Sal was responsive and made sure the driver was there. Our flight was delayed but the driver was still there. Same charge and great driver with the car seats strapped in by the fire department. They were rock solid.

Taxi rate calculators estimated $7-$9 for the ride, so I expected similar cost. We the called back to confirm a car on the way, they took payment. To my surprise it was $36. A second surprise came when the car picking me up was an Uber. So apparently, they used my $36 to book me an $8 Uber ride. The Uber driver was also surprised.

The driver who picked me up from the train station even waited around FORTY MINUTES for my train to arrive (it was running really late), declining three fares so that he could be sure to be there when I arrived - AMAZING. That's already enough to get him a hefty tip, but beyond that he was also really friendly, a very safe/courteous driver, and he got me to my destination quickly and efficiently (without weaving and speeding). Note again that this is without jacking up the rates - really, where's the down-side? Reduce your carbon footprint and receive great service without paying any more for it than you would for a rude, reckless driver from one of the bigger/better known companies. Apparently they also do limo service, though I haven't yet tried that. If I lived in the Chicago area rather than merely visiting I would definitely put these guys on speed-dial. Its a personal choice to take a cab; maybe its also a choice if you have a phone can can't downlead an app. Lately when I have been in a cab it feels like the cab driver has a fried curry sandwhich and has not showered in a few days. These same people will tell you right away business is slow. I stepped into one of these cabs last week and the guy driving was from Jamaica. I myself eat alot of jerk chicken that I make myself but I dont know where to find the "jerk Chicken BO" cologne that this guy had. It was horrendous. I needed a shower right after. This sounds kind of extreme i know. But if you are a taxi driver please shower at least once or 2 times a day, try not to eat things that are soo spicy that it leaks from ever pore in your body, maybe clean the car once a week, and then once your car is clean and you dont wreak of last Sunday's chicken vindaloo that was overspiced with cayenne pepper and paprika then start to pick up passengers. This is a problem that plagues most cabs I have taken lately.

I sent over the information and he confirmed with the pricing. My driver arrived promptly (actually early!) and was very pleasant. The vehicle was very nice, clean and smelled fresh too...not your typical cab. I was impressed. I didn't really talk to the driver as I was preoccupied with work emails; however, he was very nice.
