I found rosa's cleaning service thru yelp. Because of the good reviews I received, I decided to hire her service,
The first service which was deep cleaning, her team did a good job. I was asked to pay with the amount which was higher than what was initially quoted. The explanation I got was because it was the first there's a lot of work to do but when it becomes more frequent like once a month, the charge wil be less. I paid it for a couple of reasons, first the explanation seemed to be acceptable, and second they already completed the job. I don't want to be difficult and argue when they have already done their tasks and not be paid. Besides, they did a good job.
So why the 1 star? Well, we scheduled our next cleaning service- and I told them I wanted a deep cleaning in which I have to pay more than the regular cleaning but less than the initial service. We have agreed on the price. Rosa told me before that if I have any problem to let her know .
Anyway, the cleaners did not clean the kitchen cabinet, they did a lazy way of cleaning the floor (not the whole area of the floor was clean) and the bathroom downstairs (except for the toilet) was not clean. They did not clean the blinds and the windows. And those are the only ones I noticed ( I dont know what else they did not do). So I called several times and left messages. Finally I spoke with her and told her what the cleaners did not do. She told me that she would talk to them and find out. I did not get a call from her. I called her again a couple of days later. Just to follow up so I can make my payment,. She sounded upset and annoyed telling me that she sent over the best team that she has and its upto me how much I should pay them . I told her in a calm way that I wanted to be fair in paying them and she should tell me how much I should pay considering the things that were not done. She said in an angry voice " I already sent you the bill and that" s the price" its upto you how much you want to pay !
I will pay it full even if its not the deep cleaning I asked for and with that poor unprofessional attitude of hers because thats not how I conduct business with people. I am a good payor . And I believe in karma. With the economy going on now, people who run business with poor service should be wary. I will give it somewhere else.
Just a friendly advice to those who are looking for housekeepers- BE CAREFUL in hiring this group. Hire them at your own risk. If they work out for you , good for you . But I will not get their service anymore. . read more
