The atmosphere was pretty nice and the decour was very chinese, which is why I bumped this up to 2 stars. We arrived roughly 2 hours before closing time on a sunday evening, which would leave us with plenty of time to really just relax and enjoy the buffet. While we got seated, the waiter told us they were out of sushi and it would take roughly 45 minutes before they would have any ready. I wouldn't mind for some freshly made sushi, but my friends didn't want to wait, so they told the waiter it was fine. Turns out that the waiter interpreted that as a signal to not make the sushi at all. A little disappointed, I went up to the buffet and they had a mix of mongolian barbecue and deep fried chinese stuff. First time around I went for the mongolian and mixed up a few things, but there was only a few choices of meat, due to them being out of the rest. We had exactly two oils/seasonings to choose from, which was a little disappointing. Having a few different types of seasoning is somewhat expected from a mongolian barbecue. When I got the food back, half of it was very burnt and the other half was almost not done. It wasn't really that great. But I didn't want to complain or whine about it in front of my friends, especially not since they loved the place. For the second serving, I went all in on their chinese fried selection, which was very limited, as most trays were empty. After having mixed and matched between what my friends recommended, I finally had a plate with stuff that looked decent. I didn't go for the rice/sauce combo, as it had been in the container way too long and had a nice thin layer of oil in the side as well. It didn't look appealing at all. Getting back to the table, it was a very bland experience overall, except for their spring roll. They did have unlimited icecream though. When asking if we could get a price reduction to them not having sushi, the waiter just smiled and said no. Not even free drinks (we all had either water or soda).
