Very few times in our lives do we buy something at a deep discount AND get white glove,…read moreBuckingham-Palace-level service while doing so. That's precisely what happened when I purchased a Tombolini suit from AK Rikk's in early September. I paid dimes on the dollar, but got a remarkable product shipped to me (for free --- and in a valet-sized boxed; I mean, the suit was literally hanging from a makeshift mailable wardrobe). AK Rikk's is expensive (even when it's discounted), but it is a rare jewel in a world of cut-glass-fast-fashion-fakes, and one of the few vibrant retail clothing palaces that still exist in this world of dead malls and Ebay deadstocks. If you can't get to AK Rikk's in person (as I couldn't), check them out on YouTube. This is the first thing I've purchased from them (on their website), and I don't know if there will be anything else from them in my future, but it's a Wilkes-Bashford, Mitchell's, Bergdorf-Goodman, Neiman Marcus level shopping experience from start to finish. It's north of Paul Stuart (price-wise), but that "north" extends all the way to Heaven (experientially).

And the store is spacious yet full of stuff...how do shopowners accomplish that bit of magic? We found gifts at different price points including for my grade school niece (never buy expensive jewelry for that age group) and a lovely velvet smoking jacket for me... which why am I not wearing that right now? The staff was lovely and helpful, pointing out sales and options and explaining the store's return policy. Did I mention it's in an old gas station? Cleanest former service station I've ever seen!

If one orders online and has to return an item, how is that item handled based on the fact that one was unlikely wearing a mask at home while trying it on? Do parasites or communicable diseases not count at home?, and what if a client had covid? You'd never know so how absolutely ridiculous your statement is. And 'extending this expectation to clients' again is a load of malarkey. That's a roundabout way of communism at play. 'Do it our way or you will be denied service' Perhaps you should review CDC recommendations again. Heir Fauci has stated from his own mouth that masks do nothing but placate the wearer. Ummm, yeah. Anyone who has a lick of common sense can figure this was a scam. Too bad for you Nordstrom Rack, you've lost a bunch of customers because of your politically correct/woke policies. I find it very telling that your stores, at least the last two I saw, were low in stock of most items. The stores seemed bare. Maybe it's a sign that the silent majority is done with your BS

I like classic pieces and was happy to see some at Covet. The store is full of super cute items, like rompers and dresses with cutouts, which seem to be very popular lately. I did find several dresses that I would consider more classic styles, including a wrap dress that I got for $30! It's airy and comfortable and great for all the hot weather we've been having. I love following Covet on Instagram, where they often post their new items and styling ideas. I don't consider myself super stylish, but Covet is a place to find something you feel comfortable and confident in. I love that this store is woman owned and local - it's nice to support a small business rather than buying something on Amazon. I loved seeing inclusive sizing and models on their Instagram! There was a great sale rack when I went in, and I saw prices in different ranges. They also have jewelry, gifts, and accessories like sunglasses, sandals, hats, and purses. From now on, any time I'm on Cherry Street, Covet will be a regular stop for me!
