They provided a good rate and were able to work within my available time frames. They arrived within the window, got the couch out quickly, and even helped me move another piece of furniture that was in the way of the couch. This wasn't the absolute cheapest quote I got, but they had great reviews from Yelpers I trust, and they were still in the bottom few prices for quotes.

Next time I have dirt to be hauled I will definitely give them a call.

These guys are FANTASTIC, and you can't get better pricing. Their services aren't limited to junk hauling either as they should be getting their contractor's lic soon, so we are having them quote on our backyard deck framing and pilings! Can't say enough good things about them, VERY nice people, and very professional! UPDATE 1/2012: Have Used Scott probably 4 times since for my home as well as debris from 2 other places i have helped remodel. . . . ALWAYS AWESOME!! UPDATE 3/2013: Still awesome!!!!

Every single company or agency I called was dumbstruck, and were either too scared to touch the job or required payment just to come out for an estimate. Not Green Earth. Rick and his Bobcat came to the rescue, excavating the dirt around it and making sure the contents didn't spill. He even hauled it away! Rick reminds me of the old-school trade guys who simply got the job done: friendly and accommodating even under duress. Of course, this works both ways; if the client has respect for the contractor and the situations under which he or she is working, then everybody wins. I highly recommend Green Earth Construction. I got a quote from Richie and one other contractor in Concord for buildable removal, but decided to go with Richie even though his quote came in a little higher. He did a good job answering my questions and I like that he is local. Richie was able to get the permits and start the job ~6 weeks later. Appreciate he was a willing to coordinate around my business trip. Also, the weekend before they were to start we found out one of our neighbors was planning a backyard gathering on Monday. I texted Richie on the weekend and he said no problem, they would start on Tuesday. Once the team showed up to start the job, they were great at communicating what they were planning each day. They had to remove a section of fence and a small greenhouse to gain access. They also decided not to risk damaging our old driveway with the heavy trucks, so fill dirt was dumped in the street and transferred to the backyard with the bobcat. This showed me that they really care and are thoughtful about what they are doing. I was able to go to work each day without worrying about being there to supervise. The team showed up each day as scheduled and after the concrete demo, rebar cutting, ~28 truck loads of dirt dumped in the hole and compacted, the job was completed in ~9 business days as estimated. They did a good job cleaning up and hauling everything away. ~2 weeks later I passed the city inspection and received the signed permit. Thanks again to Richie, Saul and the demo team for providing a stress free pool removal service!
