This is THE animal shelter to come to when you are looking for a feline companion!…read more The cats you will find at this location have so many personalities that you are almost guaranteed to find a cat that will mesh perfectly with you, in fact you may have trouble choosing just one!! Stop in to see the cats, make a donation, or volunteer!!

This was one of the best experiences I've had. People were so kind here I came here back in 2015…read morewhen I first moved out into my own apartment and they help me connect with my baby girl Layla I love her very much everyone loves her feel like my family and friends love her more than they love me LOL she was so well socialized and healthy and this is because of the work of the volunteers and facilitated at the shelter. They really care about their pets they really know their pets and I respect that. This is a no kill shelter so although they want the cats to go to a good home they will not put the cats in any potentially dangerous situations their screening process is thorough and I really respect it. This is not a shelter that you can just walk in and walk out with a pet they want to make sure that you are match correctly so you do have to stop by a few times it interacts with different cats I could not thank them enough for that because me and my cat get along so well because we took her time to get to know each other. thank you so much for pair me up with my best friend for life!

No kill shelters keep animals in solitary confinement until they lose their minds or die and think they are virtuous. I was having trouble with a male dog, I only was able to interact with one Bitch, not sure of the breed. Every word or communication was invalidated, ignored, or incapable of listening. I believe the Bitch to be deaf. Please rescue dogs from here. Just tread lightly around the coordinator. Gaslighting, manipulation, pressure and Zero Empathy.

While searching for our forever furbaby, we came across this place online and drove right on over…read more This no kill animal shelter in Bloomfield was easy to find. We absolutely loved the staff there...every member has such a passion for each and every one of the animals they bring in there. They do their best to take their time to find out all of the dogs and cats personality's and characteristics which helps the pet and their new owner adjust to their new lives together. We wound up adopting an amazing 6 year old Pitbull Terrier named Ray-Ray. The paperwork for the adoption was not overwhelming and the adoption fee was $250- a small price to pay for unconditional love! The day we bright him home- they provided us a collar, leash and a bag filled with food treats and toys to help us get started! They also provided us with the necessary paperwork and tags for proof of check-ups and shots. For those who need this information- surrender fees are $65..which is also a small price to pay if for whatever reason you need to surrender your pet- and at least if you bring them here, they will not be killed and the staff will do their best to find them their new forever home.
