A once great & prestigious store now in the gutter - they might be able to sell you music books n guitars - something Rose Morris is famous for but when it comes to the guitar workshop, its a complete shambles. I asked them if they were willing to order me a set of guitar pickups from a certain manufacturer - they said no, and threw up some lame excuses like they didnt have any trade channels with the manufacturer and dont want to create one - the pickups in question are Bare Knuckle Pickups - a BRITISH shop that refuses to sell BRITISH pickups??? next up I asked for 2 500k volume pots - they said they didnt have any in stock, despite their website stating that they had at least 2-3 different brands of them currently in stock, then i asked for some work to be done on my guitar - and the they said it wont be able to complete the work for 2 weeks, as i only wanted a pickup swap - something that probably takes less then 30mins to do I asked why - they said their guitar tech only works 1 or 2 days a week n their upto their neck in back log....
So.....
they refuse to help me source pickups,
they dont even attempt to keep their website even the slightest bit uptodate with stock levels.
and their guitar tech works 1 or 2 days a week.
Rose Morris are one of the biggest names for guitars in london. and they were great when i went to them for my first 2 guitars but this was VERY dissapointing and I will no longer do business with them. they might as well turn the place into a pizza express since they refuse to do ANYTHING or have ANYTHING in stock despite what their website may state.
Sorry Rose Morris - you have been great but i really expected better. read more
