The guys from RES did an awesome job. They were able to add in several ceiling fans in rooms that did not have and wiring for ceiling fixtures as well as we all configure the fusebox connections to split out and balance the load more in a townhouse that was built before modern electrical needs which were stressing the current fuses. Very clean and friendly staff, clear about all plans, findings and recommendations to complete the requested items. Definitely will be reaching out to them again in the future if additional work is needed! Pricing was very reasonable for the work completed! read more

Needed some electrical work done and of course thought of Roselle electric. Again,Fred Did a great job, as he always does, and did an expert installation of my ring outdoor floodlight system as well as remedying a indoor dual switch problem and changing smoke alarm batteries. He has come to know that I am physically incapable of handling certain small everyday projects so he ALWAYS makes a point of making sure if there is anything else he can help me with,no matter what..just to be helpful, Which is truly appreciated. No other repairman I have had this home has ever showed this degree of helpfulness. He went around and found bulbs out That I didn't even know were not working and With a smile, took care of them for me. I find Roselle's rates quite fair and Reasonable...and to know that I am going to get great service above and beyond, makes it more desirable for me to call Roselle if I have any issues. Another satisfied service call! read more

I called Roselle Electric to install two light fixtures on 14 foot ceilings and convert standard switches to smart switches. Amazing experience from scheduling to job completion. I've never had such a poor experience with a contractor before. While their staff (Tori and Dan) was friendly, and completed the work that was agreed to, when I had a concern regarding what I was billed for versus what was agreed to in setting up the appointment, I was met with nothing but hostility and aggression from the owner - Tim. I explained I had every intention of paying; I just wanted to better understand why my bill was more than anticipated, and wanted to better understand the rationale for the invoice that I received. During my conversation with the owner I was yelled at, belittled, and told I had no idea what I was talking about. Overall, I'm just dumbfounded at the way in which he handled my inquiry - it was the most unprofessional encounter I've ever had with a business. Really unfortunate that it ended this way. read more

Lady on the phone was great to try to solve issue over the phone but also mentioned they can squeeze me in next day. Price was competitive so I went with them. Gentleman doing that work knew what he was doing and didn't waste time. As most of you know these are built by the hour( first hour full charge, next hour are billed with 15 min increments). He was able to get the light back up in our small bathroom which was related to a wire getting lose in our attic. Overall happy and will use again read more

A big thumbs up to Roselle Electric. They provided some much needed repairs in our house and garage. They provided a timely estimate, fair price and thorough explanation for all the necessary repairs. The electrician, Fred, arrived on time, reviewed the work to be done, provided info on the repairs, cleaned up everything when done. Super to have quality work, reasonable pricing, friendly and experienced folks that get it done right! read more

I had a few jobs that needed to be taken care of in the house my mother left us. The electrician Juan was on time and swiftly identified the issue on each problem and made the repairs quickly. He also installed an outdoor outlet that had been on a wish list. One repair could not be performed regarding replacing a nonstandard outdoor lamppost fitting, but he knowledgeably advised us as to what we needed to get the correct part so it could eventually be completed. I found the charges to be very fair. This is a longstanding business with an excellent reputation. With my experience, there is a reason for this. read more

As always, they get the job done and to code. They aren't the cheapest but you get what you pay for. They are our go to "electrician".

Recently had a light fixture installed by Roselle Electric and couldn't be more pleased. They were nothing but professional from start to finish. The person I spoke with to schedule the appointment was pleasant and very knowledgeable. The electrician arrived on time, finished within an hour, and the price was exactly what we were quoted, which was very reasonable. Highly recommend and will be using them again for future projects. read more

Dan + team came over and replaced the outside lighting at my mother's home. They even installed a new light on one side of the garage and had to drill thru brick. In the quote I was told that there might be some cracks in the brick when the job was done but they are such pros that there wasn't even a scratch! They did a perfect job and cleaned up before they left. They are true professionals that always go above and beyond. I would never trust anybody else to do the work for all my electrical jobs. Needed an old ceiling fan taken down and a new one installed in my master bedroom. Called Roselle Electrical and setup an appointment for a few days later. While they couldn't give me an exact arrival time during the setup, they made sure to call me about 30 minutes prior to arrival. He was very knowledgeable, personable and just an overall nice guy. He made sure all the connections were safe, installed a new outlet in my attic and was done in about an hour. They do take credit cards for a small fee. They provided good communication about when they were going to arrive and then arrived on time. The tech completed the job (installing new bathroom fan and new closet light) quickly and clearly explained when he needed to do something extra because of how things were laid out or initially installed. We use to have a go to electrician, but he just got too busy or our jobs were not large enough for his time. Our plumber recommended Roselle Electric as we needed to have a shower fan/light replaced. I called and left a message and received a call back within a few minutes. Explained what I needed and they said we can have a guy out in a little while. I was like you mean today?! Yes, he's finishing a job up in Roselle and can be in Bartlett in a couple hours. I was speechless. Needless, to say, he showed up, finished the work in under 15 minutes and we were done. These guys are definitely my new go to guys for any electrical needs! read more

Immediately I called Roselle Electric and I was hoping to get free estimate on how to fix my problem. They said that everything is OK, and I do not have any problem with this panel. Extremely grateful for the house saving service!During the storm a tree had fallen onto wires from pole to house. Wires connected with a small explosion, fire, sparks and lots of smoke. The damage left the downed live hot wires and the neutral within inches of each other and within a foot of the house. Fire department called it dangerous. Roselle Electric came out as soon as it stopped raining. They too confirmed it was a dangerous situation if those wires again connected. ComEd ticket was opened but by the next morning no response. But Roselle Electric came without even calling to follow up and after careful inspection decided to cut power lines to eliminate fire hazard. They quickly replaced the melted outside electrical housing and wiring and and the meter housing which had also melted. When ComEd finally did arrive, My house was ready for power to be restored! Thank you so very much!! read more

Defensiveness, Rudeness, Short Tempered, Refused to admit their errors. All about the immediate pay check and not the repeat healthy relationship with clients in future. Office personnel was very pleasant unfortunately the contractors would not be scoring high for customer relations. What a shame read more

Excellent, skillful service. I highly recommend. We had a problem with our undercabinet lighting in our kitchen. A quick phone call led to an appointment in less than 12 hours. I will never recommended this company to anyone! The way they treated us yelling and being rude Bc we didn't work with them after they gave us a free quote. Saying we just wasted their time and wasted time putting a quote together. Tim you are a joke disrespecting women by yelling at them for not working with you. Take some anger management courses. I have been a home owner for over twenty years and have had dozen's of contractors out for various household repairs during that time. Never have I ever had a more pleasant experience form the moment I spoke to them on the phone to the moment they left my house. They were very professional and accommodating. They do quality work and their prices are fair. Most importantly, they are trustworthy and do things the right way. I recommend this service for residential and If I had a commercial property I would not hesitate to use them for that as well. Fast and Honest service! I called in the morning when one of my outlets blew out and they sent Tim just a few hours later. He was able to quickly assess the problem, solve it, and tell me exactly how much it would cost me. He did not try to upsell me on anything. He also was kind enough to check out our breaker box to see if the condensation that was present was going to create an unmanageable problem for us in the future. For $30 he sealed a pipe in there that was causing the main condensation issue and saved us the headache of paying the hundreds of dollars it would have cost us to replace the whole box had the rust been allowed to continue. Fast, honest, and very reasonably priced service. They will definitely be my go-to for any future electrical needs! read more

Very good business. Came out in an emergency situation (Panel fire which needed to be replaced) on a Sunday. Also took the time to explain to me what happened, why it happened and assured me that it would not happen again. Due to COMED incompetence another person came out and put in a temp. meter jumper since our meter was bad and COMED was basically OK leaving us without power for an unknown amount of time in 90 deg. temperature. They did not have to put this jumper in as their job was done but they went above and beyond to get me electricity. 4 days later, 5 calls and COMED STILL has not come out despite promises they'd be there each day. Roselle Electric sure knows how COMED operates! Thanks guys, you saved me a hotel stay, a fridge full of bad food and 2 pounds of sweat!! read more

So glad I found these guys. They helped us so much when we moved into our new home from installing can lights and ensuring I was happy with the bulbs, changing out old outlets and light switches, hooking up an attic fan, installing ceiling fans in all our upstair bedrooms which included drilling holes into the ceilings from the attic and hooking them up to light switches, not a small job.
