Rosato is the 'fancier' restaurant on the resort. Dress Code: dressy but not necessarily formal. No tank tops, shorts, or slippers. Ladies are encouraged to wear a dress or a nice dress shirt with business casual bottoms. Men should put on a nice dress shirt. No hats. Service: I can tell they pride themselves in service since this place is more of the upscale restaurant on the property. All of the staff were very attentive and courteous at every request. Food: I know the kitchen tries, and while I can agree the presentation nails it -- the taste is just not there. All of pastas had zero flavor and likely not even a sprinkle of salt. We tried to add salt and pepper to our food but nothing worked. It was all very bland. Since our entire meal was comped because of our all-inclusive package, we ended leaving a nice tip anyway because of the service and ambiance. I'm just warning my fellow Yelpers that if you're looking for a foodie experience with taste and creativity, you'll likely not find it at this restaurant.

Rosato is probably one of the better all inclusive restaurants at the resort. I love the decor and the ambiance. Although the hallway to the restaurant can get quiet loud at times and very windy. The waiters were extremely polite, nice and accommodating. We felt very welcomed dining there. I would recommend the duck dish. It was very good. A bit on the salty side but the dish was made well. The creme brulee was also good. (i've had better when i was on a cruise boat) The side dish of spaghetti wasnt bad either. *Tip* If ordering soda, make sure to ask them for a canned soda instead of their 'fountain" kind. After drinking watered down, non fizzy soda, I realized I just had to ask for a canned soda instead.

My husband's steak with potatoes and veggies

We dined at this restaurant and overall the food was okay.I had the penne pasta with shrimp and veggies. They actually forgot my shrimp but when I asked about it they brought it out. My son had a meat sauce spaghetti and my husband had steak with potatoes.Overall, the food was bland and not full of flavor. The best thing about this restaurant are the waiters. They literally stand near your table and cater to your needs. Thanks Rosato!

So good...did not disappoint! We were the first people in line and my girlfriend started to chat it up with the newlyweds. They mentioned the food is so good that it was their 3rd meal at Rosato. The host, waitresses and waiters were incredibly accommodating and just nice, it was a great time.

Very good Italian restaurant and had the best classic lasagna I have ever had!! Yum!! I would say that this place and la vichieria were my fav at Fiesta Americana

"Caeser salad"

I am staying at the resort and am completely astonished that I had to wait a whole hour for this joke of a Caeser salad that was $20!!!! I am usually not the type of person to write these reviews but I feel like I have to save people from wasting there money on this joke of a restaurant. It had been an hour and thirty minutes and I am still waiting for my food. The service is horrible and the quality of the food is terrible. I would shut this terrible place down if I could. Do NOT go here and waste your money. IT IS NOT WORTH THE TIME NOR MONEY I WOULD GIVE A ZERO STAR REVIEW IF I COULD. I am absolutely flabbergasted.

Awesome creme brulee with strawberry meringue and raspberry sauce.

Beautiful views from tables near windows; delicious Italian food (caprese, ceasar and green salad with bacon, candied pecans and lemon vinagrette/beef tournedos/gnocchi/tortellini/tiramisu and creme brulee for dessert). We were seated quickly and given menus, but then it took twenty minutes to get waters and another ten minutes to give our orders. Slow paced dining is usually okay, but we were hangry after flying all day to get here. Fernando was a good waiter.

Had to wait an hour to get a table and it was not worth the wait. We should've known better than to get Italian food in Mexico. The pasta was watery w bad sauce and the duck was chewy. Deserts were good and the bread they serve is very good.

No vegetarian options. Service was terrible. We asked for a birthday special, but it wasn't honored.

Highlights were the spaghetti and meatballs and seafood linguine. If you read nothing else from my review, get the chocolate mousse!! This spot is a bit inconspicuous, but with maps we were able to find it. From the outside you would never expect such a warm and inviting dining atmosphere. The lush plants and open roof add to the ambience, with an old-world Italian vibe inside. Our waiter, Oscar, was so friendly attentive throughout our dining experience. I had made mention in the reservation about it being my fiancés birthday, but had stepped away and mentioned it to Oscar to ensure they could sing happy birthday to him. We started with drinks, an Aperol Spritz for me and The Godfather for him. Mine was light and refreshing, his was strong and definitely did not skimp on the alcohol. We enjoyed the bread service, which was a delicious crispy loaf accompanied by olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. For our entrees, we ordered the Mama's Sunday Gravy (with an extra meatball) and the Grilled Prawns. Their entrees are all very large and are intended to be served family style. I ironically do not like pasta, so that's why I opted for the grilled prawns as it's one of the few items on the menu that does not have pasta. My fiance thoroughly enjoyed Mama's Sunday Gravy, stating it was one of the best Italian dishes he's ever had. He's even vacationed in Italy and grew up in a half Italian household, so that's saying a lot. He thought the sausage and meatballs were both packed with flavor and had the perfect consistency. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was rich without being overpowered by herbs. True to form, the entree was so large that he ended up taking half back to the hotel for lunch the next day. The grilled prawns were okay. I found the to be overcooked, but when the pesto was added, it was a nice bite with the crustini. At the end of our meal, Oscar and a few of the other waiters came to our table, delivering a delicious duo of cannolis and sang happy birthday to my fiance. Although we were both stuffed, we managed to split one of the cannolis and took the other to-go. The cannolis were so good, and I'm not a huge fan of cannolis. The shell was thin and packed with a delicious filling. The nut and chocolate chip mixture added a great texture and flavor contrast. This was a perfect way to celebrate my fiancés 40th birthday. Thank you Oscar and the rest of the staff at Salvatore G for making it such a special night. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

The waitor was attentive and he brought out complimentary dessert for the table following our meal. You've got a tree growing in the middle of the restaurant, are there going to be some bugs in an open air restaurant, hell yes there is. But who cares, you're in Cabo on vacation, and you just took a scorpion shot at the cantina next door. 10/10 Recommend!

Roasted Grill & Bar was an absolute highlight of our recent trip to Cabo! We planned one evening…read moreout for dinner and landed on Roasted in downtown Cabo, and we hit the jackpot! The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!
