The restaurant is on a quiet side street in a very quaint neighborhood. The waiter proceeded to forget my entire order so I sat and watched my partner eat her food. When he was informed of the mistake he was very apologetic but failed to promise any compensation. I ordered my food a second time, and then *I* ate while my *partner* looked on. Need I say that's not the dinner experience you're hoping for? Anyway, there wasn't anything wrong with the food itself. A guy I assumed was the owner came by our table: "I heard about the thing with the order" he said, chuckled and patted me on the shoulder. "Sorry about that." It was just awkward and didn't feel sincere. Check came, no discount for the botched order. No dessert on the house. Nothing. The owner had made some more small talk, saying some of the dishes I had ordered were his personal top picks - and that I still had some of his recommended menu items to try out. "Maybe next time" he said. Little did he know there will be no next time.

The sauce was heavier, velvety and creamy, and the potatoes were oh so fluffy. The berries were tart and fresh. I loved my fish, too... the hazelnuts, brown butter and soy were such a bright, unexpected combination. I enjoyed every bite. Don't sleep on dessert here! I couldn't even finish my dinner but still wanted to try the chocolate rum cake (salty caramel sauce, roasted peanuts, vanilla ice cream and crispy sesame) and what a delightful flavor explosion! When looking back, it seems to be the right thing. The place is perfect for lunch and have around 6 dishes a day to choose from. Prices are fair, food taste genuine and extra spicy on demand.
