Started to go other places because I wanted to find a cheaper spot. I couldn't. I like that they don't try to up-sale me. I like that they are fast. I like that it's so quiet in there. The last visit I went to, I noticed they are NOT the cleanest but not unsanitary either. Hence the one star down grade. read more

Rose Nails - Price list - Nail Salons Near Me - San Diego, California

Not professional quality waxing services. There was no skin prep, no skin aftercare either. And multiple dipping with same stick in a wax bowl for multiple people. Huge red flag for sanitary concerns, staph infections, and ingrown hairs. Better just stick with nails only here! read more

I walked in and the odor was unbearable. The shop is dirty and dusty. They made me wait 20 minutes and there were only 20 people. They were rude and ungracious. I feared getting an infection from dirty utensils. I will never go back nor recommend to anyone. A truly disgusting nail salon! read more

I've gone here for a year. I hate waiting an hour for my nails to get done at other places. They take like 25 min for French and it's always perfect. It's cheap with not necessarily a beautiful ambiance but the sisters who work there are so sweet! read more

Very responsible pricing. Ladies are very nice. But sanitary, they need lots of help. I walked in trash cans full from the day before. Mail clipping all over the floor. Shop could use some help with their decor. read more

Great nail place. The girls are so friendly. They've been in business for many many years and have a lot of older clientele. But they're quick and very efficient. We go once a month for pedicures. read more

Went in for pedicure fastest I have ever received but really was more of a polish change. Seemed very sketchy. No cuticle trimming , no foot massage, no top coat. Clipped , filed a little, two coats of polish and out of there. Not recommended if you are seeking traditional pedicure... read more

Just don't. This place is terrible, equipment and message chairs straight from 1990's. The polish is haphazardly piled on the countertop, none are displayed on walls and you have no idea what you're looking at. I paid $40 for a gel pedi that lasted 10 minutes, she "soaked" my feet for about 30 seconds in lukewarm water and went straight into painting my nails. No exfoliating, no message, nothing. Other reviews saying the same thing... wish I had checked yelp before walking in. read more

Visiting from out of town and broke my nail. Was able to get in same day and they were super fast. In and out in 30 minutes and my nails looked great. Thanks for the good conversations and great nails. read more

They have been in the biz so she knows her stuff . Waxing and nail art.. reasonable prices . Claremont is the place to get nails done as other beach communities charge more . You can see the ocean from here and get better prices.. Enjoy ! read more

The worst manicure I've had in San Diego. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, so I know we demand a higher level of manicure and pedicure than the usual service provided around California (Brazilian mani and pedis are very high quality with the cuticle cleaning and nail polish painting) but this place was another level of bad. I'm attaching a couple of pics taken half an hour after I got my hand nails done. read more

very nice ladies. Quick and efficient for busy professionals. They take good care of me and have for over 20 years. sure it could use updating but the service for full set nails and fills was great. read more

These sisters are such a staple of this shopping center, if you are a local, I wouldn't miss it

UPDATE! I now have the worst, most painful ingrown toenail of my entire life from this pedicure. Even though I specifically asked her be careful bc I get ingrown nails very easily. I may have to have the ingrown toenail surgically removed. DO. NOT. GO. HERE!!!! read more

I would not recommend this place. Very disappointed with my nail service. Got a pedi and there was no attention to detail. My cuticles look horrible. Further, the staff was not warm and friendly when arriving which was disappointing since this was my first time here. Will not be going back. read more

as i reach for my credit card with my semiwet nails, lady says CASH ONLY. wth. i wish they posted that in the front or outside the salon. My friend had cash but had to go to the ATM next door as my bank was a few miles away. They get the job done but they probably aren't the best in the area, nor are they the cheapest. read more

Sooooo in love with my nails!! This is my forever favorite place to go to. Came in last minute today without an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in even though they're super busy during the holidays. I was able to get my nails done the way i wanted it to be within 30 mins. The place is pretty neat, seems like it's a family sisters own. All of the sisters are super nice and sweet, they always smile! Great service, definitely coming back for more!! read more

Rose Nails - Acrylic with fun polka dots for the holidays - Nail Salons Near Me - San Diego, California

I was looking for a new nail salon after my favorite place closed. I know I will never set foot in this place again. Chi was such an unfriendly person. This was the fasted pedicure I ever had!! ( less than 25 minutes). Seems like they do not value their costumers. Luckily they are plenty of nail saloons in Clairemont, I do not need this cold treatment! I should have read some of the reviews. read more

Decided to treat myself at my regular salon. I got an acrylic set with nude gel color. I told Tram and Ly that I wanted to look fancy for a wedding. So they delivered beautiful shaped nails, with little sparkling design on my ring finger, just too pretty. I also got my toenails done by Chi. And I totally recommend getting ur toenails done here, they take their time and make sure you feel relaxed and comfortable. I believe this is family business because 3 of them that did my nails were sisters, so I've never felt like they upsell me ever. This has been my go-to place, but today my nails are just too pretty that I have to share with the world. Totally recommend!!! read more

I'm looking for a quality yet no frills mani/pedi spot in Bay Ho/Bay Park. Unfortunately, this isn't it. I booked an appointment but was seen 40 minutes later. No apology or acknowledgement of the 40 minute wait. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't get upset, but then ended up getting the fastest pedicure I've ever had. The combo of the two left me underwhelmed. read more

Not warm, no exfoliation service, no massage, no water or any beverage offered, no card accepted!!! No pleasant music playing in the background.. no smiles, no attempt to make conversation, no station to dry my toenails & then to charge $25 for this was absolutely ridiculous! I wish I hadn't have gone here.. worst pedicure ever! Do yourself a favour and go to Terri's nails in PB it's the best! read more

Worst pedicure experience I've ever had! My best friend and I were a walk in just for a random pedicure and they did take us in right away which was great. Everyone was nice to us but the way they did everything was just awful. The water was cold so I had to ask them twice to make it hot for me. On the third time I gave up on asking... my friend and I sat next to each other and she was telling me her water was barely warm. They didn't clean under our nails or anything just filed them and painted them. It took about 15 minutes for both of us to get a cold pedicure. Polish didn't last. I had to go somewhere else to get is re done. They don't massage you or put on lotion or clean under your nails which is a huge deal for me because I am always on my feet at work. read more

Let me start by saying, "A Whol-Lotta-Parking!". It's your typical hole in the wall nail salon, but it's clean, very afforadable and only two-three women work in there. It's the familiar faces that keep me coming back paired with the close nit neighborhood feel. They also do excellent eyebrow waxing! They do all sorts of nail art, acrylic, gel, mani/pedi, etc. You can almost always stop by and get seen on a walk in basis. Wide array of colors from OPI to chose from too. read more

Quick service. Nice people. Nice quick feet massage. I wasn't too pleased with the reuse of the nail tools from one customer to another. read more

I would never recommend this place. They didn't do my pedicure anything like it should be. Didn't offer any separate services and I'm positive they are not following all the cleanliness laws. She used open tools and I had to ask her if they were new. I stopped by to shop in the area and thought it would be nice but I will never visit again to put it simply. They need a serious upgrade and to learn a few things about customer service. read more

The WORST PEDICURE I'VE HAD in 32 years!! No scrubbing calluses, just applied the lotion... they just don't care. I think the only people who go here have been coming for a long time. Cold water, dirty tools and salon, dust all over everything, food left out, they use the same tools on everyone. I'm in the industry and they would be fined so much money for this stuff! I wish I hadn't spent my money here....it wasn't worth anything! So underwhelmed! I'll never come again. 15 min beginning to end. read more

This is the best place for my nails. The ladies know what they are doing and for sure treat my nails with care. They have such a great color selections for nail polish. I usually get gels for my nails. It would last at least 2 weeks for me. Definitely recommend this place if you want some good pedi and medi in a quite, cozy and friendly shop. :) read more

Would not come back. Rude and cut me multiple times when giving me a manicure. Do not go to this salon.

i love Tram at Rose Nails. She does a beautiful job on my nails including sometimes a little flower on my toe or something. She is so accomodating when I am trying to read a magazine answer my phone and get a mani pedi at the same time. I love the massage chair, they have good magazines and the price is right too. She's a lovely person and a visit to Tram is always like a little vacation. When I am feeling blue or troubled or just need to get out of my head for a while, spending an hour with Tram is the perfect way to turn the day around! read more

Uneven, bad manicure, chipped and tore by the next morning. It was a joke.and they were rude! Never again.

I stopped in late morning on a Saturday to treat myself to a pedicure. I can't tell you how long it's been since my last pedi. I chose this place because my mom told me the ladies here are very nice. It was $20 for a pedi in the massage chair. Chi did my pedi and she is nice. Overall, a very good experience. read more

I love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere in this little nail shop. No blaring tv, loud music or excessive talking and Tram does a great job on my nails for a fair price and is she is quick without cutting corners!! read more

Peeling paint, not updated and a little messy. Got a mani pedi, decent but very unorganized. No nail dryers, didn't put my friends sandals on before doing her pedicure so her nails got messed up. Didn't collect payment before the manicure so luckily my friend only had a pedicure and was able to pay for us. Nail shapes and lengths aren't even and the polish doesn't go all the way to the cuticle so it kind of looks like I got the manicure last week. It was quick which is what we were looking for but I wouldn't go back. Definitely don't go here to feel pampered. read more
