I have a rule when traveling to never repeat a restaurant. You just never know if a great gastronomic experience can be topped right around the corner. You're reading YELP, you know what I mean. But Rosa Pinky had to be revisited for the melon and ham tapa .... only they have a rotating menu so I had to order something else. Everything on the menu is delicious, and the prices are average. When it's tapas time in Barca, climb uphill (why is everything in this town uphill?) to Rosa Pinky. Service was excellent, although they have excellent English, they pretended that my Spanish was intelligible. The other customers spoke Catalan. The potatas brava, paella, and espresso were wonderful. Close enough to Parc Guel to be convenient, far enough away to not be overpriced. There were only locals (other than me) both times I went, and I did meet some nice local dogs. I noticed some inexplicable negative reviews on Trick Advisor, which just goes to show why you should use YELP instead. read more
