Making beaded jewelry and working on latch hook kits were hobbies I loved years ago, and I didn't realize how much I missed them. As I mentioned in my previous review, Hobby Lobby has brought out my inner child in the best way possible, and I'm embracing it. My Nana taught me to knit when I was a little girl, and I even took a class with my sister as an adult. It's been many years since I've touched knitting needles, and while I know I'll get back to it, I'm trying not to take on too much at once, but knitting is definitely in my future. This store may not have won me over with the custom framing, but it did something better, it reminded me of some things I used to love, and brought back some wonderful memories, and reminded me that it's never too late to pick up an old hobby, or even try something new.

Pricing was also much less expensive than what I paid before. Loved it.

There aren't too many stores like this around, so it's really hard to make a comparison. Upon entering the store, I was at first overwhelmed by the selection. I didn't know where to look first. After examining the inventory more carefully, it became easier to discern what was where. The selection of findings & beads is deep. It's nice to know a place to shop for jewelry making supplies that is head over heels above the big box craft stores. The bead selection includes a large, varied collection of glass beads, Czech glass beads, pottery beads, pearls, semi-precious stones & a whole lot more. Classes are offered to learn many new techniques. They also sell jewelry, created from beads sold in the shop. I was very impressed. I'll be back!
