Round trip Bloomingdale IL - Midway Airport. Once again, best service, experience & price. Love this company!

Called the day before my trip to get a reservation to go to O'Hare the following morning. Was told it would be $40.00. The gentleman who should in the morning was very nice and friendly and had a nice clean car. The only thing I didn't know that wasn't told to me when I booked the reservation, is that the price of tolls were extra and added onto the cost of the ride. Which was fine, but would of like to of known that up front before booking. read more

I needed a taxi to Midway and I called the day before based on the positive Yelp reviews. Greg picked up on my first call, agreed to everything but was in the car at the time and asked me to text him the information...and advised he would confirm back via text. I sent over the information and he confirmed with the pricing. My driver arrived promptly (actually early!) and was very pleasant. The vehicle was very nice, clean and smelled fresh too...not your typical cab. I was impressed. I didn't really talk to the driver as I was preoccupied with work emails; however, he was very nice. As we got closer to the airport I asked a couple questions and he was full of knowledge! When he dropped me off he wished me a safe flight. Great service! I will for sure use Ever Ready in the future!!! Thank you!! read more

Yelp reviews are what brought us to Ever Ready Taxi. Also looking for dependable airport service for a daughter we were dropping off for college. Contact and reservation made via text. Driver arrived a few minutes early, loaded bags. He was friendly and helpful. Arrived O'hare safe and on time. A good choice. read more

Perfect service and fair price from Schaumburg to Ohare airport. I was recommended to Greg by a friend who used him several times. It took less than 2 min and couple text to set the pickup. He was right on time, great conversation, got me there quickly. I'll call him anytime need arranged ride. read more

Excellent on-time service. I chose them because they are local, and the price was competitive - maybe a little more, but I prefer giving my money to local business when I have the opportunity even if it costs a couple dollars more. Both times we used them, the drivers were curteous, prompt and got us to our destinations safely. The cars they drove were clean and all the safety equipment worked properly. I would definitely use them again. read more

Been using Ever Ready for a while now. Was waiting for my ride this morning to the airport and it never showed up. I texted to ask where my ride was with no response. I missed my flight as a result. The least you could have done is apologized. Never again. read more

I needed a short lift (about 4 miles/8 minutes) from home to the train. Another taxi provider generated an online quote between $14-19. Instead, I sent an email to Ever Ready to book a pick-up. They confirmed via text message a few hours later. The quoted price was several dollars less than other taxi services. The owner was friendly enough, but never attempted (nor offered) to help with my bag. The price was right, though, and the service area is pretty good. I'd use them again. read more

I found Ever Ready on yelp and decided to give it a try. I spoke with Greg the owner and he was very friendly. Going away for business I needed a taxi who could pick up my grandmother and then drive her home to the city. Greg assured me he would take good care of her, making sure she made it door to door safely. I explained that my grandma can be stubborn at times and prefers to take the bus, I told him no matter what she says he MUST take her home. He told me he understood and that she would be taken care of. He arrived on time to pick her up and she couldn't stop telling me how nice he was and how great of service he provided. You don't expect much from cabs these days so it's nice to see someone who actually takes pride in his work. On the trip home to Rogers Park there was a terrible storm with uprooted trees and craziness. Like I knew she would, my grandma tried to tell Greg to drop her off at a nearby bus, but he refused and said he promised me he would take her home. She again called me to rave about how nice he was and how enjoyable the ride and company were. Thank you Greg for taking such great care of my grandmother and for doing what you said you would do! I'll be calling you again and won't be using any other local cab company. read more

Previously I tried using other taxis to get to an from O'Hare (ORD). After numerous failures and a couple that involved frenetic last-minute drive-myself-to-the-airport-and-pay-for-expensive-parkking-for-days I gave up on unreliable inexpensive taxis and resigned myself to paying for reliable expensive limo rides to the airport. Fortunately I saw Greg's flyer in a local business and had a hunch a local entrepreneur would offer better service than a faceless company. I'm glad I gave it one more chance since I've been using Greg for many years now and he or his associate has always been on-time and never let me down. Basically, limo-caliber reliability at taxi prices. I don't need a towncar or a stretch, I do need reliability, so Ever Ready is a great find. I'm very happy that I can txt Greg all my details in one message (pick up time & place, departing flight, returning time and flight) and then just txt him again from the airport when I return. Super convenient and having the textual record is nice. read more

Started using Greg /Everready during its fledgling period. Best ways describe his service and affiliate fleet of servicers: - Courteous - Accommodating (especially when I've 'tested' them with last min transportation requests :- ) - Punctual - Dependable All of these traits to go along with integrity and character are cornerstones for a thriving and sustainable business. Greg has built this type of service that anyone who calls on it (strongly recommended) will have the pleasure of experiencing. Very fortunate to have done a random Google seachb 4 years ago for a local airport transportation company [while living in Roselle]. I now live in Algonquin, but never hesitated to continue giving my business to Greg and the Everready team. God bless! read more

First time customer, but will be using them again. They were on time and very friendly. The driver drove safely and confidently to O'Hare. Was happy with their service. Great price too read more

Nowadays everyone uses Uber but personally I like to do my research, plan ahead, and know exactly who will be driving me in advance. I decided to call a local taxi service company. I contacted Ever Ready 2 days in advance to make a reservation for a mini-van to go to O'Hare since my parents would be bringing 2 big boxes, 2 XL luggages, and 2 carry ons. I spoke to Greg who was courteous on the phone and took down all the necessary information and reassured me everything would fit. He arrived to pick up my parents on time and with a nice clean mini-van with plenty of room for all their boxes and luggage. If you are looking for a dependable, courteous, affordable, and responsible taxi service I highly recommend using Ever Ready Taxi. I will definitely use their services again. read more

A belated review for a mid-June trip to O'Hare. Greg arrived early and waited patiently. The cab was spotless, he was professional, congenial and found our somewhat obscure location where we were meeting our travel companions. Later we realized a cell phone had been left which was critical for our international destination. I called Greg who understood the urgency, coordinated with our apartment management, picked up and delivered the phone before our flight. Of course we covered the second trip but he did not charge extra for the rushed effort and extra work it required. Ever Ready will be our strongly preferred service for the future. read more

Greg was dependable & professional. Our pick up time for the airport was 4:30 am. He arrived at our house at 4:15 am. The young man who picked us up at O'Hare for our return flight was also on time. Very pleasant young man. The smoothest trip we have ever had to and from O'Hare read more

I called Ever Ready on the recommendation of a friend. I was frustrated with the cab company I had previously called bc I left a msg but never got a confirmation. Upon calling Ever Ready, I got to talk with an actual person, Greg. He took my order quickly and efficiently. The cab was there not only on time, but 5 minutes early, a very good thing! Since then, I call him for every ride I need and have not been disappointed. I highly recommend. read more

Ever Ready Taxi is my go-to ride to the airport whenever I travel. They are very reliable, respectful and responsive. These are the three qualities that ensures that every trip I take starts and ends smoothly without stress. There were several occasions when my flights coming back to OHare were severely delayed coming back past midnight. But whenever I land, my ride was waiting to get me home quickly. I've had a couple of regular drivers who make my trip even more pleasant. It's always nice to know who is taking me to and back from the airport safely in clean vehicles. Tom is one such driver whose car is impeccably clean. Highly recommend Greg and his team. read more

I've used Greg a couple of times for business trips to O'Hare. Fares are the best in the area and rides always arrive ahead of time. Greg will keep in touch with you through the entire process. I highly recommend using this company especially if you like great prompt service at a reasonable price. read more

The only thing I can say is that they showed up on time. A less than 20 minute ride to the airport turned into almost 45 minutes. The driver didn't know how to get to the airport and took LOCAL the entire way. Completely unacceptable to hire drivers or send drivers to areas they are not familiar with. I rather have a non-english speaking person who knows where there going. The unbelievable part is you can see I-294 from my house and with smartphones and GPS it's inexcusable not to know how to get somewhere. Only book if you allow extra time, thankfully I did. read more

We had an excellent experience with Ever Ready taxi from Glen Ellyn to O'Hare. Greg answered my messages promptly, and our driver showed up early. The car was clean and comfortable. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend. read more

I have used Greg & his crew for years with excellent service. They recently helped me out by transporting my son to & from his program for 2 wks. He enjoyed the drivers and has made a few new friends. When he's available for last minute trips everyone wins. Text him your request and he follows up with a response quickly!! Thanks Greg & crew ~ you have made my life easier once again. read more

We use Ever Ready Taxi every time we need a ride to/from O'Hare. They are always prompt and friendly, with nice vehicles. Today I was travel-weary and left my carry on in the car. It contained my brand-new computer, wallet and credit cards. I contacted Greg, who reached out to the driver and my bag was safely returned. I was her last fare after a long day and she had to go back out again to return it. I would highly recommend Ever Ready and will continue to be a loyal customer. read more

I needed to take a cab to O'Hare on an early Monday morning and after calling around, everyone was busy! I called Ever Ready taxi and spoke with Greg. He informed me Mondays are always the busiest but would get me to the airport. I had to be out the house bright and early and told Greg I needed a cab at 5:45am. I received a call at 5:35am letting me know the driver was outside my house waiting for me! I couldn't believe they were early! This thrilled me because I've had several experiences where cab drivers were no call/no show. Greg's daughter, Jill was an excellent driver and kept me entertained with her stories of healthy eating and exercising. I will most definitely be using this taxi service again. I appreciate their promptness and excellent service. Highly recommended! read more

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with this company! I needed a taxi at the last minute to take me to St. Alexius for an outpatient procedure. I was anxious about having to use a taxi service, having had terrible experiences in the past with other companies being late, not showing up, etc. I was so pleased to have my fears allayed, when my taxi from this company arrived right on time. Greg was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend using this taxi service, they're definitely a cut-above the rest! read more

Very reliable taxi service. You can just text the owner/operator, Greg & he will find a reliable driver to pick you up. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Greg also does tours of downtown Chicago. Keep this in mind if you have guests coming in from out of town on a day you have to work. He will pick up your guests in the burbs, give your guests a tour, & take them back to the burbs. We did this recently & our guests loved it. read more

Greg is excellent! He came on time, the car was clean conversation were a blessing! He was even able to make a way to help bring my little girl to school on short notice. Will highly recommend his services. I have hired his cab a few times. read more

Greg was so awesome picked us up at the start and end of our trip. Was on time, courteous drivers clean and he managed a party of 8 with a car seat with ease! Thank you for being the least stressful part of our trip! read more

Greg is very responsive and my driver was absolutely terrific - - very reliable - pricing was fair - probably not the least expensive but very fair and worth every cent - clean and courteous, safe and prompt!!! The only service I will use in the Schaumburg, Roselle, Hanover Park area. read more

Greg (the owner) actually helped me out even though I was outside his area for a cab! Unheard of in terms of great customer service!!! And he helped me during an emergency time in which I had to get to multiple places around Chicago fast in a 24 hour period. Kind, courteous, and prompt service. Excellent attitude and customer care. And it was reasonably priced too. The owner of this company is not only great at what he does in car service, but a mensch and all around great guy. If you are in his area of service, pass by the competition and call Ever Ready Taxi. It's a great cab for a fair price. read more

Horrible Service!! He requested Uber to pick me up! The total for the Uber fare was $5 and some change. He charged me $15!!! For 3.5 miles total!!! Wow taking advantage of Uber Drivers!!! What a Scam!!!!!! Stay away from this Taxi Business!! read more

I have used the services of Ever Ready Taxi many times. Mr. Greg, his drivers and the company as a whole are very reliable, professional, trustworthy, friendly and dependable. They are always on time and the rates are way better than any other taxi companies. Service is exceptional. Their cars are very clean ! I would not use any other taxi company other than Ever Ready Taxi! If you ever need to use the services of a taxi company, use Ever Ready Taxi! You would not be disappointed! Thanks so much Mr. Greg for the great service you have provided me many times! read more

I called Greg for a taxi. I just needed to go pick up my car from an auto repair shop less than 5 miles away. He said he was busy with another customer and could come in 1 hour. Well, he sent me an Uber driver instead and told me not to pay the Uber driver but to send him a check or give him my credit card information. I asked him should I tip the driver and he said yes. The cost of the Uber ride (the driver showed me the amount) was $5.62 so I gave him a $3 tip. Greg told meI had to pay Everready taxi $9!! Really? I never used Uber before and now I find out the tip is included!! It cost me $11.00 to go less than 5 miles to pick up my car!! What a rip off!! I was trying to be nice and give the Taxi my business and instead I get ripped off!! Never again. I will download the Uber app myself!!! DO NOT USE EVERREADY TAXI IN ROSELLE, IL. GREG IS A CROOK!!! read more

Prompt ride to the airport in a clean cab. Greg kept in contact with me for our return flight and was very helpful when I gave him the wrong return date and then our flight was delayed. With all the issues we had with our return flight our cab was not one of them. They were there waiting after we got our luggage. We will use this company again. read more

I ordered an airport drop off and pick up 12 days later. The drop off went off without a hitch. When I returned and texted Ever Ready that my plane had landed and I was waiting for my luggage, the response was "Customs?" as I had arrived on an international flight. I advised we had gone through customs in Ireland. I spoke to the owner at 6:45 who said the driver was picking up another customer in Bloomingdale and that he should be there to pick me up in 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes later he came. Of interest, is that my pick up and drop off was at my mother's house in Bloomingdale. When I finally arrived at her house, she told me the taxi was sitting in front of her house at ~6:30 pm. This was ~10 minutes after I had orginally texted the owner. They completely messed up my request and lied to me to try to get out of it. If they told the truth and said there was a mix-up and they thought it was a drop off at the airport and not a pick-up, I would have been more understanding. I will never use them again. They are liars and cannot be trusted read more

The driver responded my call immediately. He arrived on time. Will definitely use him again.

Great taxi service! On time (early, in fact), reliable, responsive, and very flexible! I called the night before an early morning flight for a taxi pick-up in Oak Park, IL to O'Hare airport. I knew Oak Park would be far out of range, but I wanted to see if it could work based on their high Yelp reviews. Greg, the owner, was very responsive and positive - offering to do it at a rate just slightly higher than what I'd pay a local company. All in all, I was more than willing to pay the small increase if it meant getting an on time pick up from a reliable company. Definitely would use again and recommend! read more

We have been using Greg's taxi service for 4 years now for both business and personal travel, both O'Hare and Midway service and would recommend his excellent service to everyone! He is so very personable and dependable and such a pleasure to 'do business with'. We have a huge family vacation coming up and have reserved him to take care of all our 'babies' with service to O'Hare and Midway from several different times and locations and would NOT have considered anyone else. He will even keep our grandbabies' car seats until their return trip home. GREAT service and competitive rates!!!! read more

Dependable, prices are fair, and with a taxi service , being on time and there is everything, have used Greg many times, always on time!!! five stars !! read more

I decided to try out Every Ready because they sent a coupon for airport transportation in the mail. I'm glad I did! Even without the coupon, the flat rate from Roselle to O'hare is the same as American, which is the cheapest around. But the service I received was much better, so I'll definitely go back. It's a small operation, when you call you speak directly with Greg, the owner, who will also likely be driving you. He is very friendly and when I made my reservation, he made sure to verify all of the details of my trip, including information for my return flight, so he could track it online. The transportation to & from the airport went off without a hitch. When picking us up at our home, he backed the van into the driveway to make loading easier. That's something I've never had a taxi do before. Of course it didn't really matter since he did all of the loading for us. What was also nice is when I called him for our pickup from O'hare, his immediate response was "Welcome back! How was your trip?" Personal touches like that, as well as the low price and the fact that it's a local business, are all reasons why I'll use Ever Ready again in the future. read more
