night, to the final pickup at the airport, everything went well. There is nothing like the sigh of relief after a long, exhausting airport/airplane transit than getting into a comfortable vehicle for a relaxing ride home and knowing you don't have to worry about the trip. The vehicle was beautiful and had plenty of luggage room. The passenger compartment was very comfortable. I'm happy to have found a transportation service that is trustworthy, competent, and safe. We had a schedule pick up on July 31 for our international trip and the driver did not show. I reached out to George and he apologized for the inconvenience and told me he did not have a back up driver and would refund me my trip and comp the return trip home. The problem was, I had to scramble last minute to find back up transportation to take my family and 3 yr old to the airport. Calling an uber wasn't realistic bc we needed a car seat, which 805 VIP was supposed to provide. So we had to find someone willing to drive us to the airport in our car last minute. I reached out to George prior to the return trip home and he assured me there would be a vehicle waiting for us and thankfully there was, however there was no car seat as promised. Once home I texted George to let him know we made it home and the trip went ok. I also asked him to let me know when the refund would be processed and George told me he would Zelle me the refund. Well, the refund never came. I reached out to George via text 3 times and email once inquiring about the refund for at least the trip TO the airport and there has been NO response. George full on ghosted me so I just called my credit card company to dispute the charge. This is unacceptable customer service and quite frankly a fraudulent business practice to charge customers for a service that was never rendered. I used 805 VIP transportation vs another company in an attempt to support a local business but really regret it. The driver arrived on time and communicated with me as they were approaching and we were immediately on our way. The ride was great I think because the driver understand how to drive with a passenger. Unlike the majority of my experience with Uber, who are not "professional" drivers. I was able to catch a nap as a result. I don't often, not drive myself to LAX, but they gave me pause for their professionalism, courtesy and price.

Uber car seat didn't seem to be a reliable option and ride hailing services required a super far transfer to another pickup location. The bus was also triple the time to our destination near the cruise port. Go Ride was very clear about their pricing and they were detailed when answering a follow up question I had about pickup time which was fortunate as our flight ended up getting in 30 mins earlier than scheduled. Our driver, Oscar, arrived early to pick us up - I received an iMessage from him before landing using my airline's in-flight wifi - I was able to send him updates as we got off the plane and got our bags. He pulled up within 5 mins of my last message when we had our bags conveniently right outside the terminal. It was so easy I didn't even need to rent the $8 USD luggage cart and my kids didn't have enough time to complain about any wait. Oscar was really helpful with our bags and had all the car seats already installed correctly! All seats were facing the correct direction, solid, tight and the only adjustment needed was for the actual seat belts themselves to secure the kids. Oscar offered us bottles of water and we were off to the hotel. On the way we had a nice chat and he was totally OK with the youngest child crying for a bit while navigating LA's notorious traffic (he said it was light but to me it was busy).
