Selecting Rose as our photographer was probably the very best decision we made while planning our wedding. Aside from her incredible talent and professionalism, her warmth really made our photography something special. Her presence at the wedding felt like just another (super awesome) friend, which aloud my wife and I to really open up and show our love for one another. There was no awkwardness or tension - we were completely at ease. She listened to our needs, negotiated the photos of our crazy big family, and was a complete pleasure to work with. We truly cannot recommend her enough, and we will treasure her pictures forever. read more

Rose took head shots for me and they are gorgeous. Her sense of light and background is incredibly intuitive and it made the shoot really efficient. It was over before I knew it. I have a ton of usable, beautiful photographs from a one hour, two outfit session. The turn around time was great and I'm thrilled with the entire experience. read more

Rose Photo documented our wedding, and I could not have asked for a better photographer. Rose is a pleasure to work with and incredibly good at what she does. Throughout the planning process, Rose was responsive and flexible. I planned most of my wedding long distance, and Rose put me at ease about this, being very helpful and quick to respond to emails, calls, and texts. I contacted several photographers before deciding to go with Rose, but none of them compared--she was the perfect combination of talent and ability to work with my budget constraints, and it was obvious from the first time I spoke with her how much passion she put into her work. I also appreciated how Rose guided us through the process by setting up a meeting and sending us a questionnaire. It definitely reduced wedding planning stress to work with someone so capable. Rose made our wedding day a breeze. After long months of planning, I was more concerned with having a drink or two and keeping my makeup looking great on a hot summer day, but Rose got stuff done. She was friendly and easygoing, but also proactive in directing our bridal party and family through the portraits. She captured great candids as well, truly documenting the day. All in all, Rose was absolutely wonderful to work with. Her photos are stunning, and every time I look at my wedding photos, I remember how much love and joy filled our wedding day. read more

When my friend who is a photographer could not photograph our wedding, I was bummed. Then she recommended Rose and we instantly fell in love. Not only did we like her previous work on her website, but we felt so comfortable the instant we met her. Rose was the perfect combination of professional and fun. She is such a relaxed person and truly loves her job. Rose took our engagement photos and I swear she had even more fun than we did at the session. The highlight: she convinced an ice cream truck driver to let us get in the truck and take pics! The pictures turned out exactly how we imagined them - a perfect mix of romantic and fun shots. On the wedding day I was beyond impressed with Rose and her assistant. She was so happy to be there and kept us smiling all day. Even when things were running behind, Rose broke the tension and went with the flow. She made sure to capture every shot that we had asked for and went beyond that to get more that we hadn't even thought of. The reception pictures are great - she really knows how to shoot a wedding and get some fun pictures. She even danced with us for a bit and her assistant got a great shot of it :) We will definitely be using Rose in the future for other events! read more

Rose Rocks! I went to her for my professional headshots....from the lighting and equipment to the manner in which she directed me (I'm NOT a model, so I needed suggestion throughout) was as good as it gets! She's fun, talented and I've received the very best compliments on my pictures from others in my industry as well as friends and family.....I'm quite sure she landed me many gigs now solely based on the quality of these photographs. Highly recommended and I'll be calling her again for my next batch. read more

I recently worked with Rose and her team for a boudoir photo-shoot as a gift for my fiancé. It was a fantastic experience! From the beginning Rose was easy to work with and accommodating. She sent me examples in a private gallery, I was instantly excited to work with her. I also liked the option of the magazine vs photo album. The day of I met Rose and the makeup artist at her loft, I have to admit, I was a little nervous. Rose could sense my mood, she made me a craft cocktail and welcomed me into her home. Over the next two hours we worked great together! She loved my suggestions and I trusted her professional judgment. Her space is wonderful and there are so many looks to work with. I had a blast! A week later I received my gallery and I could not have been more pleased. The pictures were absolutely beautiful; it was hard for me to choose which ones I wanted for the magazine. I feel fortunate to have worked with Rose and have her capture this special time in my life. I would recommend using her hair and makeup person on site, its great way to start off the photo-shoot. I also liked that Rose encouraged me to bring as many "looks" as I wanted. When I was researching other photographers, they limited you to one or two looks or there were additional charges. It was nice to have lots of options the day of. Overall, it was a great experience from beginning to end. read more

Rose is awesome! She has a great personality and a great storytelling ability with her lens. We did a family / 1st bday photo shoot with her and she was great with our 4 year old as well as the 1 year old. She instantly bonded with the 4 year old and was able to get her cooperate! Our 4 year old keeps asking for another photo shoot with Miss Rose :). Most importantly we love the photos! we will definitely go with Rose again for any future family photos and will recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. read more

Rose did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. She came highly recommended from another photographer we had contacted through Yelp who was already booked for our date. We loved the style of the photos on her website and clicked from our first meeting. We didn't have any set locations in mind for our bridal party photos, just general ideas and she came up with great suggestions. Unfortunately it rained during the time allowed for our outdoor photos, but no one to blame for that! Rose still made the best of our time. She captured great photos of both the people involved in the wedding and the venues themselves which is so great to have looking back on the photos now. Rose has a great vision and was easy to work with. She responded to all our questions right away, delivered our photos well ahead of the promised date (for all three items - the social media sneak peak and the online gallery and digital images) and hit all the photos on our list. Our only con was that while we have all the photos on our list, we wish there were multiple takes of some of the portraits (to have a few to choose from based on someone not looking at the camera, eyes closed, etc.). I know the ones with the entire bridal party or family ones with children it can be almost impossible to get everyone looking at once though. Overall, Rose Photo produces a high quality product at a reasonable price. We will enjoy looking back at our photos for years to come. We had a great experience and highly recommend her for your event! read more

Rose photographed our wedding, and I was so incredibly happy with our photos. Coming from a family of photographers, getting a good photographer for our wedding was number one priority for me. She was super easy to work with and her artistic eye was reflected through our photos. She was able to capture the most special moments and created amazing memories for us. When my dad viewed them, (a very tough critic) he said "The photographers did an exceptional job. I'm very impressed and I say that as someone that knows how hard it is to get a good set of "natural" looking wedding pictures. I realize that having the ceremony where it was afforded some additional opportunities like the overhead shots (we were married at Architectural Artifacts), but using the bounced strobes into the umbrellas resulted in some images on the dance floor that really are so much better than the "average reception shots". Very, very well done." I couldn't have asked for anyone better. A huge thanks to Rose and her team. read more

Rose is Amazing! She is a great person to be around. Her calming, reassuring spirit is a great bonus, she makes you comfortable and relaxed which is so refreshing. She is a photographer with a GIFT. The proof is in the pudding. She took our engagement photos and we could not be happier, she will be taking our wedding photos in 2016 which we now can't wait for. I would highly recommend Rose Photo to anyone. PS-her staff is also great and super helpful! read more

Ok this review is a year late. As my amazing wife and I looked through our wedding photos on our 1st anniversary I was reminded of what I already knew: Rose Photo was amazing and most of all, money well spent. We still receive so many complements on how great our photos turned out and I have been recommending Rose to everyone I know. Why? Well she was great to work with. From the first meeting to the engagement session and the actual day off and all the planning in between. Her enthusiasm was contagious and you could tell she was genuinely excited to help tell our story. She has a great eye and captured some truly great moments. She was very flexible and a pleasure to work with. She is willing to do whatever it takes to get the right shot. Seriously she was like a stealthy ninja in the church and she literally walked into the middle of the street and stopped traffic so we could get the perfect outdoor downtown shots. She had one hand up stopping traffic while she took pictures with the other hand. Now that's dedication. We could not be happier with the end result. Every time I look at the photos I am so grateful about how great they turned out. You will not be disappointed. read more
