As a homeschooling mom, I am incredibly intentional about my daughter's education. I want her to…read moregenuinely enjoy learning, receive an elevated education, and be taught in a way that honors her individual learning style. Because of that, I am extremely selective about who I invite into her educational experience. A+ Tutoring has truly become part of my team, and I could not be more grateful. From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional support and customer service. What has impressed me most is how thoughtfully they match each child with a tutor. They genuinely take the time to understand your child's learning style, personality, needs, and goals rather than simply assigning a tutor. And if something ever needs to be adjusted, they address it immediately. In my experience, they don't just solve the issue, they somehow manage to outdo themselves in the process. Mandy and Janelle, their incredible tutor matchmakers, are exceptional. They are attentive, responsive, intuitive, and truly invested in finding the right fit for your child. I have felt incredibly supported throughout the process. And then there is our tutor, Sonya Karl, who is EXTRAORDINARY. Sonya is deeply child-centered, incredibly intelligent, emotionally intelligent, patient, warm, and genuinely gifted at connecting with children. She has such a beautiful heart, and it is evident in the way she teaches. The most meaningful measure for me is this: my daughter is not only excelling academically, she genuinely looks forward to her tutoring sessions with Sonya. That says everything. Finding the right people to support your child's education is such an important decision, especially when you are homeschooling and creating an educational experience around your child rather than asking your child to fit into a system. A+ Tutoring understands that. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found them, and even more fortunate that they connected us with Sonya. They have earned my trust, my gratitude, and my highest recommendation.

Three sessions with Nelli and, not only was I passing my class and confident in taking tests, but the symbols became a language and she was the reason. She is the kind of teacher who inspires your interest in your most dreaded subject, motivates and pushes you to go out of your comfort zone, and most importantly: teaches you HOW to study to learn and understand. She not only teaches the material, but her tips, tricks and strategies are invaluable. She helped my son prep for the HSPT entrance exam for Notre Dame after he took their week-long test prep workshop and practice test and his score needed to greatly improve. Shushan worked with him once a week for a few months leading up to the test and his score went up 130 points and his markers went from half being in the 'below average' range & half in the 'average' range to ALL ABOVE AVERAGE on the actual test! He was accepted into Notre Dame and we couldn't be happier. Shushan also helped him with general study habits for tests and gave him tools that he can apply for years to come. We will continue to call Shushan anytime my son needs extra support throughout high school and will be sending my younger daughter to her to test prep when she's ready for high school. I highly recommend Shushan at Protege Tutoring to help get your kids where they need to be.

I was with Annie for 4/5 years on and off (7th grade (pre algebra) - 11th (pre-calc)) and even a little bit of Spanish in between! She was there to help me in person and through skype with all my math difficulties. From homework sets to the Final exam, Annie guided me through math with her techniques, practice and patience. She was always able to take whatever concept I was learning and tailor it in a way that I could understand. If there was something I could not wrap my head around she would break it down step by step until I was able to answer the main question at hand. She would give me practice problems outside of whatever work we'd do to make sure I had it down. Now she's not a tutor that will serve everything to you on a silver platter. She will make you work through it on your own as best you can. What I love about Annie is that she never gave up on me. Even though I hated math (still do lol) she believed I could get through it. She became more than a tutor for me! She knows her stuff and she is undoubtedly the best person I would come to if I ever have another math question again. But its a good thing I got better at it :)
