For my husband - she had her phone going off the entire time, left multiple times in between and was more rubbing his body instead of massaging. For myself- she told me she didn't know how to massage because her hands were too tiny and her solution was to use the hot stones and jab them into my body. There was no form whatsoever. I received a 90-minute massage for $100.00 - very reasonable. My massage therapist was Hannah, who had amongst the strongest hands I've experienced - great for knots and tight areas. The opening for my face was very comfortable, but not adjustable. They have parallel rails in the ceiling, which allows the masseuse to hold them, straddle you while you are face-down, and very effectively use their elbows and knees. I had had this once before and like it - although the person sitting on you may be off-putting for some. She spent a very long portion of the 90 minutes on my neck, shoulders and back. Which was great. She didn't use as much oil/lotion as I am used to, so some of it felt a bit rough, but I had asked for deep pressure and was ok with it. She also remained relatively silent during the massage, which I prefer. All-in-all, it was a very good massage. My only minor issue was I would have preferred for oil/lotion for less friction. However, I was very off-put at check out, when I handed back my signed credit card receipt with a $20.00 (20%) tip. The manager looked disapprovingly at it and said that Hannah had worked very hard because I had very tight muscles, and said she deserved a higher tip. I cannot recall ever in my life having someone question a 20% tip and suggest it wasn't enough. I added a $5.00 bill on top of the receipt and bid my goodbyes. Secondly several times she went in and out of the room because the front door opened and the bell went off, and then there was loud talking outside the room, and there wasn't any make up time for these interruptions. It really gets you out of the relaxation zone which is why I go there. I just like to lie down, have my back worked over and leave relaxed. It was difficult in that atmosphere. You have to pay up front and I used to include tip even before the massage since I used a card. Now I pay with cash and can pay the tip based on service, not expectation.

The massage was very painful, awkward and uncomfortable with most of it being under a hot towel which was stifling. She just kept pressing into me and using the weight of her arms and elbows. When I asked her if she would use oil, she said "oil?" Then she took the towels completely off and left me with no cover at all. After a few minutes she put one towel loosely back on me but it kept sliding off. When the massage was over, she used an app on her phone to translate her message to English. She informed me that she couldn't get my card to work on her device and that I needed to wait for her boss. I just wanted to leave and I happened to also have cash so I paid her in cash and left. Later, when I checked my bank statement, she had charged me and lied about it and so I ended up paying twice....once on the card and once in cash. When I went back to complain, she lied to her boss who showed up. She told him that I never paid her the cash. These people only care about the money and will use any means to get it including lying and stealing from their clients. I filed a complaint to my bank to get this resolved. Horrible massage and a horrible business.
