Pros: the flowers are beautiful and are exactly as I ordered. They came on time for Mother's Day, but I did order very far in advance to avoid the rush of orders. Cons: when I put in the online order for the flowers, the next day and every single day after (even as of this morning of writing this!) I have received spam calls from various phone numbers throughout with New York State area codes. I've gone from a couple of spam calls a week to 4-5 a day, and this is after going through my call log to block numbers every few days. I know spam calls are common, but very interesting all these spam calls I receive daily only from New York City/NY State phone numbers, I think are directly contributed to Rose Box NYC. I went back to read their privacy statement on their website, and it does say that they do share your contact information with third parties without any ways to opt out. I would never order with this company if I knew I would forever be getting spam calls. read more

Terrible. Ordered guaranteed delivery for Mother's Day and just did not show up. Emailed, called and left messages and was left with "I don't know". Delivered 3 days later after I called 10 times! For $350 dollar flowers offered me $40 gift card, but never sent it or followed up on my email. I try to support small businesses and give grace on mistakes, but they just don't car. My dad passed unexpectedly, he wasn't sick, no warning, his asthma got the best of him. My step mother and I are making the arrangements to bury my dad, when I realize I'm short on cash and short on time to place an order for next day arrangements. I look on Afterpay and Klarna for pay delay options and come across ROSE BOX NYC. I originally saw a few others, but since Rose Box did not charge additional monies for next day pick up, no matter the size of the arrangement, I go with them. They offered 20% at checkout as a first time user so that was also very helpful. I normally read and review before purchasing items but in my grief I forgot. I wound up ordering a mirror box with 12 night blue roses, totaling a little under $250. I check yelp and see a few reviews that give me pause and wonder if I should cancel. Decided to send an email and hope for the best since time is of the essence. I receive a call the next morning confirming my time for pick up, the young lady was very sweet and helpful. Here's why I gave four instead of five stars, the set up of the location. I'm all for women owning their own businesses, however a sign would be nice. Some directions stepping off the elevator would help, anything that would just tell me I'm in the right place would suffice. I roam the second floor of their location until I ask the receptionist of a law firm. Apparently their office is like an office within an office within an office? Anywho, the note on the mirror box stated "R.I.P. We Miss and Love You Dad", so the owners included a single night blue rose as a gesture for my mourning, which I found incredibly sweet. All n all, I'd use Rose Box NYC again, pricing is a tad steep but so is every other acrylic rose company out there. read more

Ordered a small $100.00 (4 roses) for my dear friend who likes purple. I'm pleased with the shipment being tied down so they would not get damaged or move at all. Now, having ordered the box shape with the 4 off of the Today show, Jill's steals and deals, I had to order an arrangement for myself. Instead of the box I ordered the small wood mini round in white to display on my coffee table over Christmas. It will match nicely with the gray and white color scheme with Santa's, Nambe' Santa, sleigh and the Reindeer, etc. I usually order a large white orchid for $75.00 which lasts 3-4 months so this is a change for me and a much higher expense. I'm concerned it might look too small on the table with the other items. In any case, I'm looking forward to receiving it and hope my decision to go much further works well. My first time ever giving a review on any business Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day, they got delayed by hole day. I only ordered from them because they advertised on their website that flowers, be delivered on Valentine's Day. When I called rosebox to try and get help with my order , they said it was UPS and not them. I have purchased before with this company. I would say each time has been an issue. From the packing of the flowers, to the AWFUL customer service. This company is possibly one of the worst. Diane, has to be one of the most ignorant employees, as she blames others for her mistakes, while patting herself on her back at the same time. I've spent around $1500 with this place on two different occasions and every time it's an issue. I would definitely say beware, if your flowers come in damaged, you need to jump through hoops, if a rose is broken or missing (they will send you a replacement) do not expect to get the correct colored flower in to replace the damaged one. Then Diane will say that she put the correct information in but someone else messed up. This company and their employees do not own up to their mistakes, they just point fingers. It looks like they sent me a bunch of bleached white flowers from Michael's craft store and sprayed some Jo Malone perfume all over it. I ordered a medium rose box ($336.43, 20+ roses) and they delivered a mini rose box (~$100, 5 roses). They asked for pictures. I sent pictures -- No response from them. I called 2x -- every time they say "this is the call center, may I have your name and number to have them call you back"? They never call back. They've not communicated whatsoever. The roses were nice. But the packing was horrible. USPS left out in the rain, which can happen, but when you open the box there was no protective covering over the flowers. So I received this box of roses for my birthday, and I was surprised to see how fake they look. They just put heads of roses on a stick and put them in some type of plastic base inside of the box. They don't smell anything close to real roses, and they started to FADE away after 3 months (when they claim that their 'fresh cut roses'will last a year). I have never put them under direct sun, never cleaned them with any cleaner. So I contacted their customer service, noticing that I followed all their maintenance instructions. They asked for a photo and said they will follow up shortly. Guess what, a MONTH after I had to reach out myself just to see their generic answer- we believe you had them under direct sun... poor customer service. Roses look like the one you can get from China on eBay in a bulk for .99 cents. I guess they charge us $600 just for a box roses come with... people, please stay away from this company!! read more
