They were able to add in several ceiling fans in rooms that did not have and wiring for ceiling fixtures as well as we all configure the fusebox connections to split out and balance the load more in a townhouse that was built before modern electrical needs which were stressing the current fuses. I've never had such a poor experience with a contractor before. While their staff (Tori and Dan) was friendly, and completed the work that was agreed to, when I had a concern regarding what I was billed for versus what was agreed to in setting up the appointment, I was met with nothing but hostility and aggression from the owner - Tim. I explained I had every intention of paying; I just wanted to better understand why my bill was more than anticipated, and wanted to better understand the rationale for the invoice that I received. During my conversation with the owner I was yelled at, belittled, and told I had no idea what I was talking about. Overall, I'm just dumbfounded at the way in which he handled my inquiry - it was the most unprofessional encounter I've ever had with a business. Really unfortunate that it ended this way. read more

Extremely grateful for the house saving service!During the storm a tree had fallen onto wires from pole to house. Wires connected with a small explosion, fire, sparks and lots of smoke. The damage left the downed live hot wires and the neutral within inches of each other and within a foot of the house. Fire department called it dangerous. Roselle Electric came out as soon as it stopped raining. They too confirmed it was a dangerous situation if those wires again connected. ComEd ticket was opened but by the next morning no response. But Roselle Electric came without even calling to follow up and after careful inspection decided to cut power lines to eliminate fire hazard. They quickly replaced the melted outside electrical housing and wiring and and the meter housing which had also melted. When ComEd finally did arrive, My house was ready for power to be restored! Very good business. Came out in an emergency situation (Panel fire which needed to be replaced) on a Sunday. Also took the time to explain to me what happened, why it happened and assured me that it would not happen again. Due to COMED incompetence another person came out and put in a temp. meter jumper since our meter was bad and COMED was basically OK leaving us without power for an unknown amount of time in 90 deg. temperature. They did not have to put this jumper in as their job was done but they went above and beyond to get me electricity. 4 days later, 5 calls and COMED STILL has not come out despite promises they'd be there each day. Fast and Honest service! I called in the morning when one of my outlets blew out and they sent Tim just a few hours later. He was able to quickly assess the problem, solve it, and tell me exactly how much it would cost me. He did not try to upsell me on anything. He also was kind enough to check out our breaker box to see if the condensation that was present was going to create an unmanageable problem for us in the future. For $30 he sealed a pipe in there that was causing the main condensation issue and saved us the headache of paying the hundreds of dollars it would have cost us to replace the whole box had the rust been allowed to continue.
