The Apple farm is local quality at its finest, I stop in here too often! My favorite purchase so…read morefar are the sparkling juices. The Apple raspberry is delicious, they come in these pretty bottles with lovely labeling and are very reasonably priced. They also offer ciders here which are pretty tasty too! I'll be giving some of their other products a try soon, the Apple jam and tomato ketchup are on my list. They also sell really great crisps here so pick up a snack while you browse their Apple offerings! In the summer they offer camping so I'm looking forward to that as soon as it warms up! Very happy to be local to such a fine farm in Tipperary, stop in for sure!

I have previously called this the champagne of apple juices and see no reason whatsoever to change my mind after my most recent tasting which came at the weekend when I bought a couple of bottles (€2.50 for a small bottle but well worth it) of this premium apple juice from The Pantry Stand in the Midleton Food Market. The Pantry obviously has good taste as this is available in their Midleton restaurant. How is it made? "This is a premium apple juice, made from premium apples, but once the juice is pressed, we treat it a bit differently. Instead of immediately bottling, we carbonate the juice by adding fizz. This is done using carbon dioxide gas, which is pumped into the juice in a special vessel. The juice is then cold-filled into our flip-top bottles, pasteurised, and labelled." For more info, look up their interesting website. I'm far from an expert on apple juices but have tasted quite a few in Europe, particularly in Austria and Switzerland, but never a sparkling one and never one as beautiful as this. This is magic and should be on the lists of more restaurants. Just a beautiful Irish product. The Apple Farm should be very proud of it.

I LOVE Farmers Markets like totally love them! And this one does not diappoint, its definitly one…read morethat does more food than crafts but there are stalls that sell things like artwork, bicycles and strange furniture made out of curved wood. Other than that you can get fresh bread, fruit and veg, lots of yummy cakes and there are even gluten free cakes which is so good when I am visiting coeliac friends, you can get them something different to the normal boring fare they are offered in supermarkets. The last good thing about this market is its beautiful surroundings of the craft centre courtyard in Marlay park, all around the stalls are the lovely stone walls of the local craft shops, so quaint!

They've got local food merchants selling all kinds of things from crepes to jams, etc. Everything smells so good it's so hard to know where to begin. They've also got some crafty sort of stalls, which are great for a unique gift for a friend's birthday. I have to admit that my favourite stall is the used book one. I got a JD Salinger book there for a euro!! I can't pass a book store without lusting after half the books in the shop, but when they come with such a great price tag I really can't help myself. I'm just upset that I need bus fare home otherwise I would have bought more!
