I have been a patient of Dr. Hosny's for about 3 or 4 years. I have arthritis in my neck and shoulder. The trigger point injections he and Dr. Vivek Mehta administered saved me. They have allowed me to have a normal, functional life. Last January I had a very bad pain that went from my back through to my chest. It was so severe, I went to Lenox Hill ER, to make sure I was not having a heart attack. 11 hours later, they determined it was muscular in nature. I was in excruciating pain. I wrote Dr. Hosny an e-mail to see if they could evaluate me. He promptly wrote me back, from home (think he was on paternity leave), and said, Yes, no problem. I wasn't sure if my new insurance would cover the injections, if they decided to give them to me. He said I could self-pay, and charged me less than half what they get from the insurance company. Josephine Muston, MS, FNP-C gave me the injections in my back. I was better that very day. I believe that Dr. Hosny is trying to distract you from being afraid when he talks about light hearted things, like movies... I found all of his staff very warm and extremely accomadating. From Maria and Chris, in reception, to the anesthesiologist who worked with me when I was first having injections, to the nurse, Drs. and Tracy who takes care of me post injection. He genuinely cares about his patients. I was probably a lot younger than the people he saw all day but he still took the time with me and treated me really well, and was always willing to work with me on medications as respiratory issues can be very expensive. I miss this doctor and would recommend him to anyone who needs to see a pulmonary specialist.

although not even aware i had any hearing loss, i was diagnosed with otosclerosis. following…read morehaving dr inouye do a stapedectomy which i was told was a simple procedure with a 99% success rate, his surgical procedure left me hearing impaired with a hearing loss of 60 decibels, along with extreme tinnitus and vertigo. following the surgery, dr. inouye couldn't be bothered with my situation, was rather dismissive, refused to do a follow up corrective procedure to possibly restore my hearing and, to add insult to injury, suggested i "see a specialist"! seven months later, i am partially deaf in that ear, have never heard back from him or his office team to inquire about my condition or any concern, but of course, receive his billing statements demanding payment! do yourself a favor before you are also left disabled and treated poorly, save yourself the heartache and damage and see an ear 'specialist' first. apparently, only after the damage was done did dr. inouye consider himself a general ENT, and felt that to correct his surgery, i should see an ear specialist. he should have told me that PRIOR to having him schedule ear surgery. my research for the best ear specialist has led me to nyc's dr. darius kohan. with any luck and a lot of praying, i am hoping he will be able to correct the damage that dr. inouye has left me with.

I also love that he will sometimes pivot and suggest non traditional methods like I had this aching pain in my wrist for years, he showed me a pressure point, applied pressure for a few minutes and the pain was gone for hours. I use that trick all the time, Ive had several other doctors send me for tests and scans and he gave me a workable, less invasive option that honestly I prefer. Dont get turned off by the bad reviews, Dr Tailor is a sweetheart of a Doctor, like most bad reviews those folks just need an outlet for their anger outside of yelp or are just nasty people to begin with.

I took line and provide ID . Then she stop doing my process and taking 1 costumer , after other costumer . 3rd costumer step in office. She start working her paperworks. So being kind and respectful are illegal in this office l guess . I was quiet until 3rd costumer even l came and took line before those people . She just ignored me . When l say , why you holding me here . I came here before them . She raised her voice and rudely answered 1 second 1 second . I don't like someone discriminating other . Not only did he inform me about the probable risks of the implant recommended by my original doctor post surgery, he offered a simple, alternate treatment. During it, he explained every step he was taking and exactly what to expect after. I can't remember ever trusting a doctor this much, or feeling so comfortable. He would make the best pediatrician! I am so grateful to have discovered him.
